Alex changed a few sockets in our house, installed a new socket and a new loft light. He offered advice prior to his visit and on the day was on time, friendly and very professional. The job was well done without disturbance, all was tidied and cleaned on completion. The charges were reasonable too. It's the second time we use him and both times, he was great. I would definitely recommend him.

Alex installed new lights for our bathroom, as well as a new extractor fan. We found him to be reliable, tidy and he offered good solutions to the bathroom light layout which we appreciated. We would definitely recommend him.

He agreed to do our rewiring on two properties let us down terribly and no doesnt answer calls or emails and just had this email Unfortunately Alex (Gecko Electrical) is no longer trading so he is not carrying out any more electrical work for the company. Faulty storage heater. Had quote from another electrician who said it needed replacement. David assessed and repaired it with no problem and considerably cheaper than a replacement. Would definitely recommend 👍

Alex is an exceptional electrician and it is specifically because of his work ethic and quality of work that I feel compelled to write this review. I recently had hired an electrician to help me get my house up to date and up to safety with properly working electrical components. However, when the job was finished, I was left, in reality, with a nightmare of a situation. I found Alex, and through his expertise and guidance, he completed and corrected all electrical components that had truly been left in such a hazardous state. He even helped me to write a report noting all of the issues! He advised me to report him and helped me to seek compensation for the poor work that had been done previously. And even beyond that, Alex not only repaired all of the existing hazards, but he came in to review his own work and ensure its soundness outside of regular working hours. He is the most ethical, trustworthy and hard-working electrician I’ve ever known and will never go to anyone else.

Alex came out to my property in Cambridge and installed 4 outside lights and carried out an electrical installation condition report as I am due to rent my property out, I was very happy with the service and professionalism shown from first contact- completion of the job required.

I am a kitchen fitter by trade and Alex is now my go to when I recommend an electrician or need to bring him into one of my jobs he always works well around us and will always be there when he says he will which now a days is hard to come by in my experience!
