Hollington & Sons (Builders) Ltd T/A Olli Construction Services

Marcel and Daniel from Olli Construction did a fantastic job with the decking on my balcony. They were professional, friendly, reliable, and the quality of their work was excellent. The decking looks great and was finished to a very high standard. I would highly recommend them.

Really pleased with the work and the worker pleasant and efficient Would definitely use again

Reece is a hard worker, did a good job!

Alan came and did some work at my flat. He was really kind, polite, respectful and hardworking. I would highly recommend him.

I had a great experience with the guys today. Alan, Kiran a Charlie did a fantastic job in the kitchen and the bathroom. I am pleased. And I highly recommend Olli Group.

Reece was very polite and professional. We had a leaking tap and the job was done in 20 min, very quick. Excellent service.

Allan and Jake 10/10 work on point crazy friendly

Theo (Pheel) came round to take measurements for our bathroom and kitchen worktop, and honestly, he was an absolute gem. Really friendly, easy to chat to, and took his time to make sure everything was spot on. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting the job done properly. Big thanks as well to Alan and Jake for the bathroom work, they’ve done a lovely job, really pleased with how it’s turned out. And cheers to Daniel for sorting the kitchen worktop replacement. Cracking job all round.

Giuseppe and joseph did a 5 star service. I recommend them to anyone who needs professional assistance.

Ive been meaning to write this but haven't had the time. Charlie and Kiren from ollies came to fix my bathroom door couple of weeks ago. They were very friendly and polite. They were very mindfull about my special need child keeping the door closed and keeping the sound level down. They even offered help with my child. They were kind enough to put on a towel bar back on for me which I've been trying to put on for while. It wasn't part of their job I very much appreciate their work. Thank you Asma( poplar harca)

Marcel is a superb engineer. He went above and beyond his work! Thanks

Very good steadfast workmen

FS have worked with Olli for a number of years. The entire team are a pleasure to deal with. Polite, professional and on their game. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Cristea and Dan frantic job really sweet and considerate fast working great standard of work

Giuseppe and José fitted my new door and did a very good job. Steve visited the next day to put the finishing touches. I am very pleased with my door and the service I received was excellent

This will be an unusual review, but relevant, it's about the people.Today my bike got run over by a car, I couldn't cycle back home and instead a gentlemen from olli group has helped me to get up and gave me a lift home, taking my bike at the back of the truck. Gave me a high visibility vest and said to take care. Super grateful for kind hearted people that are still our there and helping others.

We had a bathroom and toilet flooring fitted today by Alan and Jake extremely polite gentlemen highly recommended 😀

Thank you very much to Alan for the good work very polite and helpful

Hi there, this is Zoe McNamara bay 275, Celendine Close. This morning Christian fitted a post for me, he's a true gentleman and did a perfect job

I have recently had help with my garden by Cristea, he has done an amazing job and I’m really happy with the outcome, thank you so much.

Had bathroom tiled and cupboards fixed. Chris was extremely polite, clean and tidy, I almost forgot Chris was here how quiet and prepared he was (no need to go back to his van 4-5 times like other contractors) cleared up afterwards. Wish all of Poplar HARCA contractors were this good!

One of their men Christian came out to repair my garden fence and I would just like to say that he was one of the most polite workers I have come across in a long time, he was meticulous in his work my fence looks great and he cleaned everything up before he left, even my dog liked him 😊

I've recently had french doors fitted. They took two days to complete but the workmen that came to my house were very considerate and kept my property nice and clean. They were fitted on the first day by two men called Giuseppe and Jose and on the following day Steve came and did any filling that was needed and then painted them. Together they did a great job!

