Matt came to our hour of need as a result of an electrical emergency. He promptly isolated the problem, being methodical and thorough. The service we received was second to none, both in workmanship and professionalism. We were so pleased with the service that Matt provided that we got him to make a second visit to replace our consumer unit with RCBOs and protection surge. We also got him to complete some extra work by installing a fused spur, nothing was too much trouble. We are so impressed with the professionalism, work ethos of the company that we will be looking to get the company to replace all our electrics in our kitchen whene we update our kitchen. I have no qualms in recommending Mattex Electrical Contractors.

Matt and his team arrived as promised. They fitted a motion sensor light to the front of the house and also fixed the water feature by replacing the cabling with dog proof cabling! The boys worked extremely hard as the cabling had to be dug quite deep around the perimeter of the garden. They also installed a new power socket at the back of the garden. The area was left clean and tidy and everything put back in it's place. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matt. Professional polite and helpful. Thanks once again.
This is second occasion that we have used Mattex, the first was for installation of power to our summer house and the second was for the installation of a Zappi EV charger. Both installations were neat, tidy, high quality of workmanship and were very well priced. On both occasions Mattex were very accommodating timing wise and were able to fit our work into their schedule.

Very tidy job done by Bailey and despite me adding couple more bits and bobs it was all done within the time frame quoted. Very reasonably priced too. Work all carried out to a satisfactory standard, with good communication from the electricians about things that required my input. The only slight downside was that they had ran out of wipes to clean floor, so I had to mop it myself afterwards, with all the dust that was produced.
This is the second time we've used Mattex and again we are delighted with the quality, price, workmanship and professionalism of Matt's team. Having recently moved into a new property there was some disastrous electrical work done by someone else in the past and it needed to be put right. We received prompt responses from Matt and quickly agreed the quotation and the work started soon afterwards. The guys were a pleasure to have in the house as they were knowledgeable, courteous with excellent attention detail also providing us with some useful advice. Matt's team replaced a consumer unit, fitted a garage ring main, certified the wiring installation and rectified several electrical issues. Fantastic experience with Matt's company having just had 3 sockets and a new electrical circuit installed in my property by him. When I first contacted Matt he came out to the house the same day and within 24hrs I had received the quote, which I immediately accepted. We agreed a date and Matt was there when stated, he did a truly neat job, leaving no mess as well as explaining what he had done. All of this meant I didn't need to contact anyone else. Used Matt for CU relocation/upgrade and installation of SWA feed to shed, plus a couple of minor updates to a light fitting and socket. Jon was scheduled quickly and all work completed professionally and on time.
I used Mattex to install a new Consumer Unit and carry out an EICR prior to letting our house. Matt was friendly, helpful and also quick to respond and book us in. The work was carried out to a high standard and nicely cleaned up on completion. I would definitely use them again without hesitation.
