Spencer arrived on time, took the time to discuss the installation options, answered all of our questions, and made sure we understood how to get the most from the charger once it was installed. I’ve used this electrician for a number of jobs over the years and wouldn’t consider using anyone else. Most recently, he replaced a faulty exterior light and also installed an additional light using the existing power source, both controlled seamlessly from the same switch. The work was completed to an exceptionally high standard, exactly as always. Images included to show the before and after. What really stands out is not just the quality of the workmanship, but the professionalism throughout. He is always punctual, impeccably mannered, respectful of the property, tidy while working, and completely trustworthy — the kind of tradesperson you feel comfortable leaving in your home. Communication is excellent, nothing is too much trouble, and every job is approached with care and attention to detail. It’s rare to find someone so reliable, skilled, and genuinely pleasant to deal with these days. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for electrical work done properly and professionally.

Have used Spencer now for many years and wouldn't dare look elsewhere. A master of his craft and a credit to the profession.Cant fault.

Second time we have used Spencer (EV charger in the garage last time, timer for our towel rail in an en-suite this time). Really pleased with the work, wouldn’t use anybody else now to be honest, many thanks.

Spencer responded quickly to my inquiry and quoted for various electrical work in our home, including replacing the consumer unit, installing some additional sockets, downlights and nest smoke detectors, Nest Thermostat and Ring outdoor light cameras. The quote was competitive and so he returned to carry out the work, to a very professional level and taking care to leave our home clean and tidy afterwards. I've used Spencer for two EV charge installations and lighting work and he is brilliant. So professional, tidy and does great work. A true professional. If you need an electrician I can highly recommend.

Spencer is extremely professional, calm, tidy, trustworthy and exceptionally knowledgeable. He was recommended to us by several Farnham neighbours and he has been absolutely brilliant. He visits initially and listens carefully to the jobs you require doing. Shortly after he sends a clear and user friendly quote. He was able to offer flexibility on his available dates and completed the work (new pendent fittings and lights, new down light fittings, new outside censor lights and cameras and wired in our Ring doorbell.) We cannot recommend him highly enough and will definitely be using his services EVERY time we need any electrical work doing. Thank you again Spencer!

Its rare these days to come across a tradesmen who ticks ALL the boxes as does Flow State Electrical. This was Spencer's 3rd visit to our home, outdoor security lighting, internal bits and pieces, installed power to my 'Man Cave' aka the shed and today a smaller job to the outside, money I wasted in others previously as Spencer was quick to point out safety issues. What can I say about Spencer?, just an honest meticulous electrician, who takes a great deal of pride in the service he provides to the customer, whose persona is one to have the pleasure in your home, just a nice guy. Let Flow State Electrical be your 1st point of contact, you are in safe hands.

Spencer installed my EV charger and was fantastic. He was superbly professional and did a very neat job. I can't recommend him highly enough!

We used SLJ Electrical for a full rewire of our new home and couldn't be happier. Spencer was very approachable, kind and has had great communication throughout the whole process. He gave us a reasonable quote and then started the work quickly. Moreover, Spencer is very tidy as he works, cleaning up as he progressed through the work. Finally, the quality of his work has been amazing, very happy with the result. Would definitely recommend him to friends or family.

Had spencer round to install an EV charger, talked me through what would happen and options and provided a very good quote. Works were completed the following week, turned up on time, was tidy, polite and didnt mind my dog following him. Cant fault the work, looks neat and all works as id expect. Helped me set up the app and made sure i was comfortable with everything from the new CU to the charger. Top service. Nice bloke. If i need electrical work in the future would not hesitate.

I have used Spencer twice now, and will continue to use him for Electrical work. He is well presented, clean and tidy in his work. His communication is good and advises the best way to accomplish what is needed, and his end of job invoices are true to his quotes.

We wanted to change our 20+ year old Consumer unit and asked for some quotes. Spencer responded quickly with a competitive price. After discussion with Spencer and asking for his advice, I changed the choice of unit to ensure future proofing. Spencer was able to carry out the work within days of our conversation. He was very professional, arrived spot on time, did a very good job, tidying up and removing unnesessary wiring and additional old redundant box. Spencer was a pleasure to have in our house, and clearly knows his stuff. Without asking, he labelled our 15 RCBO's, and left our house very clean and tidy. We will not hesitate to use Spencer for any future electrical needs, and would recomend him to anybody looking to get electrical work done.

Spencer is a very competent electrician, I was extremely satisfied with the work he did for us. Initially he had done an electrical inspection and gave us a report detailing work to be done to correct about 15 C2 and C3 faults. He returned at a later date to do the required work and the invoice he gave us for the work was exactly the same amount as he had quoted to us following the inspection. All in all it was a very good experience.

Efficient and tidy work

I engaged Spencer to install an EV charger at my home.He surveyed the location, provided me with an acceptable quote and installed the charger as promised. Problems arose because the charger required a connection to the internet via WiFi but the unit itself could not connect despite the strong signals immediately adjacent to the charger. Spencer spent a considerable amount of time and effort, including changing the charger unit, to try and get to the bottom of the problem. It turns out that the charger unit was unable to decide which WiFi signals it wanted to choose so decided on none of them. It was only when an comms specialist joined in and recognised the issue that the problem was fixed. None of this was Spencer's fault but he lived by the price quoted despite it taking twice as much time. For me, this above all, defines Spencer as one of the best. He's also pretty knowledgeable on the latest applicable standards. I would have no hesitation to recommend him for any electrical work.

Spencer came and discussed the work I required and provided a thorough quote. He carried out the work professionally and I’m very happy with the outcome. I’d highly recommend!