We had our decking done today, this was done by Marcel and Daniel (hope we got the names correct) 30.08.25 at our flat at at David Court, London E14 Poplar (3rd Floor - 2 balconies) They did a fantastic job and kept everything clean and clear. Their communication with us was good and pleasant. Thank you both for doing a great job and taking care as if it was your own flat. We have also had the first visit from George and Chris on Thursday 28.08.25, we were happy with the Intiatial start of preparing for the job but the delivery of the decking was not made therefore they could not carry out the main job. But they were pleasant and kind and put the plastic cover on the floor to protect our flooring in the house. They kept us informed of the situation. Jake came on Friday afternoon (29.08.25) and chased up the company delivering and kept us informed and communicated well via phone and in person to ensure we were in the know, apologised for the delay although it was out of his control. Thanks again to everyone at Olli Group for your respect and kindness while this job was being carried out. Much appreciated. Thanks, Mr and Mrs Subhan. I have attached photos of job completed.

Christan did a good today at John Orwell. Gritted our floor outside our tennis court and looks way better. Proper professional job. Would have him for any job that’s needs to be done here. Very kind and polite person too.

Thank you to Alan & Jake for the work done in my bathroom today, very polite gentlemen , I am very pleased with the work.

Hi Ollie constructers have completed doing my bath Allen and James have been very professional and cleaned up after leaving bathroom tidy reassuring if anything else was needed very polite and I was extremley happy with the service i would recommended them highly of their work thank you 😊👍🏻

House works done 30/07/25 on my balcony for water leak Chris very good job friendly guy Excellent kitchen work done by Marcel very reliable very hardworking and punctual did a great job.

Olli group seems to have a bit of a bad rep from what I've heard and experienced, however a lot of it seems to come from miscommunications between departments (office) or partnerships. For example I've been waiting for a job to be completed for about 9 months I'm still waiting on the lady to call me back ... Low and behold the job was completed today by 2 very efficient, kind and respectful men, Danny and Chris. Danny got straight to work at 8am and completed the fitting by lunch time and Chris was very helpful cleaned up all the mess, got rid of the rubbish and finished the job well no complaints. Thanks to both of them and the guys who fitted the flexi waste pipe.

Chris is a top man ,he is a friendly guy done a great job at my place ,

Fantastic observation to detail from Giuseppe and his colleague. Would use them again.

A huge thank you to Steve and Jacek the Painters ! Who both did a fantastic job—there work is not only top-quality but also carried out with such care and consideration. They were incredibly helpful throughout the process, and the flat looks absolutely amazing. I truly appreciate your professionalism and dedication. Couldn't be happier with the results—thank you again! From 43

The guys at Olli group are so professional, super clean job, Christian who did the balcony levelling at Flat 6 is one of the best and deserves A 5 start too.

Jorge went out of his way to find the right part to fix my old banister. He did a great job and was very polite and courteous. Only criticism is that Olli group did not pre-arrange appointment.

Brad/Badley brutt came to resolve issues i had in regarding my bathroom ie Plumbing issues as well as put a side bath panel on. He done an outstanding job and even tidy up afterwards which is rare to see these days In my experience with contractors that I usually have in to do work in my house. Also he was very professional, polite and helpful i was very happy with his work so I would highly recommend.

Giuseppe & Joseph came to fit a new front door and frame and tidied up after themselves. They were very polite and done a fantastic job. Jacek painted the door & frame the paint job was great he was polite, very tidy. Highly recommend them.

Biagio, Matty and Jaceg were very good craftsmen, punctual, polite and professional- good communication at all times. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Very satisfied.

Bathroom was restored; tiled mastic addressed, new wall vynal and mould treated by Micheal from Olly group, also went the extra mile and installed bathroom shelves to the wall and fixed the feet that needed attention. Massive thank you Micheal you are a legend and asset to your self and Olly group. #10

Brad and Charlie went above and beyond to help with my bathroom, very professional, polite and really happy with their work! Thanks guys!

Michael Powell has just finished draught proofing my front door and also replacing the letter box. He was friendly, highly professional and his attention to standard was impeccable. He left the area he was working in spotless.

