Recently had my gable end repointed and couldn't be happier, the work is of an exceptionally high standard, the quote was very reasonable for the work that was done, all completed in a timely fashion, Scott was great to work with, very knowledgeable and always happy to answer any queries, above all a very friendly and considerate chap who takes great pride in his work, would happily recommend to both friends and family
Scott has been brilliant from start to finish. I received a quote to fix up one of our shared chimneys which was wonky, cracked on one side and the flaunch needed replacing. Scott was warm and friendly, sent us a quote promptly. We ended having a pause for a few months but we returned to Scott for the work. The scaffolders he found came promptly and was professional and of course Scott and Glenn themselves were absolutely brilliant. We live in a period home that needs the appropriate materials used and Scott knew exactly what was needed. The work itself is sublime and very well done. We have already had more work quoted and hope to return next year once we’ve saved up a few more pennies
We used G Hudson Brickwork for repointing work and the replacement of some spalled bricks on our property. The price was very reasonable and the work was carried out to a high standard with minimal disruption and mess. The team were very easy to deal with, and provided recommendations on any wider work to be performed. We would highly recommend for similar brickwork projects.

I am very pleased with the work that Glen and Scott have done with the repointing of the brickwork on the side of my house. Scott and Glen have just rebuilt mine and my neighbour's boundary walls. The long single brick wall is now a double brick. The small capped wall is back exactly as it was. A brilliant job all round, started on time, finished on time, great pair of blokes who clearly take a lot of pride in what they do.

Second time using G Hudson Brickwork & Pointing Ltd for doing repointing and brick replacement works on my old Edwardian End Terrace House. First time round having got a few quotes I found them to come in at the best price, but most importantly I felt Scott came across as very experienced in the field, sharing ideas about how to do things in a pragmatic manner, whilst still ensuring quality finish. As it turns out that is exactly what was delivered, hence I had them back for a second job. The proof of the quality of their workmanship lays in the results. My house, like many terrace houses was built originally with Lime Mortar, but at some point this had been replaced with cement, trapping moisture and causing significant damp issues. Having had Scott and Glenn do the repointing with lime, by the time my plasterer had come to do the internals he found the wall to be "bone-dry". On a final note, Scott and Glen are great guys. Clearly enjoying what they do and each other's company. Unknowingly, they have rekindled my love for the Jungle music that they were playing whilst doing the job!!
We have used Glenn for previous work on our house without issue. However, the recent work fell way below the standard that we expected. Brickwork was not built to the drawings and was of poor quality. Some of the work needed to be rebuilt, causing lengthy delays and additional costs. We will not be looking to use him again.

Scott and Glenn have just finished a whole repoint of my 118-year old house. They have done an excellent job, and have been extremely flexible, trustworthy and professional/courteous throughout. The cost was exactly as quoted before the job started, and completed right on time. They have cleared everything up behind them and arranged window cleaning in the aftermath. Glen, Scott and Louis repointed a large portion of my house. Scott was great to work with at the quote stage - thoughtful with his ideas, helpful with my questions and polite. Glen, Scott and Louis did a great piece of work itself. The pointing is neat and thorough and the work was carried out very efficiently. They also did lots of little touch up jobs as well as a couple of gables without fussing over extra charges. Overall very happy with these guys, they're good, trustworthy and I'd ask them back again if I need any more brickwork!

I had Scott and Glen do a series of works on my 1960's build house which is in a conservation area with Article 4 (so some of it was a bit tricky given the age and location). It was all absolutely excellent quality craftmanship start to end every single day. They take pride in their work and are lovely people with a great sense of humor. The quotes I recieved were spot on every single time. It was a very smooth process where they kept me informed and walked me through everything start to finish as to how they would set about the work. The level of honesty, integrity and trusworthyness was superb. My neighbours were so impressed with their level of detail, care, speed, efficency and courteousness that they also requested work done as well. I have absolutely no hesitation in reccommending them to anyone or having them back to do any other work in the future.

Scott and Glenn built over a hundred metres of garden wall for us this spring. They did a really good job, bricks layed in Flemish Garden Wall Bond with bricks of differing sizes, not straight forward. The finished job looks great and we are really pleased with it. They are very easy to work with, Scott does most to the organising and he is a very good communicator. They did the job for a very fair price and made sure we were happy before we paid.

Contacted Glenn for a quote on a retaining wall we required. Glenn popped round to have a look within a few days and provided a fair quote considering some had been astronomically high! Had some repointing done with this company. Kept up to date with timescales and when they would be on site. Work was completed on time (given the weather doing its best to ruin it) and site was left clean and tidy afterwards. No complaints at all. Would recommend.

Got in contact. We found Mr. Hudson to be someone who turned up when he said he would, priced the job at a cost that was fair and was helpful when offering advice. We proceeded with the work to be done. Mr. Hudson did the job in an afternoon and the outcome was excellent. He repaired our front porch and it looks excellent. We can strongly recommend Mr. Hudson - he's a nice fella and good at his job. We will happily use his company again.
