Dan's work on our loft conversion is spot on, and he was really helpful going through ideas for light fixtures and placements and working in less than ideal conditions with no floor and a big mess. Dan re-wired the house, and we are delighted to have sockets that no longer ooze green stuff! He was execellent at guiding us using his experience and nous, and was accommodating, efficient and skilled. The first picture is of our garage, which we are converting into a studio space (very pleased), and the second is our small kitchen, with 3 spots, under counter strip lighting and overhead lighting. Appreciate this is our taste, but posted the pics to demonstrate Dans versatility! Thank you!
Dan completed a full rewire at our property. Dan helped us expertly work out where we would need / wanted lights and sockets. Dan completed all the work in a timely manner and worked around other trades at the property. I would recommend Dan for all your electrical needs!
Dan installed new electrical circuits for infra red panels throughout our 1890’s built house. (And prior to that he put in a feed fir our induction hob - we’ve cut off our gas supply to go totally renewables electric). Dan installed a new circuit board to avoid having to completely replace the old board (saved us lots of money with that). All fuse spurs labelled sensible, installed thoughtfully. Minimal disruption to the internal fabric of the house. Chasing tools that capture 95% of the dust and debris. He clears up every day. Superb. He really knows his stuff. He works super hard and the job pushes on quickly. He’s great company too (I helped with bits and bobs) and a consummate professional. Everything was straight forward and efficiently done. Previously he’d installed an EV charger (Tesla) that has worked faultlessly for the last 9 months. All together Dan is your Man for all domestic installs, and much else I’m sure. I’ll be using him again for a solar panel install to charge a boat’s leisure batteries. 5 stars.
After few days of driving rain, my ground floor sockets tripped. I assumed that this was caused by my outside sockets being left not properly covered (by me). Called Dan, explained the situation, said it was not an emergency but I'd appreciate him coming soon. He turned up when he said he would and we talked through the situation. A bit of exploration and testing later, he found the fault, which wasn't where I'd assumed, talked me through what had happened, advised me of his suggestion, and we talked through it. It meant resiting a socket from a damp internal wall to a dry spot. At all stages he was clear in his communications. Checked with me what he proposed and explained everything. Cleaned up as he went, billed me a fair price, and was professional and friendly throughout. Couldn't recommend him more highly - I value clear communication, work to a professional standard, timeliness, honesty, and a fair price. Friendliness was a bonus.