Biagio and his team are very professional and friendly. Beautiful work. Fast and efficient. Would highly recommend!!!

I had Bradley and his Assistant come to my home for 3 days of hard work to rectify my ceiling and walls after a flood, honestly I can’t Thank them enough, my ceiling and walls look amazing, extremely happy with the work & clean up at the end of each day, cheers guys, Thank you Bradley you’re a star ⭐, Need to add another big thank you to Catalin for painting my ceiling then having to come back and paint my walls with Geani, the customer service I received from all 4 guys was outstanding, you are all very kind and helpful, my home looks amazing and I’m so happy to be in my new lounge, thank again, also to Natasha in reception for arranging appointments and getting things sorted for me, and last thank you Jake for sorting things from the start, I can now chill and enjoy my home ✨✨ Charlene x x

An excellent job of renewing part of the CANAL CLUB COMMUNITY CENTRE’s roof in Bethnal Green, Tower Hamlets by Alan and Jake. No more leaks in this beloved community space and Alan kept us all up to date on the progress. The local residents are looking forward to their return to complete part 2! Olli Construction are an amazing professional family company. Many thanks to you all.

Dean did an absolutely outstanding job fixing all of the kitchen units. His attention to detail was impeccable, and he did not cut any corners throughout the process. The quality of his workmanship is truly top-notch, and his dedication to delivering excellent customer service is evident in everything he does. Not only did he complete the job to the highest standard, but he also went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His professionalism, skill, and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed. I am incredibly grateful for all the hard work and effort he put in today. Thank you so much, Dean, for your exceptional service—I truly appreciate it!

3 Bella. im very happy with the job Christian and Jake made with my fence, very professional and kind guys.

I just wanted to say that the workers were very professional and got the job done quickly—we really appreciate it. We’d definitely love to have them again if we ever need anything in the future. That said, the toilet is a bit smaller than what we originally had. We understand that you wanted to get something in for us as soon as possible rather than waiting until Monday, which we really appreciate. However, if there’s a way to swap it for a bigger one, that would be ideal. Let me know what you think. Thanks again!

Giusepe & Matty are absolutely a star ⭐. Very professional and good manners towards clients. I am so happy with their service provided by both today when they came to change my flat door. I would like to say a big thanks. Well done to both, GREAT WORK!!! God bless you both. Thanks Maria🙏🙏

Bradley and Mickhel They were very friendly and helpful They cleaned after they finished the job.

I have chosen to update my review as my experience with Ollie group as a company. I would never recommend them. The office staff are rude Specifically Jake the manager. This man should not be allowed to speak with customers. This company failed to complete the full job. The plasterers were good. But they company very unprofessional they struggle to coordinate a simple small project. Their scheduling is poor, and seamless process is not something they provide. They cant seem to connect different parts of a job. A Simply job requiring the plastering painting and skirting board fitting for 1 wall. They were given 5 full days over a 3 week period to complete this work. But they could not coordinate allocating the appropriate work man at the right days and times, arranging and supplying materials and actually doing the work in schedule. Dont waste your time on this company. The work men are good at what they do and this review is definitely not a reflection of their skill. but os a direct review of a poorly functioning company that act as if there are doing their customers a favor. This company seems to be run by people who are inexperienced in project work, have a lack of organisation, scheduling is a mess and totally unprofessional company!! It is clear this is a family run company with a poor level of customer care , satisfaction or even respect. @Poplarharca it's time to find a new contractor please. For you own private jobs, Avoid them at all costs.

First class. Efficient, quick and clean. Well recommended. Michael Powell removed poly tiles from ceilings, and sealed around sinks. Very friendly and hard working.

