I'd highly recommend Mike. He was friendly, worked solidly and did a wonderful job on the carpets. I've got 5 dogs and cream carpets, which is not a great combination in this weather, but he managed to get the carpets looking great.

Mike is an honest and reliable business owner and service provider. There are not so many of 'these' about as we'd all think, or want. We found Abbey Cleaning via an online search for 'Carpet cleaning Romsey' and we contacted 3. 1 didn't reply, and 2 did. We chose Mike because of his almost immediate replies to our emails, he didn't ask for our phone number saying "it'll be easier for you if we can phone" ... Mike dealt with our enquiry in the way and manner that it was clear we wanted. No pushing, persuading, upselling. His estimate based on my inaccurate description of our daughters new house, was very competitive and his final invoice was equally so. I emailed Mike 2-days before he was going on holiday. He would return from holiday 3 days before I'd booked him to clean the carpets in Shelley's house. When he returned from holiday I had to postpone the appointment. Despite the fact that he'd moved another customer's appt to fit ours in, there was no shouting, moaning, complaint ... just a simple, very polite reorganising of the date. We even offered to pay Mike as if he'd completed the work on to the original schedule. "Don't worry about it" he said "I'll invoice you after the job is done. On the day he turned up to the minute as he'd agreed, he was really nice and his manner put our daughter at ease about having a stranger in the house when she was alone. Mike left the house with the carpets looking and more importantly smelling, fresh and clean. A great job, we'd recommend Mike to anyone, and everyone.
A fantastic service from Mike at Abbey Cleaning! He was prompt, polite and made sure to do a thorough job on our sofa. So pleased with the results- it looks like new! Would 100% recommend if you need carpet and upholstery cleaning
Would highly recommend. I rang Mike first thing in the morning regarding a carpet stain and he was round to have a look a couple of hours later. Unfortunately it was determined the stain couldn’t be removed but he had a go and didn’t charge anything for a call out fee or for his advice. Will be coming back if we ever need anything else in future!

Very friendly and professional. Sofas and rugs lovely and clean afterwards. Noticed part of our carpet that we weren’t having cleaned and our door mat were a bit grubby and cleaned them free of charge. Would definitely recommend!

I engaged Mike to perform a wet clean of the carpets in our house. Mike was helpful in preparing a quotation quickly and agreeing to additional scope during this period. On the day he arrived and progressed with his work with minimal fuss. Upon conclusion of the work he had cleaned areas that I had identified a very dirty and left the house in a tidy manner. He removed all waste at the conclusion of the work. The price was as agreed beforehand. I would use Abbey Cleaning again.

Would deffo recommend Mike, very easy to make a booking and worked around our work schedules. Very prompt with his timekeeping. The sofa needed a good cleaning as years of leaning on the arms had taken its toll on the colour, Mike rejuvenated both of our sofas and they look as good as new. Highly recommend Mike, great communication, easy to book in with, prompt. Very knowledgeable and listened to what we needed, which was a good clean of very well used carpets (dog as a puppy had had accidents and cats. Carpets were given a great clean with professional equipment and chemicals and deodorised. We are delighted with the results and will definitely keep on top of our carpets by booking in at least yearly with Mike. Thank you for the great job, it’s made a huge difference to us. (Photos show shadows from furniture- not marks on carpet.) Also bonus being super dog friendly which helped our nervous dog.
