Hobbs Electrical Group Ltd - Hemel Hempstead

I had Keith and Dan from Hobbs Electrical Group install Hunza garden lighting at my home and I couldn't be happier. From the first visit they listened to what I wanted, explained the options plainly, and gave me a clear quote with no surprises. The installation was neat, on time, and the site was left spotless. The garden looks completely different after dark: soft, warm light on the planting and paths, with none of the glare. Professional, tidy and genuinely good at what they do. I’d recommend them without hesitation.

Top tier work from the guys. Went above and beyond to do a proper job rather than just hack a solution in. Polite, prompt and thorough.

We asked Hobbs Electrical to instal an EV charger. They also upgraded our electrical supply in anticipation of more work we require following a house move. Hobbs are very responsive and absolutely know exactly what they are doing. The work is carried out to a very high professional standard and they understand the customers’ needs and requirements.

We recently worked with Keith at Hobbs Electrical while selling a property in Wendover that required substantial electrical rewiring. Keith was quick to provide a clear quote, agreed a timescale with us and carried out the work promptly and efficiently. The work was completed to a very high standard, with everything left clean and tidy, and all the appropriate paperwork provided on completion. We were extremely pleased with the service from Keith and Hobbs Electrical. His communication, efficiency and professional approach made what could have been a stressful part of the sale very straightforward. We would have no hesitation in recommending Keith and Hobbs Electrical to anyone looking for a reliable, professional and efficient electrical contractor. Thanks again, Keith, for the excellent work and for getting everything completed so quickly.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Keith was professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable and the job was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled electrician.

Keith was very responsive from the start. He was easy to relate to, expressed matters clearly, gave good advice and turned up on time. He installed an EV charger for us, commissioned it and made sure it was working. Very happy with the workmanship. Nothing could have been better.

Absolutely brilliant service. On time and friendly and professional. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The service provided by Keith is excellent. He connected my hardwired Ring DoorBell, and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. He is a perfectionist. Mid-way through the job, he mentioned that there was a part that could be ordered which would enhance the product (but was not necessary), and he said he was more than happy to come back once the part had arrived to ensure the job was done properly. He has also since helped with smaller jobs such as checking walls for live electrics prior to installing shelves etc. His attitude to his trade is unrivalled and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing work done.

We were very impressed with Hobbs electrical in both their speediness and quality of work when we needed them to sort our dangerous plug sockets !!

Keith came out to us in Harpenden at short notice when our home kept tripping the fuse box. He tested everything and worked out it was actually our washing machine causing the problem. Really grateful for his help and his quick response. Highly recommended!

We were having our garage converted and we had some concerns about our electrics so we called on Dan. He was able to advise us and removed the old car charging unit etc. Dan is always thorough explaining what is needed and why and ensuring everything is done safely and to the highest standards.

I dont often give 5 star reviews, but this is truly deserved. We had an issue with our boiler electrics just as we hit the cold spell early this year. We called Dan who was in the area and he came over within a few hours and honestly felt like nothing was too much of an issue. Top quality customer service and was fixed and back up and running in less than half hour. My wife and children were so relieved. As if that was not enough i then called him again a few months later and he helped us change over the electrics on our new dishwasher. Very professional and highly skilled team with all that latest safety certification. Cannot fault them..pun intended!

Keith and Dan did an excellent job at my property. The work took two days to complete, and throughout the process they were professional, friendly, and approachable. They made me feel comfortable from the start, and it felt as though we had known each other for years. Their communication was excellent, and they were both highly sociable while maintaining a professional attitude. I am very pleased with the work they carried out and would happily recommend them to others. Kudzayi Bvekerwa Vicar St Michael and All Angels, Watford.
