I can’t thank Drain Surgeons enough for the level of service we recently received. Flo and the team were incredibly professional and proactive but also extremely kind and empathetic. With a house sale hanging in the balance due to unreasonable demands from the buyer, they scrambled to expedite the survey we needed alongside other quotation work and I couldn’t be happier with the standard of service, the speed, and the professionalism of the office staff, surveyors and site inspectors. From the very first moment, she showed nothing but kindness, professionalism, and efficiency. Within 45 minutes, an engineer called Lucas was already on-site—unbelievable response time! A payment promise was arranged quickly, and the service was excellent value for money. The engineer Lucas who attended was not only highly competent but also an absolute gentleman. He ensured the issue was fully resolved before leaving, all within a three-hour window. Flo and the team at Drain Surgeons made what could have been a stressful situation seamless and reassuring. my kitchen waste pipe was blocked, called them within 30 minutes Engineer Victor Revadavia came, and fixed problem. he is so kind, and helpful. definitely recommended.

I had a blocked drain from the kitchen and a Man named Tony came round to unblock it. I have had an issue 4 times over the last 10 years and had other companies out to fix it but they didn’t do a great job, but Tony has done a better job then any of the previous visits from other companies, I watched him in and throughout and he has drained and cleaned the pipes to the best I have ever seen, the amount of build of grease and oil and whatever stuff that he cleaned out was amazing, a stand up chap, great work ethic, will definitely be using your company in the future.

Monday evening external drain blocked, flowing onto patio. Engineer Tony Murrell came. After some initial investigations and testing, together we located the neighbour as the drain access. Then Tony was able to swiftly clear the blockage, which we subsequently, successfully flushed through. All good. Cause was identified as probably due to a relocated drain access point, which resulted in a pipe diameter change, so a place for debris to dwell. Check the rest of the drain, looked in great condition, as we have water softener. Good discussions together throughout. Thank you Drain Surgeons!

Had a slow draining kitchen sink and Flo explained how they would go about finding and removing the problem and how the pricing worked. She made sure I had enough time to move things so that the team would have the access they needed. Lukasz arrived on time and we talked through the issue and he systematically checked and cleared all the pipes, explaining everything as he went, until he found and removed the problem. He also cleaned everything down before he left. I can highly recommend the team.

I have just had a shocking experience with them. I had booked with them days before and they confirmed me with a time . How ever on the day where I messaged the owner to find out if they are coming, he denied confirming a time. I referred him to the chat which he had given me. Somehow the chat escalated and owner made it clear it was his business, cancelled the work and said they will not come . I was still in shock on processing how quickly this happens and how owner got angry and just cancelled the work which I had to postpones some works for them to come to prepare for my sons birthday Very unhappy, as an interior designer who does a lot of design cleaning for my client I would not recommend them. This job was for me and it was to prepare the house for a birthday and this experience totally ruined it .

Customer of Drainsurgeons for about six years during which time I have found the staff friendly and helpful. I have been struggling with Parkinsons Disease during that time and have been most impressed by the service provided - emptying a large cesspool.

Would 100% recommend. After being messed about by another firm I came across Drain Surgeons on Monday evening, contacted them and got an emergency job booked in for draining of our septic tank. John arrived at 9am the following morning and promptly got on with the task at hand cleared the tank and unblocked a drain. After moving into a new home with multiple drainage issues and unbelievably poor responses from the developer, Dean of DSL and his excellent team responded quickly to our request for which they treated as an emergency. Their assistance using their state of the art equipment, within hours had all drains unblocked, cleaned and working all in order, making the new home livable and odor-free. Highly recommended especially with the ever growing housing developments in Dubai. Again, many thanks to Dean and his team.

Ringing around drain unblocking company’s in a panic after our garage flooded from a backed up drain, drain surgeons straight away said they could help. Monika made the process quick and easy, and victor turned up within 2 hours of calling. He was polite and friendly and happy to speak to me about the work he was doing. Price very reasonable aswell. If we ever are in a similar situation again this is the first company I will call.

