We are absolutely delighted with the work Ben has done for us. He created a beautiful bespoke fitted media/display unit with oak slatted panels and lighting, as well as a custom under-eaves storage unit, and the finish on both is exceptional. The attention to detail is second to none, and the units look like they've always been part of the house. Ben was reliable, punctual, incredibly hard-working and always kept the work area clean and tidy at the end of each day. We’ve used Ben’s carpentry services for a few weeks now & he has completed various jobs on our building project. From fitting new skirting , architraves to fitting a new kitchen. I’ve known Ben for a number of years, dating back to when he was an apprentice carpenter. Watching his journey from apprentice to business owner has been incredibly impressive. Ben made a set of gates to go on the side of our house. He did an excellent job with the gates and I’m sure they will last for many years. Communication was very good and he was very helpful.
The first job we asked of Ben was to remove the old and install new shelving in our storeroom to allow room for two e-bikes to be securely housed. He carried out the work efficiently and well, to our complete satisfaction. So we asked him back for the first part of a series of works we have been considering for a while and we weren't disappointed. He installed some new bespoke shelving in two cupboards, re-hung our kitchen door so it now fits perfectly including a new handle and a brand new bathroom door with antique brass styled fittings which now looks great. Again efficient and friendly, Ben makes sure everything is cleared away, clean and is always considerate of our property. We can recommend Precision Woodworks and Bens' quality of work, adaptability and genuine friendliness. Thank you. Looking forward to the next stage later this year (2026).
Ben did a job for me in the bungalow’s attic , which presented a few challenges. He was able to fix the problem and make everything fit perfectly. Ben is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and a very skilled carpenter. He made a difficult job look easy, and the final results are great . I would definitely use his expertise for any future jobs. We asked Ben to provide a quote to change an oak door from a right-hand to a left-hand opening, and shortly afterwards he came round to carry out the work. From start to finish, Ben was incredibly careful and a true perfectionist. The new oak door was fitted and varnished to a better quality than the orijgnal. The standard of his carpentry was exceptional, and the way he made good the door frame was flawless — we were genuinely amazed by the result. The workmanship was nothing short of perfect.
