I had an old mixer tap and bath trim removed and replaced. There had been an extremely excessive amount of silicone used around the taps and under the bath trim by the previous plumber many years ago. Lee painstakingly had to remove all of it before he could begin to do anything else. Lee was very thorough, friendly, considerate and fair on price. Lee has been utterly amazing . I’ve had a blocked drain in one of my holiday let houses . I called dynorod first who said they could come and after waiting for a call back for 2 hours they said they couldn’t come for 2 days . I called two other big drain companies who also couldn’t come for 2 days . I’d used fantastic trades before for an electric job and they were brilliant then but I didn’t realise they did drains too until I saw their name on my google search and rang immediately. Lee literally came out within 2 hours and has properly sorted the drain blockage at a very reasonable price and cleaned up so well afterwards you couldn’t even tell he had been . Called Lee out as an emergency Saturday morning, having got water coming down the wall from bathroom upstairs onto the gas boiler in the kitchen, he was here in under an hour, found the issue, repaired the seal around the bath, job done in just over an hour. On discovering a drip from pipe work above our central heating pump I was concerned that our heating system would fail and that an electricity short circuit might occur. On telephoning Terrific Trades Lee, one of their engineers, arrived at my house within half an hour and immediately undertook the required remedial repair which has been 100% successful and has given us the assurance that a major problem has been avoided. Lee was most efficient and courteous and I will have no hesitation in recommending his company to anyone who has a problem with their installations.

After showing off my drilling skills to find the exact middle of a power cable behind a brick wall. Blowing the main fuse to the house @5.30pm on a Saturday we needed a bit of a miracle. Called in Terrific Trades and he was here within 30 mins and all fixed within an hour. Bit of a geezer and an absolute gent. Cannot recommend Lee enough, he should be your first port of call. Hopefully won’t be drilling through anymore cables soon but he’s now on speed dial just in case . Legend.

He quickly found the source of the problem which turned out to be caused by an issue outside the property. Tldr; Handled some electrical and gas inspections. Were very responsive, professional, reasonably priced and all done in a timely manner. Would definitely use again and recommend. I'm currently in the process of purchasing my first home and believed there may have been a few issues with the age of the wiring and heating systems. It was really handy to find a company that could handle both aspects of the checks. Terrific Trades were very responsive to my needs and questions. They sorted all the arrangements with the estate agent and were able to get everything checked out very quickly. On completion they got the reports back to me with a few helpful suggestions which I really appreciated. This has helped take some of the worries off my shoulders being a first time buyer and hopefully will help me negotiate a better price on the property. I had a power cut in my house on Saturday night. There wasn’t much hope of getting it fixed promptly. I found this company on Google, called them and they had an electrician sent out to me within an hour. He was very professional, experienced, with can-do-will-do attitude (as opposed to some who keep saying hmmm... I don’t know.... maybe this, maybe that). All was fixed within 20 minutes and explained to me. More work is needed because the electrical board has to be replaced asap, and they managed to book me in for Tuesday, i.e. in just 2 days. Usually you expect to hear hmmmm.... we are busy until September, we’ll get in touch nearer the time. Overall, the experience so far has been very positive. I would certainly recommend to use this company.
