CDFServices Monday 10th June 2024 came out within 30 mins, call out charge £49. I explained to the electrician all the lights and electric sockets have been checked and these in the kitchen were not working, he didn't check any sockets or lights he just listened to me, walked into the hall, made a phone call then said to me the job will £240! For what? No checks were done? How can a price be given? I paid the £49 call out charge and went to a neighbour that's an electrician for a call during the week, he said if a few appliances are off it's more than likely a trip switch, he came over and it was a trip switch, it took him 3/4 seconds and that's what Cdf were charging £240 for! I would think any qualified electrician would see a switch turned off against switches turned on so how do they justify their extortionate prices. One star is for turning up.
Lovely person guy came out to have a look but I’ve got another quote which was a couple of pound cheaper because I was in a budget. I didn’t use him but highly recommend this Plumber .
I’ve never recommend this company because of my bad experience with them. I called them to come and check it my Boiler they come in they charge me £540 for one hour job and he didn’t fix it. My Boiler working just three hours and then have a same problem what it was before I was stupid because I transferred the money straight away because of this experience I’m never gonna transfer money for somebody else straight away I have to Wait one week to see his job and then transfer it Open eyes people and then check the job and transfer the money when you are 100% sure if the job was sorted
What appeared to be a straightforward repair a leak to a pipe carrying water from the cistern to my toilet turned out to be a bit more difficult than expected. But Guy managed to stop the leak and refit the toilet afterwards. He cleaned up after he finished and explained to me what he had done. I was pleased with the result.
