Truly world class as a whole. Layton is an incredibly skilled individual with a can do attitude. After many Electricion’s had said the job wasn’t possible, Layton and Matt had the entire rewire done within 48 hours.

I recently had Leighton from BS4 Electrical Services out to sort some tricky electrics in my kitchen in Brislington, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From the first phone call, Leighton was friendly, straightforward, and gave me a clear idea of what needed doing and how much it would cost no vague answers or surprise charges. He turned up on time (actually a few minutes early), was polite, tidy, and explained everything clearly as he worked.

I can’t recommend this company highly enough! He recently replaced my shower and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Leighton was punctual, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, made sure all the electrics were safe and up to standard, and worked efficiently without cutting any corners. The installation was neat, tidy, and completed to an exceptionally high standard. If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy electrician, look no further. They promised to come between 9 and 9.30am this morning. An electrical fault had cut out our boiler, so no hot water, no central heating. They didn't turn up, and I haven't heard a word from them.
Wow, what an amazing company!! I really cannot think of anything bad to say about them. Leighton, the owner is so kind, friendly and helpful, let alone being very knowledgable, efficient and experienced! His colleaque is the same. They removed a storage heater and installed an infarred heater instead and they did this in 40 minutes! They also charged me much less then other companies I got quotes from and they kindly said I could contact them again if I have any questions a tall. I highly recommend this company to anyone in the Bristol area needing any electrical job done and they will definately be the first electricians I choose next time. Fantastic guys - 150% work ethic, good fun, nothing too much trouble & they really really care - not just about the job in hand but about the people they work for. Clear communication & upfront costs. Call them! Ours started as an urgent job for my elderly mother before xmas to which Leighton & team responded immediately, rescheduling other jobs to attend. The situation escalated significantly as they uncovered major wiring damage in the walls. Their response was incredible, moving heaven & earth to ensure my mother was safe and taken care of and the job was completed. Total commitment. This man is outstanding!! He came out a and rescued my tenants on Christmas day when the power had failed to their boiler. He was incredibly well priced and was upfront about all off the costs before the job. He even went above and beyond the workaround we agreed on the phone and fixed it permanently. So many of other the emergency numbers spoof Bristol phone numbers and are really call centers that route jobs to local traders at a massive premium. BS4 Electric are genuinely local and will always use them in future.

Called this guy out with issue with electrics at home. He charged me £170, £75 call out and the rest for fault finding. He solved nothing and left, even took the front off the boiler with my agreement but left with it off. Asked 3 times for an invoice with absolutely no response what so ever. Don’t use ….

Leighton? More like Late ‘Un. Booked twice for an electrical inspection. Didn’t show up both times. DO NOT USE THIS ELECTRICIAN. HE’S AN ABSOLUTE WASTER!!! You are a lier!! You failed to turn up the previous Tuesday then offered Sunday as it was the only day you said you had free before Christmas. You don’t deserve any customers. You’re a waste of space and a waste of time!! AVOID THIS JOKER AT ALL COSTS!!!
Avoid using this tradesman. He’s proven to be extremely unreliable and caused far more problems than he solved. There are much better electricians around!!
Had an emergency call out. After taking to Leighton to get it booked he was at my property within 30 minutes of our call. He carried out the repair and was done within 30 minutes of him being there. The part that was fitted was broken but it was a fix that meant we had lights on in our house. He came out the next day and replaced the fitting with a new one at now extra charge. Leighton was incredibly friendly and helpful, I can’t recommend him enough. Not only that but also incredibly competitive price and great service! Will be recommending him to anyone in need of an electrician!