Top class service from Victor, would highly recommend. Victor came out on the early May bank holiday within 2 hours of my call to fix a blocked outside drain which was close to backing up into the house. Not only was he incredibly thorough (fixing the flow in all outdoor drains), but his cleanliness was immaculate, he was polite and respectful, and he even took the time to entertain my 3-year old by talking him through his work and letting him look down the manholes (my boy was so impressed, he has been pretending to fix blocked pipes in our house ever since!)

Contacted to ask for a callout. Was told because I contacted last time and cancelled ‘within 30mins might I add as it was not our side of the blockage’ was told I would have to wait a week because of cancelling. straight attitude on the phone as soon as she said oh yes you called before. Then getting spoken over when trying to explain the reasoning. To then be told ‘she did not say I would have to wait because of cancelling she never said that. Have been removed from site emergency contact. Everyone has a bad day but don’t answer a call with attitude and not to expect it back.

Great service by Dean and his team. We had an issue with drain smell. Him and his team moved their schedule around to accommodate us before the eid break. They did a thorough review of the issue and provided me with detailed understanding of where the underlying issues were while cleaning. Would really recommend these guys. Don’t waste your time with others. They might be on the pricier side but it’s always better to pay once and be done with it than doing it several times with others.

Excellent service from Drain Surgeons. Our appointment was very quick and easy to arrange. The lady I spoke with in the office listened to what our concern was with this particular drain and then arranged a suitable inspection appointment to suit us. She was also very helpful in ensuring we were getting the right service. We received updates letting us know where the engineer (Ryan) was in relation to arriving. Once onsite, Ryan listened to our concerns regarding the particular drain and then performed a detailed inspection showing the exact state of all the feeds into this particular drain as well as inspecting it through to the main sewer. He was very thorough and agreed what would be sensible to do to solve the problem and then ensured that we were happy with what he had done. As there was still time left, Ryan then checked all the other drains on our property just to be sure that there weren't any other problems or issues that might come up in the future. We are delighted with the service we received and I cannot rate Drain Surgeons, and particularly Ryan highly enough. I would absolutely recommend them to others and will definitely use them in the future should the need arise.

We used drain surgeon in one of our rental in Reading. We received an invoice with a job description where time was entered for 1.5 hours. We were sent an invoice to pay for 2 hours. We contacted the tenant to confirm the timings and asked Drain Surgeon to provide evidence as this is a "fraud" when you are invoicing for the extra hour when you have not done the work. When we challenged Drain Surgeon and spoke with Helen Brock, she replied saying our claim as a "fraud" was a false statement. We told her we had CCTV footage confirming the engineers' in and out time. She remained dead silent and had no reply. Luckily we could see in the CCTV what was done and how long the engineer was there. The engineer should be sacked for raising incorrect invoices and overcharging the customer. This is fraud and it appears the company did nothing for this kind of behaviour. Is this the practice of your company? This is not acceptable. All landlords should be aware of these practices. We will not be using Drain Surgeon anymore and don't recommend it.

Ok these people are brilliant. Was a bit taken aback at the upfront fee but it’s callout PLUS first hour combined which makes it reasonable. Victor was excellent - fixed blocked drain very fast and stayed to do a further inspection to see what future remedial action could be taken - as I’d paid for the time already. Definitely recommend

Great company from start to finish. From the first phone call, to the job on site they were so professional. Had a small cesspit that needed to be cleared and I was really worried as we live on a farm. There was no need too, super professional and manoeuvred themselves round the farm like a pro. Even the farmer was impressed he didn't have to tow him out and it takes a lot to impress him.

Very much recommend this company (Ryan & Victor). Firstly in July 2023 Ryan came out as an emergency as our drains were blocked and toilet filling up. We had a young baby and didn’t want to be ripped off but their pricing seemed very reasonable. The company were prompt and helpful and Ryan worked fast to unblock our outside drains and clearly identified the problem. Then in February 2024 my mother had a blocked outside drainage identified on a survey and we suggested she used Drain Surgeons - Victor worked quickly to unblock and fix it. You think when you buy a new house that the drains should be clear? Well that's not the case in Dubai. I'm very happy that I took the advice of a friend of mine to call up Dean and book an appointment to come check our drains. Extremely educational by sharing knowledge about the system we have and impartial in advising of the correct course of action to be taken regardless of money. Really friendly and professional and I would recommend to anyone who has any issues with their drains to spend their money here! An absolute must!!!

