Over the last week, I hired Tony for two jobs, and he was fantastic. He's thoughtful in both his manner and his work, which is consistently to a very high standard. I received quotes from other electricians, and I'm glad I chose Tony. Rather than simply completing what I asked for, he took the time to understand my needs and offered several suggestions without any pressure. On both occasions, the end result was better than what I had originally envisioned. For any electrical work, he's the first choice I'll be calling on.
Tony was courteous, friendly, and hyper-diligent. During two days of work, Tony solved all problems. We had a new hob, kitchen tab, and bathroom fan fitted. Each of those had a tricky issue to solve. A healthcheck on our consumer unit, and the discovery of faulty and outdated RCD switches, saw us have those upgraded too. We now also have upgraded smoke detectors, which were out of date. We are extremely pleased with Tony's service and his skills, which are broader than expected. He's available for you to book privately or to use as a contractor. What a superstar! Tony replaced our shower unit, and although he came across some obstacles along the way, nothing was too much trouble. We now have a lovely working shower. He also stopped our kitchen tap dripping. I would highly recommend using SMY Electrical. Thank you Tony!

I had my old warm air heating system removed, new electric radiators installed and my fuse box replaced by SMY Electrical services. Tony was recommended to me by both a neighbour and by the manufacturer of the radiators themselves which speaks volumes. The work carried out was to a very high standard with no disruption (I was able to continue working from home throughout). All rubbish / packaging was removed and everything left clean and tidy at completion. Tony was even happy do a couple of other small jobs which we had not previously discussed within the cost of the original quote. Excellent service all round and I would not hesitate to use again.
Wouldn’t hesitate to use SMY Electrical Services again and would totally recommend. Done a great job of installing an electrical supply to our two garden sheds which included sockets and lighting. Tony is a very experienced electrician who is honest and professional. Will definitely use again for any electrical work that needs doing. First class service.

I was recommended to SMY Electrical Services a few years ago. Tony is a meticulous electrician and nothing has ever been a problem. He is an expert in his field and I have never had anything but kindness and expertise. He guided us to less expensive but more beautiful radiators when we remodelled our sitting room. When we remodelled the kitchen I had some concerns and asked Tony to attend a planning meeting. He made a couple of recommendations that made such a difference to us. He is prompt and if I’ve had an emergency he has always made the time to help. If its not urgent he comes within a day or so. I totally trust him and have no hesitation in recommending him.
