We had a bit of an emergency and they came straight away and fixed it in no time. We'll definitely be using them again for future any future jobs

Had an electrical issue in a boiler cupboard at a tenanted property. Never a good mix with gas and meant they had to turn off the supply and were without heating or a shower. Spoke to Shab on Saturday afternoon and he had it sorted by Monday morning (and could've had it sorted on Sunday if we wanted). Very reasonable call out fee, a minor material cost for some new bits, and he highlighted some other potential issues that need looking at with no pressure on the upsell. Almost didn't believe so many positive reviews but I can see why there's so many. He really helped me out at short notice and can't thank him enough. Cheers Shab!

Excellent service, great communication regarding timekeeping and works required. Pricing clear and reasonable, would definitely recommend and engage again.

Work completed well and within expeced timescale. Reasonably priced and explained work to be done and gave advice for maintaining work.

I needed a basic electric cooker installation and came across this local business. The cooker came from amazon and typically arrived 2 days later than expected! This company didn't seem to mind me cancelling each time the cooker didn't arrive (I hope), but were practically on standby! I cannot believe how quickly they responded and installed the new cooker on the same day! Amazing, friendly service and I would definitely recommend and use again.

It is a pleasure to write a review for this company, after so many trades people letting us down with jobs. Shabir came after a long day's work out of Derby and he was professional and efficient. He solved an electrical problem that had been upsetting us for ages. When speaking on the phone he was polite he explained his price and he went out of his way to arrange the appointment and gave professional advice when he arrived. He quoted for a second job with a reasonable price for the future. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm. It was good to deal with a proper tradesman who knew his business inside out.

Shab is excellent, turned up when he said carried out the work to a very high standard. Would highly recommended UC Electrical for any electrical work

Quick response to initial enquiry, with work completed within a couple of days. Friendly and professional throughout, explaining everything that was required. Great job, would definitely use them for future work.

Polite, professional, quick! We recently used this company for the first time when a well-known electrical goods supplier was not able to connect the new ovens upon delivery (= they were hard-wired!). Having 2 ovens on the kitchen floor is not optimal, so I looked for local electricians in Derby and this company stood out AND answered the phone. A polite person gave me a quote and arranged the call-out. Within 48 hours the two old ovens were disconnected and the new ones connected and put into the built-in cabinet. Oh, and the electrician also fixed our extraction fan while he was there! All of this was cheaper than the included "installation" fee that the original supplier had charged (but fortunately refunded) and we will most certainly use this company for all our electrical work moving forward. 5 Stars - Bravo!

Came and installed my cooker within 30 minutes, excellent efficient professional and friendly electrician (Shab). Managed to get it to work as it’s an electric cooker without any issues, very prompt and quick service!

They plastered the damage and all was promptly resolved; advising to check on the repaired joint in 5 years time. I took the opportunity to have a socket box repaired at the same time. All work was completed within the hour, sockets and electricity supply to downstairs sockets restored , too. Thank you very much. I contacted UC Electrical as I had a Burglar alarm problem with a property we rent out. My usual guy just didnt return my calls which was irritating. I contacted Shab early on a Sunday morning and he returned my call within the hour. He diagnosed the fault virtually from my description of the problem. He sounded like he knew his stuff. He quoted me terms and I left him to contact the tenant and carry out the job asap....which he did the very next day. He called me from the house and confirmed diagnosis and quoted a full price. Excellent workmanship by Shab and his son. They are efficient, tidy, skilled electricians. They came on time, reliable, trustworthy and did an excellent job. Nothing was too much trouble... they fitted down lights, spotlights, sockets, alarm, security lights, relocated equipment for a new kitchen..... and fitted a new consumer unit! All work was carried out speedily and they even cleared up after themselves! Would definitely recommend Shab and his son if you are looking for trustworthy electricians who charge a fair price. Shab is a professional, punctual, reliable, trustworthy, he turned up as he said he would, fixed the issue, wiped his shoes on the mat every time, not all work men do that, he even took his shoes off when he went upstairs, he sorted the problem very quickly, his son who works with him was the same, I cannot recommend these guys enough and I’m fussy, no mess, I would happily buy this guy a beer anytime! These guys are worth their weight in gold!