Highly recommend Drain Surgeons, they did a fantastic job re-lining our cracked clay pipe using blue light technology. They were polite, efficient, cleaned up after themselves and the staff in the office always helpful and quick to get back to you. We had 3 or 4 quotes to do this job and Drain Surgeons were the best for price and skill and offered blue light technology which no other company quoted us for.They saved us having to dig down and replace a pipe. I called and asked if they can fix my saniflow toilet as they claim they can unblock any drain. thy said they may not be able to help. When I asked if they unblocked any drain as they said. Drain surgeon went to to say they can send an engineer out but have to charge call out fee. We as customers knew nothing about drain and how to fix, so we were hopeful when they sent an engineer. Engineer came and immediately said they can't help. While the company knew at the very beginning that they couldn't help but still took customer's money. This is DISHONEST and UNETHICAL as they didn't give us any advice to turn elsewhere yet still send an engineer out. I know that things get difficult these days, but this is not how you took money from other people's pocket.

Called this morning for an emergency septic tank draining. Dave the engineer was very friendly and went above and beyond to serve us fast, as we are relocating tomorrow. From the office to the engineers, Drain Surgeons are overall fantastic.

Installing a new sewage treatment tank to replace existing non-compliant septic tank - Justin and Aaron, have done a fantastic job. I cannot praise them enough, and your backup team as well, the electricians and the tanker driver etc. Professional: Everything done correctly, documented daily, made safe continuously. Careful: This was tricky access, but the guys were so careful to avoid damage and keep things clean. Personable: Such nice guys, a pleasure to chat with them and understand what they were doing. Job well done: It works fine, and by the time they have finished they will have repaired the lawn, brought in new topsoil and grass seed, all of which are beyond my expectations. Value for money: I got 5 quotations and you were the lowest by far. But the standard of work is impeccable.

I called Drain Surgeons Ltd at 9.30am Monday because my loos weren’t flushing and sinks not draining. I thought my sewage tank needed emptying. Seb turned up in his tanker before 11.30, saw the tank was far from full, and the treatment system and pump were working well. So he set about looking for a blockage, which he found and then dealt with very quickly. He was brilliant - really helpful, explained everything well and was clearly determined to sort out any problems before he left. The office staff were all very good too. Whole service quite exceptional.

We had a complicated job site which required, multiple tankers on site during night works. We have worked with Drain Surgeons before and contacted them regarding these works. They arrived on site early and went straight to work as soon as the traffic management was in place. They worked tirelessly throughout the night to complete the works without issue. DO NOT USE - Terrible Service. Have a drainage issue with my septic tank. Have charged me 3 times and not helped with fixing the issue. Call handler is patronising. Despite being told the manager was not available, he miraculously came on the call and said he had heard the whole conversation?! His reponse was for me to find someone else. Having 4 young children in a house with drainage issues is clearly not a matter of priority when their own team didn't book my appointment in as promised. Customer is not right in this establishment. I was made to feel as though they were doing me a favour when in reality I am paying and asking for an issue to be fixed.

I was quoted £155 to empty a septic tank with payment in advance. I made a booking and received an invoice for £185! so I made a booking with another Co.for 3 days later. Be warned that as soon as you book a visit, they will pepper you with demands for payment, irrespective of when the appointment is due. After the visit they will inundate you with demands for payment, irrespective of whether you have paid or not because it's easier for them to send you an automated email than it is to actually check to see if your payment has been received or not. We moved house 2 weeks ago and had already had 2 other drain companies and 3 visits to try and sort out a blockage with no Luck. Stuart and Bee took the time to explain what they would do and answered all our questions. My tenant uses Drain Surgeons for regular emptying of the septic tank, on the last visit they reported that the two manhole covers were damaged / missing and didn’t have proper frames installed. As an overseas landlord it was extremely helpful to be provided with a written report containing clearly labeled photographs of the areas of concern and a fixed price which seemed very reasonable. I authorized the work and asked for the earliest opening in the schedule, when i followed up a couple of days later I was informed the work had already been carried out and was emailed a report of the repairs again with detailed photographs and no changes to the fixed price. I am extremely happy with the service, the quality of workmanship, the no hassle way Drain Surgeons coordinated with my tenant, and the interaction with the head office manager Luke, who dealt with everything, and once complete, provided various options for payment, which again was much appreciated being an overseas client. This company took over from another company I have used for a number of years. The prices for emptying the septic tank had gone up from last year (the old supplier) from £120 to £145. Quite an increase from October 2019! The operator was very pleasant and the job was done well and in a timely manner. There was a slight problem with the bill which they claimed was sent through but I had not received anything within a week and when I received the first chasing telephone call, I provided an email address and the bill was paid in full within 2 hours of receipt of this bill.

