I have an ongoing electrical problem and a massive phobia of letting people in my flat. The manager of EPS (Hudds) was good enough to get someone out to me straight away, which I wasn't expecting, so my first big thank you goes out to him for organising that. The guy that arrived, Paul, was professional, honest, and kind, and I can't thank him enough for being so accommodating of me and my situation. I will certainly be spreading the word that this company comes highly recommended. Edit: 4 months later. I asked the company back for more work and I would prefer to add another 5 star review but it seems I can't. Max was excellent - professional, answering all my questions and explaining everything, and very kind. Once again, I'll be spreading the word about how super this company have been. Contacted EPS for a quote for additional sockets. Paul came out to have a look at the work required. Dan and his team turned up as expected. Dan explained the work they were going to do over two days. They were punctual, efficient, friendly and tidied up as they went along. I am pleased with the completed work carried out. Dan also recommended some additional work required due to the age of the electrics.

EPS always do a great job, their service levels are excellent and both the electricians and service centre provide a very professional experience. We have had Marcus doing the electrical work the last couple of times and he has been both reliable and thorough, so very satisfied. Thank you.

Had Dan out again as was having a problem with some lights that were faulty, came out within a few days of getting in contact and found and fixed the problem quickly. I will definitely be using these guys as my Electricians from now on they have been amazing. Thank you :)

7 days before Christmas and my electric oven was tripping the electrics, I had bought a replacement part and fitted it but the oven kept tripping. I called EPS up to see if it could be repaired and spoke with Paul who advised to clamp the pins first before fitting them and this worked. Very helpful and saved Christmas

Really impressed with quick response to my enquiry and Paul's efforts to find a solution to the problem with my oven. He narrowed down the likely source of the fault and although EPS was unable to go ahead with a repair, Paul pointed me in the right direction. Invaluable feedback, much appreciated.

Excellent service. Marcus the engineer was friendly and efficient, some of the problems I had had with the electrics he had come to look at seemed to be fine on the day but he did full checks and reassured me and didn’t try to do works that weren’t needed which really impressed me. Works he did do were well done and he tidied up afterwards. Excellent job, reasonable price and I’ve already booked in another job with EPS on the back of this.

Came out straight away on the day of phoning to sort out my burnt out shower switch. A friendly and very polite young man arrived and fixed it professionally. Having used this company before, I would always recommend them.

We have had a great experience with EPS (Hudds). Dan and Joe called at the time agreed and carried out the necessary work quickly and at a very reasonable cost. There was quite a mystery to solve but they didn't give up and everything has been working perfectly since - thank you so much both! :)

I have just had a first class experience with the local electrician from this company. I had the electric tripping on one circuit after having a cooker fitted by someone else. The electrician diagnosed the problem and solved it very quickly and efficiently. He was a very helpful and polite guy and got us up and running quickly. Thank you for your fast response too.

EPS sent Jae out to fix a number of lights in my flat that were not working. Jae was incredibly friendly and professional. He fixed as much as he could on the day and ordered what parts would be needed to finish the job. I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Electrical Project Services (Hudds) Ltd (EPS) for some work on my property, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. A week before the main work, Paul came by to assess the needs of the project. His professional assessment set the stage for the excellent service that followed. Jay then came to fit a new bathroom fan in the ceiling void above the downstairs shower, accessed through the upstairs bathroom. He worked tirelessly, navigating the challenging task of lifting the floor to access the fan location. His effort and dedication were truly commendable. It was also Jay’s keen observation that led to noting the outside vent lacked a proper cover. He promptly recommended fitting a grill to prevent any vermin and insects from entering, though he couldn’t install it immediately as he didn’t have the grill on hand. True to their word, EPS were back earlier today to fit the external grill. Paul texted me beforehand to confirm their arrival, and the job was completed swiftly and without any fuss. Their attention to detail and willingness to follow up and ensure everything was finished to the highest standard is commendable. It’s rare to find such reliable and considerate service today. Paul, Jay, and the team at EPS truly went above and beyond, not just meeting but exceeding my expectations. EPS was recommended to me and they were excellent. Paul and Kai investigated the problem with my underfloor heating system, swiftly diagnosed the problem and then explained the repair and associated costs. They went and got the spare part needed and installed it and the system is working fine. I would certainly recommend them for their skill, professionalism and customer service, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Arran was most helpful and arranged for an engineer to call the next day. Once Lewin had identified the fault and plumbers had replaced the faulty zone valve, Paul was round the next day to complete the wiring. I can’t fault the level of attention our small job received.

Paul was very responsive when my mum called to say she was still having problems with her economy 7 water boiler. As soon as he took a look he knew what the issue was and quickly went to collect the part, was soon back and fixed the issue. Paul also called me to keep me in the loop as I originally called EPS on behalf of my mum. I thought this was very good of him to check with me that it was ok to go ahead with the repair as sometimes elderly people can be vulnerable and not always have a grasp of issues in hand. I would definitely recommend EPS and would use them again if needed. My mum is also very happy the problem is fixed and she has hot water again.

I’m renting so the job was all arranged through the letting agent. Paul kept in touch direct though and was happy to give advice. Excellent service from EPS. Back in January, we had several electrical jobs to do around our house. Fitting LED lights, changing ceiling pendants, removing electric fire and new sockets. After searching Google, I found EPS. Paul came round to give us a quote. It was a reasonable price and we had certainty about when the work could be done. We decided to go ahead and the electrician was friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job for us. We're really pleased with the work. We'd definitely use EPS for future electrical work. ... Daniel and Louin who conducted the work were very polite, worked efficiently and have done a fantastic job installing a new bathroom light, 2 new smoke detectors and checking the electrical installation. Guys arrived ahead of expected time. Did a thorough test of fault circuit and associated fuses / fuse box. Diagnosed and resolved potential issues and was able to install oven onto circuit without problems. Tidied up after themselves. Nick, assisted by Lewin, replaced our antiquated fuse box, checking our electrical installations. Nick was extremely thorough, showing great attention to detail. Excellent tidy work. Good communicators too. A few months later we then had an external double socket installed in an outside shed, requiring taking a feed from a circuit inside the house. This time Dan and Lewin attended - friendly, efficient and expertly-done work . . . There was minimum disruption inside the house. Clean reliable, very safe accomplished work, thank you. . . .

We had EPS come to our new house to relocate some sockets, light fittings and aerials. They also put in new sockets where requested, fitted a great light in our attic and safely removed unnecessary light fittings and sockets. They also figured out our outside lighting for us that we couldn’t work. They’re now all working and connected to switches inside the house. The guys turned up on time and communicated with us every step of the way. Great work by great lads, will definitely have them back to complete further work when required. Thank you ☺️

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I had a problem with my electrical circuit, which meant I was not able to work as all the sockets were out. Within an hour of reporting the fault, the chaps telephoned to say they were on their way!! And what a wonderful couple of chaps they were. Friendly, helpful, professional and above all, patient with an old woman who knows nothing about electricity. I think their names were Nick and Lewin. My cats even liked them, and they are normally very wary of men, being rescued cats. In all honesty, they are my Heroes. So, thank you, Nick and Lewin, you made this Crazy Cat Lady a very happy woman! Oh, and one more thing, they tidied up after themselves...………..big bonus!!!!!
