Alex and his colleague Matt were employed to address damp issues that had become apparent on a number of internal walls in a kitchen extension and corner of a loft room. Alex came and took a look and quickly turned around a comprehensive and clear quote which we discussed and it was clear Alex is highlg experienced and expert and knows what he is doing. Alex and Matt turned up on time, undertook the work quickly, efficiently and professionally within the 4 days they said they would and were careful to clean up afterwards and try and minimise mess. Called Alex in for some advice came next day to inspect property was told no damp in walls just condensation advised us what to do to overcome problem. Alex was just very kind and very informative with information no charge made he knew what he was talking about we would definitely have used him if we had to just so nice having someone with so much knowledge and not trying to rip you off for work that was nit needed.

We recently had a new damp proof course installed by Atruss in our kitchen. From the initial visit and quote to completion the service throughout was of the highest quality. We were kept regularly updated as to progress and of particular note was the attention to detail and the accent on keeping tidy and protecting the surrounds in the kitchen (as far as possible). We were very pleased with the result and would have no hesitation in recommending Atruss to anybody with damp problems, however small.

It should be 6 stars really. My house has a rising damp issue. Through Google search, I found Alex of Atruss Perservation. He was so good and excellent in sorting out the damp and also burst pipe damage that I have to give him a 6 stars rating not just 5 stars. He and Dan, his assistant, are excellent in skill, very professional with brilliant quality of work, hard working and reasonable price. I count myself lucky to find him to work in my house. Lastly I am very pleased with the end result. Alex, you are a true star.

Alex and his colleagues provided a really quick turnaround time installing a damp proof course and re-rendering. This was a great value service, and Alex was great with communication and very reliable. He sent over a receipt and guarantee in really timely manner and the quote I received was informative and helpful. Alex and his colleague were lovely and professional. Put back the skirting boards as before and left everything really clean, I could leave my furniture in the flat as they covered and protected everything. I called Alex about a problem with rising damp in our Victorian terrace in south London and he came the next day to do a survey. He sent a quote very soon after and offered a good price. He was very responsive and completed the work on time and for the agreed price. I can’t fault Alex on the work he carried out, which included removing the existing new plaster, injecting the damp proof course, sand and cemented the walls and then re-plaster. Alex was very tidy, covering all floors as well as our brand new kitchen. He certainly helped us out in short notice to keep our kitchen on schedule. I would definitely use Alex again and would highly recommend him to anyone else.
