DNA Pointing

I can’t recommend Dan and his team highly enough, communication was spot on, they arrived on time, were polite, friendly and did a great job! Perfect 🤩

V good service from Danny quick and efficient and highly recommend!

Dan was brilliant and helped us repoint around our front door after we had sandblasting completed. He was very prompt with his responses and even provided example pictures before the work began. He even fit us in before our arranged date as he was in the area and helped us fix another damaged area at the front free of charge. Much appreciated would recommend and use again!

Dan did not ask me to write a review, but I am taking the initiative here because of the exceptional quality of the repointing work he and his team just completed on our house. Dan, Andy, & the rest of the team came when they said they would, kept us informed throughout, finished on time and on budget, sorted some issues with the roof and the window seals, and did all the work to such a high standard that even I can tell it's good. It actually looks like a new house! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Danny and his team at dna pointing have carried out re pointing of the gable end on our grade 2 listed building. The workmanship is exemplary, and is sympathetic and in keeping with the building. They were friendly, professional and excellent time keepers. Danny himself is aimable and a pleasure to have on site. The team went the extra mile to complete the job. We would definitely recommend him and his team. A huge thanks from David and Marie, Cheshire.

Really pleased with the work that Danny carried out on my property. Great communication throughout too. Would recommend.

I’m absolutely thrilled with the pointing work and clean gutters too. Dan worked very hard and professionally.

DNA Pointing repointed the back wall of my property recently and it now looks neat and very smart. Danny and the team are dedicated to the job, thanks again!

So pleased with the work it looks absolutely fantastic . And thanks so much for being so lovely and thoughtful you really went the xtra mile and that was very much appreciate and valued. I will definitely recommend you 💫💫💫💫💫 Great job I’m delighted 🤩

Danny and DNA were excellent! Danny came around early evening to look at the job, and I felt comfortable giving him the work within the first minute, and at 59 yrs old I've homed my radar. They put such detail into their work, also I wasn't even aware they were there most of the time, they were so well mannered in general. Danny communicated well from the start, even about the scaffolding details. He did so many little extras beyond pointing I couldn't list them all, and all in the original quote. If you need work doing DNA can cover I can't say enough to give these guys a go and I'm sure you'll be writing a similar review to this one.

Danny was fantastic from start to finish. He responded quickly to my initial email and arranged a visit to discuss the work. He listened carefully and captured all my requirements. The next day, I received a detailed quote with reference photos, and his communication remained prompt and professional throughout. Danny and Aden arrived within a week to repoint the front garden wall, the house front, and other areas. They were punctual, polite, and respectful, and their workmanship was outstanding. The site was left spotless, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Top job—highly recommended!

Very happy with the pointing work done , looks fantastic

Danny came along to have a look at a job for me. I appreciate this honesty in his approach, pointing out what he felt needed doing rather than what I suggested (which actually helped scale down the job for me and cost). He sent me regular updates whilst I was at work with videos and photos which help me keep track of the work. End result was excellent, and I’m very happy to recommend him.

I found Danny and his team excellent to deal with. Really competitive pricing, very punctual, hard working and professional. To top it all off their craftsmanship was second to none. I cannot recommend DNA Pointing highly enough!

Danny gave excellent value and comms, and with Aidy, they were prompt and respectful of the property. Chimney needed repointing to stop fumes escaping where they shouldn't. Whole chimney sealed and pointed and looks and performs much better than before. Would use again for pointing jobs. Thanks guys.

Dan at D n a Pointing was professional and provided a fast and competitive quote followed by clear communication and prompt start time. I am delighted with the finished work using traditional lime mortar and so are my neighbours. I would highly recommend! Thanks Dan!

Dnapointing was recommended to me by a friend. We needed some brickwork replacing and a wall pointing and patio flags regrouting. We received a favourable quote and date for the work. The lads arrived on time, got on with the agreed work, cleaned up any mess that was made and completed the work on time. They did an excellent job and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing this type of work.

I would highly recommend dnapointing. Danny was exceptionally helpful, polite and professional from start to finish. As a female it's very difficult finding female trades people and firms for our jobs... sisters take note ;) ... I felt completely at ease with Danny and Aiden working in and around the property, the standard of work was high and the approach was professional and compassionate. I would definitely use dnapointing again. Very comfortable working with a good internal compass and an attitude of over and above.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Danny. He repointed our chimney today and his work is amazing. He really cares about what he does and it shows.

Danny repointed our old stone outbuilding in April 2025. He was polite and professional throughout the engagement and I am DELIGHTED with the end result. It is in keeping with the period and an immaculate job. I think the job was fairly priced too. I have recommissioned him to do further work on the main house. Thanks for the great service. Highly recommended.

After contacting Dan he came round and quoted for my job assuring me that he quotes for any sized jobs. Dan pointed, removed and replaced brickwork and added steel rods. He explained everything that he was doing which stopped me worrying. Dan did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Danny was very professional and did great work!

Danny repointed the front and back of my house in lime and I was really nervous about the whole process at the start. He was great at reassuring me that everything would be ok. And it was! My house has received many compliments since the work was done. I would recommend Danny and would use him again for any future work.

Work was carried out to a very high standard. Kept me up to date as when the work would be done. Very happy and would definitely recommend to others.

I contacted DNA pointing as my front and back of the house was in serious need of help! After meeting Danny I knew he was the guy for the job. He explained everything to me and assured me even more when he showed me the projects he has completed. Danny and his lads impressed me the day they started. They were all tidy and respectful to the neighbours and their work was second to none. One of the best and polite tradesmen to have at your property. Thanks Danny.

We contacted Danny after seeing how good his repointing was on our neighbour’s house. We thought it looked good and contacted Danny for a quote. He was professional and courteous throughout, and the job he did was great. Really good value for money too.

A prompt response from enquiry The work carried out was to a high standard and great communication throughout

Danny and his colleague pointed the front and back of our home back in April 2023. They were brilliant guys and did a great job, any pointing job is messy but Danny always left the place clean and tidy each day. I can honestly say that if I need any pointing done again in the future I would use Danny. Barrie Vickers-Croombs 😎
