We recently used DGS Services for a septic tank soakaway project and couldn’t be happier with the work they carried out. Communication was excellent from start to finish, they turned up exactly when they said they would every day, and the whole team was friendly, professional, and hardworking. They kept disruption to an absolute minimum, cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, and completed the job to a very high standard. Fantastic service by Dan to clear a complicated internal blockage which was stopping any water from draining from my en-suite. Other drainage companies were not interested to help me solve the issue, but Dan stepped up and through camera investigation and careful jetting, the blockage was cleared. Cannot recommend highly enough! From the initial call/message, Dan responded within the hour, assessed whether it was an emergency (it wasn't, we had a blocked toilet), we talked openly about price and availability. Communication was excellent assessing our availability and their's, and he let us know the next day when he was 40 mins away. We had tried multiple methods to clear the blockage, different plungers, tools, and products, nothing worked! Dan and his team resolve this in a matter of minutes, really showing the level of skill and experience required to get the job done!

An excellent job. On their first site visit for an estimate, on a new connection to a mains sewer, they made some suggestions that changed the design and saved thousands on the job. They turned up when they said they would and worked hard to complete the job, even staying an extra day when the water board failed to turn up for the sign off inspection and came the next day. Dan and his helper installed a soak-away, it seemed there wasn't a proper one there and I had been getting a fountain of water from the top of the drainpipe in heavy rain due to blockage. Neat professional and efficient job despite non ideal weather and all done within a day. All surplus soil taken away. The photos are during and after job was done. I was impressed that Dan carried grass seed and seeded the area on completion, a nice touch.

Dan came out to look at my drainage system after my building survey highlighted a potential issue with standing water in a drain at the back of the property. His communication was great throughout - he was up front about the prices from the start, arrived promptly as agreed, and was friendly. He advised that part of the service we had agreed initially was not actually necessary, and he did not charge me for it - which was much appreciated. Great service!

Dan and Lee have just completed a complex drain job for me. The communications were very good and the job was done well and on time. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Had a tricky, labour intensive and potentially dirty job that needed doing. Before we had a kitchen installed, we required a new waste pipe and manhole installed, to link our downstairs cloakroom to the existing waste pipe which is about 9m away. Always a bit sceptical of people in the building trade (soz), and knowing it wasn’t an easy job, I did expect to be charged over the top. I contacted DGS, Dan, the managing director arrived for a look. He was personable, honest and knowledgeable. He gave me a quote within a few days, it was roughly what I had expected, for this type of work. I gave Dan several different start dates, due to some challenges with the kitchen installers I had to change dates. Dan was accommodating and flexible. The day arrived and despite having to tackle old foundations, more concrete and rubble Dan and one other colleague took about 3 days to install a manhole, waste pipe and bathroom/toilet drain fittings. They were respectful and easy to get along with. I don’t plan on having anymore drainage doing, but I would definitely recommend them.

Dan and his workmate Lee solved an issue we’ve had with flooding to our property thanks to the poor state the road and pavement is outside our house. The council resolved rainwater pouring off the road down our drive but excess water was funnelling off the pavement too. Dan installed a raised curbstone to the top of our drive and this has stopped the front area of our porch from flooding in the recent stormy weather. A friendly guy who worked efficiently and takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend Dan to offer you solutions and ideas for any groundwork you need doing at a reasonable price and will definitely call on him again for any future projects we have.

Great advice from Dan at DGS to find the best options in solving flooding at the side of my property when it rains heavily. Along with his colleague they worked hard to get the job done efficiently. Daniel quoted me to sort an issue with our foul drainage piping. Unfortunately, I went with another company as their quote was slightly lower bit they have caused me undue amounts of stress and a bill of possibly 2.5 times their estimate. Even though I didn't give Daniel the work he has been incredibly helpful in helping us out, giving free advice. My lesson is to just not look at the bottom line to try to save a few quid but gauge honesty and integrity which DGS have clearly shown me.

We have used Dan and his team on three occasions to rebuild a damaged gate post and two flint walls at our Victorian house. The first wall repaired was a retaining wall section that collapsed following a period of heavy rain. It was repaired as a priority due to the collapse interfering with the traffic on a busy road. Dan and his team arrived on site when they said they would and proceeded in a timely manner given the weather conditions prevailing. The repaired wall is a good match with the rest of the flint wall and has been favourably commented on by our neighbours. Overall we found his team reliable and there were no extras added to the quoted price.
