Andy replaced a number of single unswitched sockets with twin switched sockets. Despite brickwork appearing in unexpected places behind plaster board walls, the task was completed efficiently and to full satisfaction.

Sorted out a rather complicated wiring problem over two very helpful visits. Great personality and pretty good on price as well.

Blackwater Electric are now my go-to electrician! I employed Andy of to install a new induction hob as my existing was making noises and not working. He found that the wires were arcing in the junction box - so fixed that, reinstalled my original hob and therefore saved me over £600 and prevented the risk of a possible electrical fire.

Due to a delay of nearly a year to get the electrics done,other factors were at play here as I needed the garden dug out and armoured cable installed...Andy had to go ahead to change consumer unit and test throughout,connected the armoured to shed and garage and eventually found the kitchen fault which was only installed 15 years ago.The house wiring was very odd in its wiring from previous destroy it yourself owners,but he sorted it out.Now I've new house,she'd and garage units and a pass certificate.Would recommended.

After 18 months of cooking by candlelight Andy saved our sanity, and fingertips, by coming to fix our multiway kitchen lighting. Andy was very thorough and, having had more than one previous electrician replace our switch, he identified & repaired a broken wire in an additional switch which has restored full lighting to us for the first time in forever. Lovely chap; courteous, clean and commendable. Quoted accurately and was on time with a smile. Highly recommend him and will definitely use him for further work. A real pleasure to deal with someone who knows their trade and does an excellent job.

Andy kindly came to check a series of lights in our kitchen when we were having issues with them. He called me prior to arriving, letting me know when to expect him and then thoroughly checked each light for any issues. He also offered to check our fire alarms and fuse box whilst he was there. Andy came to remove a stove hood, which meant disconnecting from the power. He asl fitted two replacement five-foot LED tubes, with some new wiring which replaced two old fluorescent tubes .He did the job well and quickly

We came across Blackwater Electric / Andrew via Google when desperately searching for an electrician to fit our kitchen hood. The job was difficult due to the layout of our kitchen, others had said they wouldn’t be able to do the work, except Andrew. He came over the day before to assess the job, he was super lovely both in person and over the phone. Fortunately, he agreed to the job and promptly arrived to complete the work the following day. The task was seriously tough as it required metal cutting and he probably could have used an extra pair of hands, but Andrew did a great job by himself. He even stayed longer than expected without charge to ensure the job was complete and to the customers satisfaction. Afterwards, he kindly cleared up the mess and debris even though he had already stayed longer. Highly recommend, if you’re after a great electrician and an equally lovely guy. Always try and get local expertise when seeking specific traders. In this case, I needed a replacement electrical item sourcing and replacing. Our circuit board tripped at night and we could not get it back on. We recently moved to Sandhurst and didn’t have any electrician contacts so searched on Google. We called Andy fully prepared to go without electricity for that evening and expected call out the next day. Instead, he took time out of his own evening to understand what had happened and asked us to explain what we were seeing on the circuit board. He walked us through step by step how to reset everything and within 5 minutes we were back on. Didn’t stop there, he then gave us advice on how we could test what had caused the trip ourselves at home to figure out the problem before calling anyone else out. No surprise his business has 5 star rating! He had no obligation to help us during his personal time, but he did anyway. It’s people like this that make it very easy to trust and rely on them.
