He arrived early, worked incredibly hard, and was very organised and professional throughout. His workmanship is excellent. We feel really lucky to have found such a good local carpenter. I recently used JD for hanging multiple internal doors. Jon was prompt in attending to assess the job and providing his quote. He was punctual, friendly and curteous throughout. Despite a couple of product delivery issues he found a way to make the job good. He even went the extra mile to source more astetically pleasing door stops! I would definately use JD again.

It was our lucky day when we employed Jon the Carpenter to do work for us. I needed cupboards built in a small space in the toilet room to cover a small water heater/tank and another small space left for maybe another cupboard for a few towels and some toiletry’s. I had know idea how I wanted it to look. So Jon gave me ideas and suggestions and I went ahead with them and I am so pleased with the outcome, he has used every area available to cover and provide shelves all enclosed behind doors. A rare craftsman with incredible standards. Tidy, polite, punctual. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Mostly used for built in wardrobes abut also used his magic on our front door.
