From the beginning to end of quite a complex process, he has been amazingly supportive and always willing to go the extra mile, also charging incredibly reasonable prices for the time he has been willing to devote to the project. Honestly the most rude and unhelpful customer service I’ve ever come across. I Emailed to get a quote based for comparison on a property I am purchasing based on home buyers and damp surveys I had recently completed and was turned away as they do not give quotes based on other companies surveys. They also told me that they would not be able to help me for weeks. I then asked for a ball park figure so I could at least see if it was worth waiting the weeks they were busy for and they told me it would be unhelpful to any party involved to do so. It just seemed like they couldn’t care less about helping me or taking my business.
Michael visited our dental practice and wrote a very detailed damp survey explaining all the issues with the building. When I compared it to other companies, his report stood out as it explained everything whereas other quotes we recieved just had figures written down. When on site, Michael and his colleague were extremely professional and provided a high standard of service. They took time to protect items in the room from dust and made sure the room was left how it was found. They kept to time frames, and were mindful of staff and patients in the practice. I would highly recommend Michael and his team.

David Caplin and his team at Guardian Damp Proofing Ltd provided an excellent damp proofing service to the ground floor of my house. Most of the work was done in 2012-13, and now over 5 years on no damp issues have returned to any of the treated areas. David gave clear explanations and kept me informed of progress. He and his team knew what they were doing, and were always very courteous and professional. They kept the work areas and surroundings clean, and minimised dust effectively. The re-plastering was also outstanding. Another company might provide a cheaper quote, but of the other companies I considered none persuaded me that they had adequate knowledge or skills, and that included some large companies. A 20-year guarantee was issued. Based on my experience with David and his team I recommend them highly for damp proofing.

We had our entire basement gutted by Dave, Michael and their team. They completely cleared all the damp and finished the rooms to the exact specification we required. Would highly recommend Guardian Damp Proofing as first class builders who were a pleasure to deal with.
