I needed a new electric socket in the kitchen, near a telephone for the switch-over to Digital Voice. Chris came to see the job, gave me an estimate and arranged to come well before the BT/Openreach engineer's appointment. When I later discovered that the time was no longer convenient for me, he willingly changed the time of the appointment to a more convenient time for me. He came this morning and did a very neat job. I am delighted with his work and can thoroughly recommend CGB Electrical Services. I am most grateful and will definitely use him again.

Excellent service from start to finish. Chris and his team arrived exactly when they said they would, talked me through the installation, and completed the work to a very high standard. The installation is incredibly neat and tidy, with a dedicated EV distribution board installed in the meter cupboard, making for a really clean setup. Everything was fully tested, commissioned and certified. The price was fair, there were no surprises, and they left the area spotless afterwards. I'm extremely pleased with the quality of the workmanship and wouldn't hesitate to recommend CGB Electrical Services to anyone looking for an EV charger installation.

Exceedingly happy to have booked Chris for various electrical jobs I needed to be done. He was great - arrived punctually with another chap (apprentice?) and immediately checked out each of the jobs I was asking for. They zoomed of to purchase the things needed for the various jobs and was swiftly back and immediately got stuck in. So thorough and efficient, tidy and organised. Thoroughly impressed. He got my security light working, sorted out a light switch that had been heating up, changed two ceiling lights in the bedroom replacing them with lights and shades that sit close to the ceiling, and replaced three electric single sockets for double sockets. They didn't stop and in under 3 hours of first arriving all jobs were completed and I was chuffed to bits! Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to use again for any future work. I was given Chris's number by a friend who had been similarly impressed by him.

We've used CGB for a number of jobs over the last seven years: most recently changing a pool light fitting. In the past CGB have helped us with converting properties to LED, installing storage heaters, repair work on immersion heaters and a large number of other fixes and repairs. The properties here are hundreds of years old with archaic electrical infrastructure that often present unexpected and unusual problems; CGB are yet to hit a barrier here that they have not been able to overcome, including two jobs that other electricians told me were impossible. All work done to a very high standard: punctual, tidy, professional.

Chris did a rewire on my property fitting sockets, down lights, smart immersion, numerous other power out lets and consumer board. Chris advised through out making sure I had everything where I needed it and future proofed for Ac and solar install. The job had to be carried out inbetween building works as and when access was available but this wasn't a problem for him. Once the house rewire was complete he came back and fitted additional outside lighting and ran power for the outside cameras and doorbell. After that he came and did my solar installation, arranging the dno and fitted 12 panels, 5kWh inverter, 10kWh sunsynk batteries and bird proofing. I was very fussy with the orientation of the panels and the need for it to be symmetrical. The mounting rails had to be adapted but this didnt faze Chris. Once again having to be carried out inbetween building works and access. I've worked with many electricians through the years and I'd highly recommend CGB electrical services Ltd for his professionalism and attention to detail through out.
