He even tried to be considerate with noise after learning I work nights which is a real bonus. Overall he's been lovely to have around and I definitely recommend.

Dan was everything you would want from a a tradesman. He was prompt in all aspects, from quotation to completion of the job. Other than the fact that the new plaster is visible you wouldn’t know he’d been. Won’t hesitate to use Quay Point again, or indeed recommend them.
Provided a very competitive quotation. Turned up on time and was very professional through out. Very please with the work, he explained what was required and did a great repair to the damp course.
Dan arrived on time and worked consistently and expertly for 4 days. Once the damp plaster was removed, silicon was injected into the wall to form a new damp course. A welded mesh was then placed behind the new plaster board to make an extra water barrier. Once complete, the treated areas were cleanly plastered and left in alignment with the existing walls. The place was left clean and tidy, just like it was before he arrived. Dan was professional and courteous at all times and I would most definitely recommend him for your job.
From his initial assessment of the problem it became apparent that Dan is an expert in his field.We had damp mould and dry rot under the floorboards in part of our Dining Room caused in part by faulty cavity wall foam insulation allowing damp to breach the outer and inner cavity along with blocked airbricks so compromised ventilation. Dan explained in laymans terms the procedures which needed to be performed and the timescale to achieve the desired result.His work was to a very high standard and we feel secure that all the correct actions have been performed.He works hard and achieves a lot in a day. I would recommend his services to anyone who needs either plastering or work to correct damp issues in their property.

Damp proofing a dining room in a Grade II listed house. Very competitive quote and Dan knows the rules and regulations concerning listed buildings. The whole job was explained clearly, Dan's knowledge and workmanship is first class. He cleaned and tidied up after each day even cleaning and polishing the wooden floor once the work was complete. Danny's work is simply outstanding and I cannot thank him more for doing a 1st rate job. He arrived as planned, got straight to work and worked like a Trojan throughout the day. He covered everything with dust sheets, ensured any mess was minimised and cleaned any spills quickly. When Danny had finished he made sure that I was happy with his work, explained what would happen with the drying plaster and advice on painting. Two days later the plaster is completely dry and I cannot believe how smooth the walls are of my Victorian bedroom. In summary, an outstanding plasterer and simply the best!
