Mac building renovated the downstairs of our Victorian terraced house in Balham and I could not be happier with the outcome. Oren and Jack helped guide us through the whole process, when initially we weren’t sure what we wanted exactly they talked us through all the options and helped us make decisions. They also pointed us in the right direction for all suppliers. They and the rest of the team went above and beyond in all aspects of the renovation. We lived in the house during the 3 month renovation period and the whole team were so friendly kind and considerate. Hugo, Macs plumber even scaled our roof at one point when I thought we might have a roof leak (which had nothing to do with the renovation project!). We are so grateful for the fantastic job they did.
I engaged MAC to convert a flat roof into a roof terrace. For them it was a relatively small job but they agreed to do it nonetheless. The entire team at MAC were excellent in every regard and did a truly fantastic job. In addition to the work product itself (which was 10/10), they’re also all top guys who are pleasant to interact with on a day to day basis. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

I have a flat opposite where MAC are working on a big project in Tooting and found myself rather stuck when we had some kitchen surfaces delivered that were just too heavy for us to get upstairs or fit in the lift. He was so so kind and helped my husband get these monstrosities up two flights of stairs. Absolute lifesaver, I honestly don’t know what we would have done if he hadn’t helped.
MAC just finished a full house renovation with a roof extension for me. I had never done a renovation project before and heard so many terrible stories about unreliable builders that I was braced for a challenge. But my experience with MAC couldn't have been better. The team are professional, responsive, respectful, knowledgeable and flexible when the inevitible hiccups arise. Their quality standard is very high and they all seem to take real pride in doing the job properly. I particularly appreciated their communication. I always knew what was going on, what needed doing on my side to keep things moving, and where we were in terms of timing and budget. I am currently renovating a house - I had a good feeling about Ben/Mac during the tender process but they were a bit more expensive so we went with another building company. I deeply regret that decision and wished I had followed my gut... worst decision I made in 2020. I have since found out Ben is honest, knowledgeable, reliable and generous with his time.

We contracted MAC to build a wrap-around extension in SW London. Ben and his team were great to work with throughout - they have a great work ethic, easy communciations, and delivered on cost/quality/budget. MAC Building Solutions recently renovated our house, including building an extension, a new garage, replacing the heating, plumbing and electrics and refitting the kitchen and bathroom. I cannot speak highly enough of Ben and his team - the extensive five month project was completed on time and on budget to a very high standard. Throughout, Ben was responsive and flexible and worked with us to suggest a couple of smart alternatives to the architect's original plan that were more practical and saved us money. The snagging list was short and minor, and even after the final payment, there was no problem getting someone round to address them. In summary, Ben and his team are a pleasure to work with and our experience with them was the opposite of every "nightmare builder" story. I'd recommend them unreservedly.
MAC Building gave us the best build experience in London and we have now had a few. Ben and his team are awesome professionals. They did a high quality job, turned up on time every day, were very communicative and did the job within the 10 week build time estimated. We are super happy with the end result. If you want an outfit with serious building expertise, and who understand building is a stressful and intrusive experience, and will do all they can to minimise that for you, then use MAC Building. We had a couple of issues arise outside our control and Ben sorted them out in a calm and managed way. I would use MAC Building again without hesitation and highly recommend them.

Ben and his team had a lot of input into design elements of the build and we are really pleased with how everything came together. The project was completed on schedule and to a very high standard of finish. Ben and team were always proactive and imaginative offering pragmatic solutions to any design issues that arose. They were friendly, hardworking and professional and showed consideration to our neighbours, important considering the extent of the works. We would recommend MAC Building without hesitation.
Ben was super helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. Having never done a build before and being pretty clueless, the whole team were so supportive and explained everything to us. Everyone was really friendly, efficient, honest and super hard working. We were really lucky to have such a great team and we love our new home. We finished perfectly on time and the schedule worked very well. Ben was also really good at doing ongoing quotes and payment instalment information which was great as we were sticking to a budget and we managed to do this. MAC did a big refurb job on a 6 bed house - literally from top (re-roofing) to bottom - painting the basement and a whole lot in between. Friendly and helpful with a really positive attitude.

He understands why one wants things in a certain way, and is very good at perfecting it. - No existing furniture or fittings was damaged or broken, even during heavy-duty work, despite the house being rather small and old. - Ben is very fast in responding to queries, and ensures concerns are addressed thoroughly. - We loved how respectful, friendly, and supportive Ben's team is, towards costumers and amongst themselves. - He uses high quality material and explains how price and quality interact before buying. There is always a choice. - Our neighbours were very happy with how considerate they were during the months of work. We will go back to Ben and his team for future works, and highly recommend them.
