I recently chose Stonehouse Waterproofing to install a comprehensive tanking system, even though I already had a watertightness guarantee from CementAid. Their good reputation among previous customers, along with recommendations from basement builders and architects, gave me confidence in my decision. Stonehouse is a professional company with a well-trained and efficient crew. I am pleased with the service they provided and would be happy to recommend them.
Really disappointed with how things turned out. I originally had waterproofing work done by Stonehouse Property Care in 2018, and they returned in 2023 to carry out remedial work, following a complaint in early 2022. A few months later I've experienced water ingress again. They visited in late 2024, opened up the ceiling, and investigated — but since then, I’ve had no report, no explanation, and no follow-up, despite several emails and even formal letter. What’s most frustrating is that in 2022 they failed to identify the root cause, even after multiple visits. I ended up figuring it out myself within minutes — something they should’ve done, especially given they claim to be specialists. Honestly, it’s a bit humiliating for them. I expected more professionalism and accountability, especially with the work under warranty.
Personable and professional from start to finish. If you live in an old property which can suffer from rising damp I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stonehouse to identify and rectify the issues. Great team with great communication throughout. Thank-you!

Just had our third annual service of our pump and always really happy with it. Martyn is great, called to let us know he was a bit delayed and he's always really respectful of our home and does a great job. Recommend.
Recently my buyer instructed this company for a survey on my house before the sale, The surveyor fund a resing dump in the lower ground floor in the cellar area, they told my buyer that to sort the problem out she would spend between 20-30 thousand pounds We instructed another company to investigate the problem and they found that the tiles that cover the outside stair were all broken and when it rain the water will infiltrate in the cellar area below. All what it needed was a new tiles on the outside stairs for a fraction of the cost quoted.

These guys are great experts. I had damp issues which another company failed to fix. They came over surveyed the issue and fixed it all for a reasonable price I would recommend them to anyone having the same issue
When everyone around us was telling us what they couldn't do with our Cellar flooding, we were blessed to discover Stonehouse Property Care, and the MD Graham Stone, who came to see the problem personally and reassure us that he knew what to do to both address the water ingress, but also then design and Install the necessary PCA compliant Waterproofing Solution to protect going forward. They couldn't be more professional - everyone we met during this process was long serving, unbelievably conscientious and extremely hard working. The office staff were so helpful. The engineers always arrived on the days they said they would, and in fact would always arrive before the agreed start time of 8am, which given the distance from their office to us meant very early starts. After working flat out from 8am-4pm the team assigned to this project would go back to the office for a debrief with Graham who maintained oversight throughout. Graham we salute you - you were invested in us from the word go and we will be forever grateful. Quality of the work is 5 star and the finish exemplary. Special call outs to "our team" of Jac & Jay (the day of the hand mixing of 85 bags of cement will never be forgotten !) and Jimmy the plasterer who all went above & beyond the call of duty. We would recommend Stonehouse 100% - the personal touch & reassurance throughout this Waterproofing process was second to none.
Drivers from here are very aggressive and irresponsible. Driver was cutting in and out and hogging lane for ambulance. Time of incidence 3pm 2 Feb 2023 at location 51.49170° N, 0.29639° W. I would trust this company if all their drivers are like that.
