Great experience booking with GW. We had 2 electric car chargers installed and also some new plug sockets for our kitchen (with USB and USBC). Perfect communication all throughout the process and would highly recommend for electric car charging. We are also going to get solar panels from them.

George installed a new chores EV charger at the end of my garden. I chose an independent electrician as the route from my house was quite convoluted and involved some trench digging. George helped to arrange this with a landscaping contractor. George communicated well and executed a fantastic install. Very neat, and competitively price. George has recently completed a full rewire of our house. The job was completed punctually and we were kept updated throughout the process. The standard of finish is outstanding, and we would highly recommend George for any electrical needs!
AVOID if you have cream k render walls and pride in your home as the finish is shocking. SO WHY DIDNT YOU USE SOME OF THE RENDER TO TIDY THE FINISH, AND STILL NOT EXPLAINED WHY YOU PLACED IT AWAY FROM THE ORIGINAL HOLES, AND YOU SHOULD HAVE USED CLEAR SEALANT - black sealant is not standard and it makes a mess. I’ve had to request someone else to inspect the work done by GW power solutions when fitting my new Ohme EV charger, and they agree the work is shockingly unprofessional. He did not fit the consumer unit over the holes where my previous charger was as per my request.he used strange hose pipe type conduit to hide the black cables despite the same conduit that previous professionals have used when fitting my solar panels, being available in Screwfix. And worst of all, he used black silicone on a cream wall and has left it all over my wall and electric meter box, it’s a mess, plug in stations advise they use clear silicone and a wet wipe so it is not visible, I could have done a better job myself. I’m appalled and pursing this with Ohme to try and fix the poor job. He even posted the poor work on his instagram page so you can see for yourself how bad it is.i also do not trust anyone on trust a trader/check a trader, poor workmanship, if they would decen5 they wouldn’t need to advertise themselves. I don’t care for excuses for a terrible job. He provided no explanation on how to set up the Ohme app either. I’ve also contacted EV made easy but had no response from them either. Irony is he has a cream walled house and said he would not expect anything less than a professional finish on his home - would you be happy with this on your home?!!!

I had work carried out by this company and was extremely pleased. The electrician did a great job and was reliable and communicated well. I had ceiling lights fixed that wasn't working and then new lights fitted. We contacted GW power solutions via checkatrade app to add power to our garage which is 20m away from our house, adding sockets and lights and future proof it for a potential EV charger installation. George was very quick to reply. He provided great explanations and justifications for the components picked and chose the best non invasive routing from the house control panel to the garage. He was also able to advise on how to get and record agreement from neighbours. George was able to come after a week and do the whole job in a day, arriving on time and installing everything very neatly. The final cost was the same as the initial quote which was a very good value for all the components, labour and certifications. We are very pleased and won’t hesitate to contact him again in the future.

George communicated well throughout the process, was reliable and did our kitchen wiring and board change with no issue and to a high standard. Its difficult to find reliable tradesman lately but ill use George again for sure.

George was very knowledgeable about are electrics, he was able to carry out the repair to our lighting circuit and getting it back up and running in the first visit. He bought it to our attention that our electrics are old and may need renewing in thr future I felt no pressure to carryout these works, I feel he had my best interest in mind.
