This is the first time I’ve felt that a 5-star rating isn't enough; if I could give Chris 500 stars, I would. We were in a desperate situation needing a full house rewiring. Unfortunately, the first electrician we hired took our money, worked for a few days, and then completely ghosted us. In the midst of that stress, we found Chris. Initially, I was a bit hesitant because he didn't have many reviews. However, I soon learned that he is a veteran electrician with years of experience who had only recently started his own business. After watching him work for just a few days, all my worries vanished. Chris is meticulous, professional, honest, and incredibly careful. Above all, he prioritizes what is best for the house and the homeowner in the long run. He stayed with us for quite a while, handling not just the full rewire, but also EV charger installation and various alarm systems. Even in situations where he could have taken a shortcut to finish faster (which most people wouldn't have even noticed), he took the time to explain the options and let us make an informed decision. He is a deeply thoughtful and hardworking professional. The difference between the previous electrician’s work and Chris’s was night and day. Chris ended up correcting all the previous mistakes. His attention to detail is remarkable—for example, he encased all wiring in conduits to ensure a clean finish for the walls and added metal plating under the floorboards to protect wires in high-traffic areas. These small, thoughtful touches speak volumes about his standards. Although the rewiring didn't include plastering or painting, he went out of his way to teach us how to do it ourselves and even recommended reliable builders. His general knowledge about house maintenance is vast, and he shared so many useful tips with us. Despite the invasive nature of a rewire—drilling holes and lifting floorboards—he was extremely careful to minimize any damage to our home. We are currently doing a ground-floor extension, and we told our main builder that we won't use anyone else for the electrical work but Chris. That is how much we trust his skill and integrity. Living in the house during winter renovations was tough, but Chris carefully planned each day and always made sure we had heating and hot water by the evening. He kept everything clean, organized, and safe—something we’ve learned not all tradespeople do. He’s reliable, thoughtful, and highly professional. We now trust him completely and wouldn’t want anyone else handling electrical work on our home. The only downside? He’s set the bar so high that everyone else now gets compared to him. Highly recommended.
