I recently used DC Services at my property to have the old fuseboard replaced and updated, together with a full safety test on all circuits. Dave is a very knowledgeable electrician and took the time to explain everything that was going on, managing some electrical faults that were encountered during the process in a friendly, yet professional, manner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DC Services to anyone.

They were helpful, friendly and professional throughout and carried out an electrical survey and all the necessary work to a very high standard. They arrived when they said they would, kept all their promises and were really trustworthy and reassuring. I was kept informed all the way through and everything was explained very clearly and patiently. I contacted Dave recently for some electrical work that we needed on the house, and right from the outset was impressed with his courteous reply and thorough approach in asking for all the details / current set up in the house etc and providing details of the work he would be doing. We agreed a date for the work to take place (including a full panel replacement) and he and Jamie arrived as agreed and explained everything that they would be doing, and the post installation checks before they would be leaving. I was incredibly impressed by their professionalism, knowledge and thoroughness in their work. There were a couple of issues that they needed to troubleshoot through and they stayed to ensure all was as it should be - much longer than their original estimated time. The certification was emailed through the same evening. Dave and Jamie are clearly meticulous in their approach to their work and also to their own continued professional development around industry changes. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending DC Services to anyone needing electrical work.

We had some internal light fittings added and new power supply to outbuildings including lighting and sockets. This was not straightforward, it being an old property with stone walls. The work was done professionally and efficiently. Daave always consulted with us regarding the best approach and options, and kept us fully informed of when he would be on site, minimising disruption. We would use DC Services again.

We have used DC Electrical Services for several years and can honestly say they are the best! You can rely on Dave to give honest, knowledgeable options and fair quotations. He always manages to fit us in, in a timely manner and gets straight onto the job with no fuss. Importantly they are very tidy too! Most recently our panel lighting in our very dark warehouse had failed and it was a system that is no longer available, but Dave suggested fantastic alternatives that our workers love - they can see now! (Photos don't do them justice!) Would highly recommend Dave and Jamie, no need to try anyone else!

Exceptional service. Dave and Jamie were quick, friendly, tidy and efficient. We required four ceiling lights of different sizes in different rooms to be replaced; and despite the exact product being discontinued, Dave was able to provide a solution that ensured a high standard of lighting throughout the building.

When he came to do the work he was professional and knowledgeable and gave us some good ideas about how we might make continued improvements in the future. Dave and Alan were absolutely fantastic. Friendly and professional but incredibly knowledgeable of what they had to do. Even faced with challenges outside of their control they went above and beyond to get the job done which essentially saved us a lot of money and time when let down by other tradesman. It wasn't a straight forward job either being such an old cottage with thick cob walls and unknown problems in a few areas! After all this he managed to get it done in less than the allotted time and certify all the electrics for rental. Would absolutely recommend.

Wired up a couple of ovens and a hob. He was very knowledgeable and professional, Got the job done with no surprises and in the best way possible. Used him before for our business requirements and went back as he is 'that' good.

David was absolutely brilliant and did a great job this week. It was incredibly hot with summer temperatures of 30 degrees but he just got on and did the work we'd arranged for him to do.... 6 new light fittings, a doorbell, new porch light, new sockets and a transformer. He was very punctual, polite, tidy and respectful of our home and charged exactly the price he'd quoted. No additional extras and we were very impressed that Dave stayed on late to complete the work at no extra cost. Job done to a great standard by a very personable chap. I would highly recommend and definately use Dave again.

I needed an electrician for some work in an old cottage I was renovating a couple of rooms in. I contacted DC Services and they came to take a look at the job. Not only did they advise on the electrical aspects of the job, they recommended a builder they work with frequently, and I was able to get him set up for the second stage of the work the very next day. I now have a gorgeous new set of sockets and lights and safe electrical appliances in the bathroom (mine didn't pass DC Services strict safety checks). The best bit of the whole thing for me was when I saw one of the team coming back into the house with cleaning equipment. I went upstairs and everything was back in place: newly waxed wood floors not a mark on them, newly painted walls still perfect. Both of the team were a pleasure to have in the house and I cannot recommend them too highly.
