Reviewers describe Eccles Electrical as arriving when expected and often quickly for call-outs, with Joe named by several as polite and professional. Several reviews mention work left tidy or with no mess, and a number describe jobs including kitchen lighting, garden lights, a kitchen rewire and fault-finding. One reviewer says Joe fixed a fault another electrician could not solve, and another reports Joe sorted problems left by previous electricians. One reviewer says Joe gave the cost of the callout up front and sent a digital invoice on completion.
Prompt response, arrived on schedule, excellent tidy electrical work I trust. Would use again and recommend.
Came home to no electricity. Contacted Joe at Eccles electrical & son. Joe arrived within the hour. He identified the fault (DCR switch faulty) and replaced it. He also fixed a faulty kitchen socket not related to the original fault. I found Joe to be very polite and professionsl. He provided the cost of the callout up front and provided a digital invoice on completion. I found the charge to be very reasonable. Work was completed neatly and with no mess. I will definitely recommend Joe to friends and family in the future.
Great service from Joe. I rang for an emergency call out on a Sunday evening. Joe arrived in 40 mins and resolved the issue at hand. polite, freindly and professional, would recommend and call again.
Googled Electrian near me, and Joe come up in the search. I read the reviews, and customers had good feedback about his work. I emailed him on Friday evening, asking about putting lights up, and we were exchanging emails till about 9pm. Booked him to do the job, and very glad I did. Lovely person, very professional, and already booked him to do more work in my bungalow. I would 100% recommend him to family and friends. 5 star rating all day long.

Top quality & reliable 🙌🏽
Joe was so helpful and great, couldn’t recommend enough!
I had the good fortune of hiring this electrician for several jobs, including some installation work and some tricky fault-finding. I can honestly say his professionalism and skill are exceptional. He was punctual, showed up exactly when he said he would, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. Most importantly, he solved a problem that another electrician just couldn’t crack. I’d highly recommend him to anyone in need of an expert electrician. Thanks again for the great work!
I recently had Eccles Electrical come out to do some work at my house, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They arrived on time, were professional and courteous throughout, and explained everything clearly before starting. The work was completed efficiently and to a very high standard, with great attention to detail. What impressed me most was how tidy they left everything afterwards—no mess at all. It’s rare to find someone this reliable, and I’ll definitely be calling them again for future projects. Highly recommended!
We were very happy with the job that was undertaken, replacing our kitchen light fitting. Joe was very responsive, polite, punctual, and competent, and charged a fair, affordable price. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend you choose this company.
Joe’s work was excellent and very thorough. He even came back the next day to finish up. I would definitely recommend the Eccles Electrical team — thanks, Joe!

Honestly can’t recommend Eccles Electrical enough! I’d had such a nightmare with previous electricians who overcharged and left things unfinished, but these guys came in and completely sorted everything out. They were friendly, professional, and did exactly what they said they would. Everything’s working perfectly now and I’m so relieved. Wish I’d found them sooner! :)
Had my kitchen rewired by Joe and I’m really pleased with how it turned out. He got on with the job, no fuss, everything was done properly and left tidy. Solid work and fair price, I’d happily get him back for more jobs. thanks
Had Joe round to sort some wiring in the house and I’ve got to say, top job all round. He’s one of those people who just gets on with it, no drama, and you can tell he actually cares about doing it right. Everything’s working perfectly now and he even tidied up before he left. Would happily recommend him to anyone.
