Darren offers a very prompt and knowledgeable service at very reasonable prices. He is communicative and friendly, I would recommend his services as an electrician to anyone in the area.

Darren fitted us in to remove an integrated microwave and oven and replace with two new ones. When it came to do the fitting of the new equipment Darren had to replace the plug and move some of the shelves and cupboard around to do that, and he wasn't phased at all - which I really appreciated! He did all of this, was very cheerful and friendly about it all, and charged a very reasonable price as well, so will definitely be using him again - thanks Darren!

Darren installed an electricity supply to my workshop in the garden, including new consumer unit, sockets and LED lighting. The cable run was a bit tricky, involving running cable through 2 walls but Darren was spot on with his drilling. Really pleased with the quality of the installation and he was very professional, turned up on time and discussed possible options.

I would honestly give Darren 10/5 stars if I could. We had been waiting for another electrician for months on end, and eventually got fed up and found Darren via Google; it's the best thing that could have happened to us. He came to us the next day to peruse the work required and kept in touch until he had the space to carry out the work....the delay was fine by us, since who doesn't want a busy electrician! I rang three local electeicians and Darren from South Wales Electricians was the only electrician who picked my call offered to visit my home to quote. Great communication and options to call out to quote. Price quoted was very reasonable and fair. Darren turned up when he said he would and was very reliable, helpful and friendly. Overall I was very happy with Darrens service and will be recommending South Wales Electricians to my friends and family.

Having used Darren (South Wales Electrician ) to rewire my kitchen during the pandemic I was so impressed with his workmanship I decided to use him again. This time to replace single sockets to double in most rooms. This involved cutting channels into the solid walls then plastering over. The work was carried out with minimum disruption and left in a clean state. He also fitted a new component to my bathroom fan (which hasn't worked for years) and it is now fully operational. Also my fan in the conservatory was fixed (once again out of service for years) and a switch in my porch to put lights on before entering my house. All in all I was highly impressed with the work and the very competitive quote. I would have no hesitation in using Darren again and would recommend him to anybody requiring electrical work to a high standard.

This guy is a machine, fair play. Got him in for a full re-wire of a 3 bed that had historical dodgy electrics. I couldn’t believe how quick the turnaround and quality of the work was. Reasonable price and a sound bloke all round too. Highly recommend.

Darren replaced a few security lights and wired in a new camera for us. He was quick, responsive, fairly priced, and did a good job. Can't really ask for much more - I would definitely call him again.

I had an electrical emergency late on a Friday afternoon, and Darren was on site in under an hour. He calmly diagnosed and explained the problem, fixed the immediate issue and checked that everything else was working correctly. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and I had complete confidence after he left that everything was in good order again. His call-out fee was very reasonable. Darren has done a complete re-wired of our new house and done everything we have asked to a really high standard. We have not incurred one problem, his work has been faultless. He is very well organised and extremely clean whilst working, always only a phone call away! His attention to detail certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. Darren recently helped us to install a new hive and replace a valve in our heating system. We had quite the ordeal with a broken boiler over Christmas and a succession of problems in the aftermath of that. But Darren very much came to our rescue! Highly recommend if you have any electrical issues. Darren fixed a faulty underfloor heating system which was a complex issue but the fault was identified and repaired quickly. Very reliable and quick to respond.

I called SWE on the strength of the Google reviews. Darren prioritised my emergency and was at the house within an hour. He tested the fault and narrowed it down to a very bizarre/specific issue that I never would have been able to identify myself.
