I came across Dale Hunter, A10 Electrical Solutions, after being badly let down by a previous electrician who misled me and significantly overestimated the work and equipment needed. In a rush to find someone reliable, I contacted several electricians across Essex. Dale stood out straight away—he was confident, knowledgeable, and straightforward, which gave me the reassurance I needed to go ahead with him. The job wasn’t simple. I live in a Grade II listed property, so everything had to be done with care. Dale upgraded the distribution board in the main house, ran a 25-meter 16mm 5-core armoured cable to a newly renovated outbuilding, installed a new distribution board there, and fitted a high-speed EV charger using my existing three-phase electricity supply. He also thoroughly tested everything and provided the relevant certification. What really impressed me was Dale’s clear communication—he took the time to explain everything step by step, so I always understood what was happening. He worked with great precision and genuine pride in his craft. On top of that, he was mentoring a few apprentices throughout the job, which says a lot about his character and commitment to giving back to his profession. Dale is a rare combination of technical skill, honesty, and social responsibility. He’s a credit to his field, a great representative of Essex, and no doubt someone his family can be proud of. Wish I could give 100 stars! We needed a full rewire in our new home which we had never experienced before and the care and commitment Dale had to our house was unbelievable. He appreciated the age of the home (1905!), took so much care in working around the character of the home instead of chasing through dado rails and coving, whilst working to an exceptionally high standard. Dale communicated every step of the way, let us make any decision ahead of completing anything and was flexible too to add on any additional things we wanted done on top of the very long list. No job was too big for him and he brought his best self to work everyday. We’re so chuffed that we’ve found a reliable Electrican now who we will use for everything - and he made a gross rewire with dust and mess so painless that we could still live in the house thorough out the work being completed. Couldn’t recommend Dale and his team more.

These guys are definitely the ones for any electrical job you need done. They walk you through the job, explaining what they’re going to do and the different ways it can be carried out. They work neatly and tidily. I couldn't recommend them enough! I had an EV charger installed and was so impressed by how quickly they worked. By the end of the job, it didn’t even seem like they had drilled holes—everything was clean and tidy. I'm having a full distribution board rewire done, and I already know who I'll be calling! It's so hard to find a good electrician who makes you feel welcome and relaxed about anything you need done, but these guys do exactly that. They are definitely problem solvers! If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

I cannot recommend A10 highly enough. My rat's nest of junction boxes, stray cabling and out-of-date switchgear got turned into a modern and safe installation.

Second time using Dale at A10 Electricals. Absolutely brilliant service yet again. I just moved into a new property and I asked Dale if he could come round and give the place the once over and a bit of an MOT health check. Him and Joe smashed it out within a few hours and gave me a list of all the things that needed doing in the future which I will get onto. We have now used A10 Electricial Solutions twice in the space of 6 months. On both occasions, Dale has been efficient and helped us solve our electrical issues. I cannot recommend Dale highly enough. He was thorough in asking exactly what my concerns were re our electrics and made a date to come very soon to carry out the EICR. On the day, he arrived promptly and was very efficient as he carried out his tests. He was very considerate to both myself and my daughter as he went around the house completing his work. Once done, Dale’s report was detailed and very clear. He was more than happy to break down necessary work going forwards into priorities and financial blocks and couldn’t have been more patient explaining it all to me. Great service and customer service. Found myself in a very stressful situation at home just before Christmas and I’ve contacted Dale who immediately organised an emergency visit and repair at home with Archie. The electrician was very helpful and extremely careful to make sure he fixed the problem that he triple checked everything again before leaving.

Absolutely troopers! I spoke with Dale ( the boss man) on the telephone and was amazed how empathetic and accommodating he was. Unlike other electric companies, Dale did not even ask for a deposit up front but said “I’ll send my men to have a look first”. Which is eye opening — never seen an electric company like this. Leonard and Joe (electricians) arrived on time, they were extremely polite, professional and reassuring. What amazed me the most was when they realised they didn’t have the parts to fixing some areas they went out and bought the parts to make sure everything was fixed on the same day. (Than charging me another visit) The price was so reasonable I had no excuse not to pay immediately. I am so grateful for their efficient and reliable help! I will not change electricians from now. And I will sure recommend them to everyone.

Called Dale at A10 electrical as the whole downstairs lights and sockets went in my sons new home. it was Saturday 7.30pm. Dale answered my call immediately and asked the obvious questions to make sure i hadn't accidentally tripped the fuse. he sent over his Electrician within 30min. He checked all lights switches and fuse box etc.. Then found the fault a security light with water damage inside the box, which tripped everything. I was amazed at the speed, professionalism, care and service showed by A10 Electrical. If I ever need an Electrician I will always call Dale @ A10 Electrical without any hesitation. Absolutely BRILLIANT!

I set out many different job such as installing new double switch sockets, replacement and relocating new kitchen spot lights. New pendant and and another spot light. Light under the stairs etc... While Dale was still putting a plan together, I kept on making new changes. Adding and taking away job. This indecisiveness could of easily caused many problems and confusion, but the communication between myself and Dale and Leo was easy and simple. They made it comfortable with so much flexibility and adjustments. I love the end results and I am so happy. I will always use A10 Electrical solutions. A10 Electrical turned up to change my old heating and hot water controller for a nest learning one. They arrived on time and carried out the work to a very high standard,polite and informative at all times. Came across one small problem that was not mentioned In the instructions with the Google nest controller but Dale went on line and found out the problem. Left the area clean as they found it . Brilliant Service! Dale and Leo installed a ring camera at the side including flood lights, soffet lights at the front of the house, a rear flood light, an outdoor electrical point and an electrical point inside the house in a very difficult position! The guys were friendly, wore all the PPE and the job was done in 1 day which is incredible considering the amount of work. I'm trying to find something else around the house I want done so that I can have them round again. Well done and keep up the great work!
