7 years after Gavin did my rewire, I asked him to fit an EV charger for me. Gavin was incredibly quick to respond to my initial request and any follow up questions. We went through all the details of the what, when and how. He was thorough with what needed to be done and quoted extremely reasonably, considering how far my consumer unit is to where the EV charger was mounted and the fact it had to be wired via the subfloor with extremely difficult limited access, is pretty deep and really muddy. A task I genuinely don't believe mainstream energy suppliers would be willing to do. Gavin, Chris and Jay showed up bang on time and got to work straight away. Gavin displayed military like precision and they all grafted extremely hard during the install. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with these lads. They were so polite, attentive and were always willing to explain anything I wasn't sure about, and to top it all off it was done properly and by the book. I was seriously impressed throughout and the end result was a super neat and tidy install with minimal mess. I personally find it hard to find high quality tradies, but Gavin, Chris and Jay were top tier and I wish more were like them to be honest. Thanks again lads 👍🏻

My new house needed a full rewire and Gavin and his excellent team did a fantastic job. He was very professional and explained everything very carefully. They started work on time and did a fine job. All my carpets were protected and my home was thoroughly cleaned up after the job was finished. The plastering work was also finished to a high standard with care taken to match the surfaces. Gavin even came in on Saturday to finish off and clean and tidy and I was able to contact him and discuss the work at any time. I would totally recommend Gavin Johnson Electrical if you need a rewire or any smaller electrical jobs.

I cannot recommend Gavin and his team highly enough. Gavin has completed two jobs for my mum and I. One involved an external commando unit and external sockets fitted, new spotlights in the bathroom and the second job was a new house alarm and security cameras. All jobs were completed to an exceptionally high standard. Gavin is quick to answer your call, he gives an honest quote which you can understand, explaining exactly what is needed. Amazing company and very professional electricians!! I’d highly recommend this company to anybody in need of electricians. Definitely masters in their field! Myself and my partner moved into this house a few weeks ago and realised we’d need more plugs. Gavin came same day to give us a free quote. He discussed different options and we decided a full rewrite would be needed. He arranged his business jobs the following week to fit us in. They fully retired the house within a week and gave a very good price. They were quick, efficient, knowledgable very professional. They cleaned up after themselves aswell which is an added bonus! Gavin was really nice. Arrived promptly on time and came in with his mate carrying everything he would need including his own stepladders. He installed the new strip light he had supplied in a very few minutes. It was brilliant. Just what I needed and to the brightness I had had previously. I was very satisfied. There was no mess left and within a half hour all was done and he was leaving. I had struggled all over the Christmas period with no light in my kitchen. The difference after Gavin's visit was amazing. I'm so pleased to have found him. I hope he will be free for other work in the future.
Gavin was quick, effective, reasonable and professional. Highly recommended! I had some smart metres fitted and the engineers informed me that the sockets in my kitchen had the live and neutral connections reversed. I phoned a few placed before finding this number and was won over when he was able to explain his availability and price within the call. My experience with the other numbers I found on google involved speaking to someone in a call centre who was only able to advise the call out charge and roughly how soon they could get someone out - feeling like I could be either scammed our over charged. I was very reassured that I could trust him after the call and will use him again for any further electric work I require in the future.

Gavin came and did some work for me at quite short notice, which included connecting a Nest, putting light fittings into a hallway, sorting out faulty wiring and several other things. The standard of the work was high and he left no mess. He was efficient, quick, very reasonably priced and easy to have around and I would absolutely recommend him.
After having problems with nearly every tradesman that has stepped foot into my house, G Johnson were amazing. They came in, offered advice, did the jobs required (even sorting someone else's terrible work which wasn't easy) and they are also reasonably priced. I would highly recommend and I will never use another electrician again.

Did a great job on 2 security lights. Fitted quickly and cleanly. Will be using again for internal lights soon....... Gavin returned recently to replace lighting in 2 bathrooms with recessed lights. He sourced them for mew and advised re dimmer switches and got the job done in both rooms brilliantly. The job was again clean and professional and the lights look great. I will be using Gavin again for any further electrical jobs
