Croft Preservation Damp Proofing Specialists

Can’t fault the team at Croft - they were extremely polite and helpful when surveying the work and providing honest advice. The work was carried out efficiently and the room was returned to normal on completion. More competitively priced than other local companies!

I run a property management company and been working with Croft now for 5 plus years Great service, great team and very efficient Can’t complain !

I can highly recommend Croft. They came out to sort out a rather bad damp issue in our house. All the guys were lovely chaps, reliable, friendly, knowledgeable and treated our home with respect for the week they were here. Very satisfied customer

Happy customer alert, 100% recommend. From initially booking in the quote, to managing the diary and then completing the work, the whole team at Croft were a pleasure to deal with. They were informative at every stage and always on hand to answer all the random questions that I had. Thank you to Lindsey and the whole team. Joe and Charlotte

Just had the below window wall of the bays in two rooms treated for rising damp. (House over 100 yrs old) Efficient approach to the problem. Kept fully informed and detail explained. 3.5 days of work and excellent approach by the workman. Friendly, tidy worker and all looks good. Work guaranteed. Easy to recommend. Thank you.

Verycsatisfiedxwithvthexwork completed.

Planned work delivered on time with very careful and professional staff who did a great job. No reason to doubt the long term solution to a rising damp problem. The company was recommended to us, and we recommend to others.

Wood worm treatment loft void. Invoiced as quoted. Communication clear. Arrived when they said they would. Clean and tidy worker.

Communicative, flexible and responsive when dealing with spraying the house with wood boring beetle solution. Would use them again!

An outstanding and professional company from the very outset to the completion of the work. The quality of the damp proofing has been excellent and the staff amiable and efficient. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

Efficient service, polite and friendly staff, completed work to high standards

I cannot fault this company for carrying out the woodworm treatment in a professional , proficient and polite way. Their emails were concise and there were no hidden extras. The price was very reasonable with a 20yr guarantee. I would use again and would not hesitate to recommend.

A fantastic experience with Croft, we had some damp proofing and woodworm treatment on the house, in all 4 workmen were involved across 4 days, all turned up on time, were polite and respectful of our home. The finished job was better than expected. Arranging the work was super easy. I would definitely consider using Croft again for any future works.

I would definitely recommend Croft. They recently treated various parts of my house for woodworm. They arrived on time and completed the treatment with minimal disruption.

I have recently had a damp course done by Croft Preservation. I highly recommend this firm. I was given a quote and a start date was arranged. The men arrived on time and spent two weeks at my house- they were brilliant efficient and tidy and made the experience so much better than it could have been. Special mention for Richie and Russ who were amazing. I am so pleased with the results. Also thanks to Lewis who made it all happen. Big thanks to all of you Jane

First class service very reliable and a great service. They carried out all the work and cleaned up to a high standard.

Croft is a fantastic company. They carried out some damp works in our bungalow back in August 2024. They were polite and friendly and worked efficiently, keeping us updated throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend using Croft for any damp related issues.

Very poor impression blocking a private driveway of 5 vehicles all day because walking extra steps to the pavement is too much, had 3 guys onside smoking and chatting all day, less than professional language and behaviour along with some recorded comments likely to be passed onto the authorities as a hate crime...well done guys 👍

Great customer service. Quick and efficient

Great customer service, noticeable experience when it came diagnosing the issue and providing a remedial treatment. The works were executed in a professional and timely fashion. Thank you Croft!

Didn’t turn up when they said they would and then they didn’t follow up, had previous work done which only partly solved the problem and was quite expensive.

Friendly team and their customer service was excellent and the work was carried out as promised and in a timely manner. I’d decided to hold off leaving a review until winter, as the passive air vents were fitted in the summer and the true test would be after winter. Unfortunately I haven’t even had to wait until after winter to know the vents they fitted haven’t worked. Not even fully into winter yet and today, I’ve woken up to extensive condensation on all the windows in the flat, including in the bedrooms where the vents were fitted. I wish we’d also been made aware of the fact that outside noise levels would be increased because since the vents have been fitted, we get even more outside noise from the main road and have had to deal with disturbed sleep on top of that. I understand Croft cannot guarantee the passive air vents will fully work, but it appears they haven’t even made the slightest difference. In retrospect, I wish we hadn’t wasted the money getting the work done and instead put the money towards new windows with trickle vents, as it now looks like that’s what we’ll have to do in order to avoid another winter where all our clothes and bedding and furniture go mouldy.

Arrived on date arranged carried out survey advised results would be sent by e-mail within 2days no results received to date or any contact made whatsoever, NOT GOOD

Contacted Croft to book an appointment the team were very friendly and the customer service was excellent. They came out to see me and gave me full confidence in what we discussed and the report they gave me. Work booked in a carried out the operatives were polite and very clean and tidy in my property. The Croft team made what could have been a stressful experience very manageable. Can’t speak highly enough.

Not impressed. Extremely rude customer service. Will not honour the guarantee on their poor workmanship. Very disappointed with the experience received to date.

Excellent service and great advice

Really pleased with their service. They sorted out my condensation issue quickly and efficiently and every member of the team I had contact with was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Worked with Croft for a few years now and they have always provided good prices and quality work.

Stay well clear of these cowboys!!!
