I will only use Lee for any electrical works from now on due to easy, swift communication, very competitive rates and most importantly reliability. I had started to loose my faith in many trades now but Lee has restored this.

Excellent Tradesman and I would highly recommend. I had to bring the appointment forward to accommodate the plasterer so Lee had to move his diary about which was greatly appreciated. He fitted a plug behind a media wall and two light fittings. He was clean tidy and gave me some good advice. Don't hesitate to use this company.

Replied straight away, very helpful and friendly. Neat job completed

We are delighted with the work completed by Domestic Electrician Ltd. Lee's positive manner and workmanship were fantastic. Lee installed various devices, including a video doorbell and smart security - within a particular/tight/pressurised timeframe - at my elderly father's home. Lee worked systematically throughout each stage of the full-day job, with swiftness, creatively problem-solving whenever necessary. He was kind and compassionate to my elderly father's persistent curiosity with the works. And to fit our schedule and get everything complete, Lee worked late into the evening, under floodlights in the garden. I look forward to our next project with Domestic Electrician.

Lee installed a new consumer unit for me recently, he turned up on time, was very conscientious, his work is very neat and tidy and he was also willing to talk about and explain what he was doing. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Despite the call out fee even though normal seeming price, Lee did the best job anyone could ask for! Connected my wired oven to the kitchen (no plug), advised me on how to get rid of the new burnt smell, and helped me with a side task awesomely!

Lee arrived at the agreed time and worked all day without a break, he returned the next morning to finish off and clear up. Lee installed a new distribution board and lighting in the garage, several external lights, a new feed to our summer house and sockets within. He also noticed and rectified some wiring errors on our consumer unit that a previous electrician had installed (thanks for that Lee). Overall we were very impressed with his work ethic and the end result. His quote was very good for the work required and if/when we need more work done, Lee will be first on the list. If we could give him 6 stars we would. Thanks again Lee.

Lee however was up for helping out straight away 😃 Lee managed to sort my home networking issues with next to no hassle. Also helped and advised on some automated lighting problems that I sprung randomly on the day. Great and personable service 👍

He spent over 12 hours completing the work to an exceptionally high standard and the total price was very competitive as well. Highly recommended!

Lee couldn’t have been more helpful. Within 1 hour of calling he was at the property carrying out a faulting finding. He traced the issue to an old outside connection unit that had ingress and was shorting the house RCD. 10/10 outstanding response and quality of work.

Lee attended a late afternoon emergency call out of a Sunday. He was really helpful, found the fault in our electrics, sorted a short term solution which allowed our fridges and freezers to remain on and returned the following morning to finish job. Highly recommend - very reliable!

Contacted Lee and he came out same day to replace an outside pir light and pull cord fitting. Lee was very polite and respectful of my property. Cleared up all mess and took old fittings with him. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thanks Lee

I had great work from Domestic Electrician, Lee. He connected up and installed garden sockets, shed consumer unit, lights and sockets. I'd seen other reviews, and thought that sounds like the right kind if guy, and he was as good as I'd hoped. He worked a slightly longer day, in rainy conditions, and made sure the job was done, and done well. Thanks

Lee carried out our recent electrical checks and identified a couple of small jobs that needed doing. He managed to fit us in quickly and the jobs were completed within half an hour! Really professional service.

Lee did a great job in replacing a bathroom extractor fan and then correctly extracting the vapour to exterior. He found that the steam had been previosly going into the loft, which had been causing mould on bathroom ceiling and condensation on the stairway wall. The price was very reasonable for 4 hours work. I really appreciated the itemised bill, quite a rare thing these days. I was able to see cost of fan + extras and hours worked. Further he sent me photos of the finished job, so I could see where on the exterior of the property the vent for external evacuation was placed. I will have Lee back for a second job without getting further quotes. Would highly recommend.

Lee attended at short notice to install a double dimmer switch that had previously been attempted by a friend of mine. He fixed all the issues that had been caused by this quickly, with no problem. Whilst Lee was at my address I asked if he could fit another fan in my daughter's grooming room for building regulations at a later date. Lee said he would complete the work there and then and get it all completed on the same day. Lee worked alone and with great skill. He cleaned up the mess he made and his work was high quality. I would recommend Lee to anyone requiring domestic electrical work.

Lee was absolutely amazing. Got the job done, no hassles or problems. I would highly recommend him and will definitely use him again

Lee visited out-hours on a Sunday (called at 14:30, arrived at the agreed time of 18:00) after I replaced a light switch and it aggressively said no when turned on. Lee identified the issue immediately and advised it was purely bad luck that a wire had split when I pushed the plate back on to the wall. Lee was extremely knowledgeable, confirming the steps I'd taken were correct and providing advice for future tasks that I might take on. I'll definitely be using Lee again in future; he is professional, friendly and provides great value. Thank you Lee.

The type of tradesman that you always hope will turn up (but doesn't normally!) Punctual, experienced, friendly, professional and respectful to your home. Would definitely recommend Lee and will be using his services again in future!

Lee is a nice guy and very professional. The light fixture was done so well. We are very satisfied with his service. Highly recommend!

Very satisfied customer. Lee was courteous, professional and amiable from the get-go. Answered the phone promptly, asked pertinent questions and arranged a time to come round and have a closer look. I was pressured on timescales and Lee was able to accommodate this. The work needed was explained to me along with the reasons why, options were discussed about the best ways of doing the work. Where things could be simplified Lee checked all regulations to make sure the work he was doing complied. Options were provided in terms of fittings used with a view to keeping costs down. Prices of both labour and parts discussed in advance so that there were no surprises in the final invoice. Timescales were also discussed and Lee came back the following morning to complete the work. Lee was thorough and diligent in his work leaving me confident in the service provided. He was clean and tidy in his work and left everything in a use-able state overnight. He even recommended a gas engineer for me as-well who has since been round and was also excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough. I admit that I am sometimes a bit intimidated by tradespeople but I needn't have worried in this case. Very grateful.

I am a retired professional electrical engineer with 50 + years experience and often review engineers and electricians work. I witnessed a recent installation carried out by Lee Groves on a new cooker circuit. It was a complex installation as the route was difficult. I witnessed a very professional approach by Lee to the problems in hand. His planning was very thorough and he carried out the work professionally and efficiently. It was a breath of fresh air to see Lee interacting with his client as he explained what he was doing and why. Always with a cheery attitude. I found him to be a very competent electrician who would always go the extra mile. He was also very insistent on clearing up after he had completed the work. A plus in my book. The Client was very pleased with his work and has asked for him to carry out some more work for her. I would most certainly recommend Lee for any electrical work, big or small.

I needed a professional as I needed to alter some socket positioning, and I also wanted the formal certification to go along with that work. This company did a great job at a very competitive price. Recommended without hesitation.

The work was meticulous, safe, and tidy, which I can highly recommend 💡
