Ben came out an did an electrical test on a house we'd just bought, and gave us quick feedback. We went through work we wanted to have done, and he provided a very competitive quote for: Installing a new cooker hood. Moving and adding additional sockets. Removing and plating off removed sockets. Removing defunct wires. Installing dimmer switches. Replacing ceiling lights, installing ceiling pendant lighting. He was able to start the work within a quick time frame, arrived on time and worked really efficiently. He called/messaged me with any issues and worked around a few quirks of the house as they came up. I'd totally recommend Ben, not only was his work of a very high standard, but he was also professional, friendly and honest- no additional hidden costs.

Leicestershire Electrical Services sent out Ben to complete the EICR for the property I am in. On time, and personable from the get go, it was a pleasure to meet Ben. He works well and in a spritely manner. Communicated thouraghly throughout the EICR completion and, when time allowed, is able to carry a conversation/social interaction, which is becoming quite rare in this day and age. Ben did a very good job and I will happily have him back in the future to overhaul some lights in the property. I would recommend Ben to both private and business customers.

We had Ben out to replace a consumer unit, fit new lights in kitchen and bathroom and a new extractor fan. Bens quote was really reasonable and fair given the work needed and he was prompt in getting it sorted. Communicated really well with us and got on with the job. Ben had to tackle a variety of electrical jobs. He took the time to explain what needed doing and how. I was given a quote, followed by a date to start work. He arrived on the day and time as arranged. Work completed: * Fitting down lights in several rooms, including replacing cable where necessary * Rectifying poor fittings on Hive and hot water pump connected to the hot water cylinder * Refitting broken RCD socket * Fault finding within the ring main circuitry * Fitting and setting up external cameras including demonstrating how to use them Ben has extensive knowledge, he was able to accomplish the work in good time and effectively. I would HIGHLY 100℅ recommend Ben from Leicestershire Electrical Services. We had a stairwell chandelier fitted but the stage fitting was not flush with the ceiling. Ben came to my rescue and rectified the problem. Communication through the whole process was excellent, workmanship first class, really thoughtful attention to detail, competitive prices, and was really patient with me whilst I was rummaging for the correct light bulbs; also not forgetting the removal and refitting of the chains for the crystal balls. I’ve used Ben a few times now and he always delivers! Most recently I needed him to come out with a days notice to adjust a light switch for my plasterers and he found the time to fit me in and sorted everything out for my plasters. He even managed to get my outdoor light fitted to help me avoid needing to call him out twice. Very dependable, reasonably priced and very good on the phone he responds quickly to texts and gets times and dates to you and sticks to them. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician. Feel very lucky to have stumbled upon this chap!

I contacted Ben after a friend had used him for his EV Charger Installation. After sending Ben some pictures he determined what was need and supplied a quotation and explained everything. On the day of install Ben arrived on time again explaining everything he would be doing. Ben’s work was very professional and the cable routing was neat and tidy. Blackburn Electrical have completed three jobs for us now with each one being done on time, minimum fuss, neat and well priced. The last job was an emergency switch replacement related to our hot water tank and this happened on Christmas eve, not only did Ben come out with a couple of hours, he liaised with a local plumber once he isolated the electrics and found a leak so they could do the rest. All of this while we were on a Santa train with the kids, brilliant service!! Highly recommended.