Leighton was a no-show to look at a job on two occasions. The first I had to chase him, and he told me he would visit us on another date, which turned out to be also a no-show. Text him 1.5 hrs after he was supposed to attend to remind him but no reply. EDIT: So his response below says he was 'burrying his mum' - thats not what he said at the time! Following the first no-show (without notice), he re-arranged to visit us in Weston-Super-Mare on Sat 4th October, as he planned to attend the local beach race. The race got cancelled, and he didn't show up. Coincidence?
Can not thank Leighton enough for saving us this evening, My power kept tripping during my daughters birthday sleepover and I could not get it to stay. Called Leighton, in a bit of a state (pregnancy hormons make me batty) and he was out within 40 minutes and got the power back on, he's an absolute life saver. Leighton was brilliant in sorting out a problem with the supply to the garage which meant my garage door wouldn’t open and I was stuck!! He even offered to help with my flat tyre! He also did a couple of other fixes around the place. Very personable and efficient and good at explaining what’s going on and what the solution could be! I contacted Leighton of BS4 electricals for a blown plug socket at my 92 year old mothers house. Not only was his response very quick and his work more than satisfactory and to a high standard. But what compelled me to write this review was the fact he stayed with her for a cup of tea and a chat and refused to charge her a single penny for the work carried out despite her insistence. A thoroughly decent chap and a rare reminder there is still good folk out there who will go beyond selflessly. Would not hesitate to contact again.

Totally unreliable. Hasn’t responded to any messages and won’t sent a itemised quote. Recommended a plasterer who arrived intoxicated and who harasses the customer for work. Look Leighton up on companies house - has changed company name several times and is overdue with his taxes. Avoid at all costs
I am honestly so impressed and happy with BS4 Electrical! Leighton has been nothing short of a miracle for us the past few days. We have had some builders in and on both occasions they have mucked up dome electrics, at one point leaving some wires in quite a dangerous state. Leighton was quick to respond and was able to fit us in very quickly and he gave us a great price. Such a friendly and personable guy as well. Great service. Arrived very promptly, late on a Saturday night when our house flooded and caused us to have a power cut. We were very worried as students renting from a student landlord but everything was sorted quickly.

Really impressed with Leighton and his team. We had an electrical problem over the Christmas holiday period that left our packed refrigerator without power. Leighton came out that same evening to help, then returned with two others to sort everything out the next day. They were hardworking, professional, and determined to get to the root cause of the problem, which they did -- and they resolved it in a minimally invasive way. BS4 Electrical Services Ltd were contacted late Friday evening, and Leighton came out really quickly on Saturday afternoon to repair 3 worn out light fittings in the hallway. He assessed the light fittings and replaced the broken ones. He also went above and beyond what was required today, by replacing broken light switches, installing new bulbs in all lighting and also taking down an old chandelier which was broken and installing a replacement light. Leighton also suggested testing the smoke alarms and put a new one that I had previously bought but was unable to fit myself. I really appreciate the time and effort that Leighton spent today, he was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Called gone 6pm due to an electrical issue that felt like it needed urgent attention. Call was answered and appointment booked in for the next day. Very professional and friendly service. Identified the problem and did some upgrades to the plug sockets and fuse box. Very rarely do you get this type of speedy and professional service from a trades person. Very impressed.

I booked BS4 Electrical Services to install some new kitchen lights and check and tidy old wires in the attic that needing inspection. I would gladly recommend them, they were extremely helpful at the initial inspection and the work was then promptly carried out only a few days later. They were professional, reasonably priced and the work completed was at an excellent standard. They left my home clean and tidy too, which was massively appreciated!

Called late Thursday afternoon and Leighton and the team arrived Friday afternoon (as promised). What we had hoped was a very simple fix turned out to be more complicated than anticipated so Leighton returned to personally complete the job Saturday afternoon. Recently moved to Somerset with my folks and the new house needed extra sockets in the rooms and one for outdoor use. Called up these folks and they came out quickly, very friendly bunch, explained all that needed doing, and they started work straight away. After they came back from lunch, they got us some fancy donuts which was so lovely of them. The new electrical panel looks great, and the new sockets are just what we wanted. Sods law after they had finished they're work and we're heading home our boiler wouldn't turn on, messaged the folks and one of the guys came back and sorted the issue out. I was really struggling to get an electrician near me in Bath who was willing to do a handful of jobs I needed done. Access and parking at my flat are challenging. Leighton was brilliant and completed all the electrical work quickly, neatly and without any fuss. All mess was cleaned up. His pricing was good and represented value.
