Conor Coad Electrical

I used Conor recently for a few bits and pieces and I was really impressed. He was a lovely lad, as was the apprentice he had working with him. They were really polite and eager to please and the prices were good too. I would definitely use Conor again and would recommend him to anyone needing any electrical work doing.

We recently used Conor to install some new sockets, various outside lighting and replace our extractor fans for ones with backdrafts and timers. The team were professional, punctual and kept us updated throughout the day. A few issues where identified as the job progressed but he adapted and found solutions in order to give us what we had asked for resulting in the team working late. We would have no hesitation in recommending Conor and will certainly be using his company in the future for all our electrical work 👍🏻

I recently contacted Conor to ask if he would disconnect a double oven and then reconnect a new single oven with an integrated single oven/microwave above it. Not only did he come and do this for me, but he went the extra mile fitting them into the new kitchen units and sorted out cables, sockets and the appropriate related work in the meter cupboard. His standard of workmanship and his work ethic were both top quality and I will, without doubt, call him again for any future work and I would 101% recommend him to others.

I contacted Conor approximately three weeks ago regarding an electrical fault in my porch. I had been let down repeatedly by a previous electrician who had failed to turn up on numerous occasions. I had explained all this to Conor. I found his attitude and skill in detecting the fault was excellent. We agreed a course of action to rectify the fault. I waited a week for a quote to arrive. It was very fair and I replied promptly that I was happy to proceed, and requested a date for the work to be carried out. Conor replied he would check his diary and let me know the following day. He didn't reply as stated, and yesterday sent a message that he had a cancellation and could attend yesterday if I was available. I immediately rang him back to state I could make myself available. He stated he had a job to complete in Padiham and it would be afternoon when he would attend. I rearranged my day and waited in from midday, at half four I rang him, he stated he was still on a job and may still make it,he messaged at half seven to say he had just left the job. Obviously at that time of night he wasn't going to get to me. I didn't receive any further update to rearrange or indeed apologise for his none attendance. I left a voicemail this morning and still no update. I am just so disappointed by this as it's now the second electrician to let me down, I contacted Conor based on all his positive reviews about being professional and reliable, I was more than happy to use Conor for the job, however, I have found contact difficult in terms of timely responses and updates. I fully accept things can crop up unexpectedly and jobs can become more involved than expected,but I don't think it's too much to ask that waiting customers are kept reliably informed as to what's going on. Basically I changed my plans last minute for this work to be completed and waited in for hours , the consequence was a no show. But as stated Conor is a very nice person so I may have just been very unlucky, but I just don't know... just to provide an update, Conor contacted me yesterday after I had left a message, apologized as he thought he had made it clear that he would try to get to me, so clearly a breakdown in clarity, anyway the upshot was that Conor came round this morning and completely sorted the fault out, very quick tidy work, professional courteous attitude, always happy to answer any questions. I am so glad we have sorted things out, and I would definitely use him again, his work is excellent, he was keen to put things right which I have to fully respect as he could have just walked away, so thank you Conor, much appreciated.

Conor has done a few different jobs for us - creating a tv aerial point in a bedroom, fitting a beautiful but complicated pendant light on a high stairwell ceiling (there was no electrical point for a light on the ceiling so Conor also created an electrical point in the ceiling first) and also wiring up and fitting external cctv. Conor has always been on time, he is extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. And he insists on cleaning up afterwards too! We wouldn't go to anyone else now for electrician work. And we definitely 100% recommend him!!

Cannot recommend Conor more. He's reliable, excellent at his job. Did a full rewire in our house and has since done some outside electrics for us too. He is amazing and I'll continue to use him for any electrical work

Conor recently installed a new integrated oven and microwave for us and did a fantastic job. He was punctual, professional and he cleaned up after he’d finished, which is always a bonus in my book. After a number of other companies declined to attend. I called Conor very very late at night to attend our business property after a partial power cut. Conor was really helpful on the phone and agreed to attend the site to take a look at the issue. Conor communicated via text throughout and attended as promised. Conor took his time to diagnose the issue and quickly found where the fault was and explained to me in layman terms the issue and how to resolve it. Conor came out to our house last year as an emergency callout when the power to our heating system cut out. He was friendly, professional and extremely patient. He explained exactly what was wrong, what was required to fix it, how long it would take and how much it would cost. The price was extremely reasonable given the work completed and time of night Conor attended. Would 100% recommend

Highly recommended! Conor Coad Electrical was appointed to complete all electrics on a 4 bedroom detached new build house including first and second fix, solar panels and electric car charger. Conor went above and beyond and will without doubt work with Conor again.

I first contacted Conor Coad as I had been let down through cover I had been paying to BG to cover electrics but left me without lighting in my home for many months.