They did a good job and were helpful on the phone. Driver was a nice bloke too.

From the registration plates on the vehicles to the attitude of the operatives Drain Surgeons are 100% focused on delivering (or should that be removing) what the customer needs. Informative, professional, tidy, and making sure that the job gets done. Our tanks had not been emptied for at least 35 years, but probably not for 60+, and were jammed full. The 1st tanker was one of the smaller vehicles, but enough was eventually sucked away for the drains to no longer back up. The second vehicle was bigger, and we spent some time just trying to get up close to the building, even before work began. The guys spent as much time as was needed to get the job done, with no time watching, and persevered when things looked difficult. Living on a pedestrian only island in the river Thames it can be hard to get services such as septic tanks emptied. Luckily as a community we were able to hire Drain Surgeons who were able to run very long pipes over the bridge and to empty our tanks. Pipes would easily have had to be 500 meters in length so not an easy job. Very happy with the service. Thanks!

Having suffered problems with our septic tank (blockages/soak-away not soaking away) we called Dean at Drain Surgeons and, having talked through the options, decided on a new sewage system which was installed quickly and expertly with minimal upheaval, and the ground was made good after the new system had been installed. We had a slight niggle with the system about two months later and Dean was out immediately to sort it out to our complete satisfaction (turned out to be a sticking float in the pump mechanism). I have found all the staff very polite, knowledgable and happy to help and have no qualms in recommending the company.

Great communication and service - Living in a large old house in the countryside has its downfalls. One is a complex drain system that has been extended and altered over the years. Nov 18. Don’t often review companies but felt the service given deserved to be shared. Excellent and professional service. We needed an urgent drainage report with cctv footage of our neighbours to support a party wall award. Emailed them at 10pm along with 2 other companies. I received a response within 30 mins from one of the directors setting up a call the next morning at 8.30. Called in the morning, quickly answered and arranged for them to come out the following day at 8am. They arrived promptly, were professional and courteous. Did the job promptly and got the written report and video evidence back by lunchtime the same day. couldn’t have asked for anything else so would use again and recommend. Amazing! Dean was utterly determined to get to the bottom of my blockage despite the apparent impossibility of this task. He would NOT be beaten and was utterly charming as well. Eventually solved - a most unusual discovery - the builders who had built the sewage system had deliberately rammed concrete into one of the pipes to block it. (Bowers from Cheltenham - avoid like the plague as they also cut earth wires on radiators they installed - deliberately again.) Dean spent much longer than he'd quoted for, used much more gear than he'd quoted for and didn't ask for any more than he'd quoted for (although of course I did pay more - which he was touched by). Of course Dean will be my first port of call in future and I think deserves an OBE for his superhuman effort, good humour, generous spirit and total decency.

I had a slow flowing drain. I called one contractor, who turned up but didn't have the right equipment to clear it. I called for a blocked drain. All the water was pushed back into the house and it was really nasty. Called the Drain Surgeons and it was my best decision. Had a great response. I was made aware of the cost and no hidden costs. Being a Sunday we were expecting and outrages fee, but not so. Communication was great and I was kept informed all the time. 5 minutes after the arrival the issues were resolved and the blocked drain was cleared. The agent stayed until we tested the flow of the drain and we cannot be happier. Again there were no hidden charges. This man deserve the 5 stars as he is a credit to his profession.