This was a domestic call to sort out issues with a repeatedly tripping fuse. Very good service. There was prompt communication when I first got-in-touch (unlike most other electricians I contacted). The service today was excellent, thorough and very reasonably priced. Diagnosed the root of the problem within two hours and tidied everything back up. Would thoroughly recommend UC Electrical.

Very helpful and friendly. I was very distressed when my house alarm wouldn't switch off and they were very nice, quick, friendly. Would recommend.

I highly recommend UC Electrical Ltd. They were the only company to respond to us in a middle of the night emergency. A company you can trust to work to the highest standards, they will go above and beyond to help their customers and all at such a reasonable rate too! Very happy customers here! Thank you.

Answered straight away and sorted my PAT test for the next day-efficient and a great job!

Very good service. Called them out as my sockets had gone off came swiftly and did the job in no time. Very polite and a great price.

We had a indoor light switch controlling patio lights, and it needed moving away from the window so we could have blinds fitted. Emailed Shab late one evening and he replied the same night, which was excellent as we didn't have much time before the blinds were coming. He came to take a look the next day and suggested moving the switch outside (something we had not considered). He gave us a very reasonable quote and came to do the job a couple of days later. Very happy with the work. Punctual, tidy and efficient, and great communication over email. Will definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone.

Very competent with friendly service. Easy to have around the house. They will do big jobs well and will help with small ones too. Been using them for over 15 years.

Came early morning to find fault on kitchen socket, spent an hour finding fault, turned out to be a broken wire under floorboard upstairs, fixed the problem and then done RCD check to make sure fault will not occur again. Cleaned afterwards making sure it look like nothing ever happened. Very reasonably priced work, including all materials.

Would highly recommend Shab. He and Paul did an excellent job fitting 4 double sockets in my son's bedroom on a separate circuit to our fuse box & reconnected a faulty bathroom extractor fan to existing lighting. They were very efficient & friendly & did a great job tidying up. Very reasonable price! Will definitely be using UC Electrical again! Thanks Shab & Paul!

Excellent service would greatly recommend Mandy The Villas

I had a new cooker wired in and I can say that the work was carried out to the highest of standards. The price was good and the man, Shab, was pleasant, respectful and polite. I recommend this firm.

We have used UC Electrical for many year and have always been happy with their rapid response, expertise and efficiency. So they were the natural choice when we decided to have our house rewired. Nevertheless we did shop around and found UC Electrical to be competitive in price and, as ever, quick to respond. They did an excellent job with as little disruption as possible considering the size of the task. As our house is occupied, a lot of furniture needed to be moved, carpets taken up and an attic packed with "stuff" negotiated but they managed it all and were done in just over two weeks. I have no hesitation in giving them a 5-star recommendation.

Shab is a legend! Very fast response within a day and, along with efficient diagnosis, had fixed my house electrical issue with an hour. Highly recommended, will promote this genuine and knowledgable electrician who was a pleasure to do business with. Very pleased with the result, fab communication, will definitely use again. Top marks!

Very professional service. Great response time to an early morning call out. Understood the problem and pointed me in the right direction. Would use again

I have used UC Electrical for over 20 years, I can confidently recommend them for any electrical work. They always work to a very high standard with really good rates and a friendly trustworthy service.

Great service. Highly recommended.

They fitted a new modern fuse box to my very old house, plus replaced some sockets and a light. They even tidied up the existing cables. They were very reasonably priced and informative. They were very thorough and tidied the place up after themselves, even using my hoover. The guys are experienced and have a good sense of humour. This is the second piece of work they have done for me, and no complaints or problems so far. Give these guys a try with your electrical job.

I had an external double socket put in recently. They did a very good job. Very profesional and skilful people. Will recommend to any one. Aydin