We had Micheal Powell Sr did a fantastic bathroom job made it look stunning and finishing work was fantastic

Cristea did an amazing job on my balcony. Went beyond what was required and left everything neat and tidy. Very professional and courteous. Definitely an asset to have on a team

Bradley and Michael Jr were very efficient plastering my hall wall. Bradley was very knowledgeable in the techniques used and in passing on these skills to apprentice Michael. A very professional job done without any fuss. They cleaned up after the job was completed and Bradley even arranged for the decorator to come later in the week to paint the wall. A job well done! Bradley was also appreciative of the Diana Ross tracks I was playing at the time so an extra star 🌟

Nooreen Rasool I am happy is very happy nice job😊

Cristea is such a hard worker, he goes upwards and beyond. Cristea is patient and polite, he cleans up after his mess and will follow up the job to makesure that I am satisfied. Cristea has done 3 jobs in total for me. Always a pleasure! By far one of the best if not THE BEST at Olli Group! Thank you!!!

I had Les come in early today to repaint my damaged ceiling/wall. He did a marvellous job. Took him all day to complete the job but didn’t complain at all. He was such a gentleman and even helped move the furnitures for me. We need more contractors like Les.

Edd and Dan came to renew my bath tub and it was done professionally even though things were placed in awkward positions and inadequately done by previous contractors. They are a good member towards the company. Thank you once again.

Brad the plumber has done a great job fixing the tap solving the hot water temperature problem in cliff walk property. Good communication and great customer service. Highly recommend him as a plumber. Thank you so much as we was suffering for long time you finally fixed the problem.

Great guys did the job quickly and neatly Cleaned up and where very polite Can not recommend them enough Raj Jayawardena

Just had your operative back to finish off the tiling to my Poplar Harca property - such a good job and such a lovely man. Workmanship was top class as was his attitude and cleanliness. The bathroom was left cleaner when he finished than it was when he started lol. Unfortunately i never got his name but i know he came from kingsland rd Plaistow. If you could pass on my thanks for a job well done i would greatly appreciate it

Tony did a great job plastering and painting our kitchen ceiling. Nothing was too much trouble, he protected the surfaces really well. He worked around my family, and was mindful when kids came home from school and would need access to the kitchen, did his best to complete it as soon as and still took utmost care to complete the job thoroughly. Really pleased with the work and service. Thank you.

Job date: 06/09/24 Job list: repair storage access door Absolutely over the moon with the care and detail that Michael Power from Olli Contractor put in to complete the job. Michael passion showed with his extensive knowledge and expertise throughout his visit to our property. He went above and beyond to quickly and masterfully complete the repairs to ensure that our flat was secured again for the safety of our children from unwanted intruders. Appreciate Michael, top man ✨

Michael Powell came out today. Did an amazing job and was very informative on how to prevent the current issue from occurring again. Definitely an engineer who knows his trade.

Alan was very helpful

Your decorator Tony is a fantastic ambassador for the company. Professional, nothing too much trouble and a thoroughly nice bloke to boot.

I am blown away. I have never had such a professional ,courteous company attend to anything in my property . John the plumber came to look at a hole in my bath , within 3 hours he had removed the old one went out and got a new one , fitted it and re plumbed everything including my pump. Excellent job , even hoovered up before he went. Next came Marcel the carpenter/ tiler . He looked at the job and went off to source the parts needed even going as far as to find the ceramic beading tiles I had ,which had to be removed when the bath came out. His workmanship and attention to detail was amazing down to putting screw caps in to match the bath panel . The bathroom was completed in one day to a high standard . Thank you so much Poplar Harca should be proud they have a team working for them that are so good .

Concrete sement flooring layed out very well by Christian

Ervinas is de man very friendly nd very good at his job we need people like ervinas in harca

Better known as Olli destruction for obvious reasons. No wonder they lost their contract with THCH and many others! I sense a lot of comments from friends and family here cause first hand experience with them and they are RUBBISH and lost at what they do! You lost your contract with THCH due to huge number of complaints, so you must be doing something right lol

Very rude receptionist. I called them more than 15 times. all the time they gave me misinformation. I put 1 star because there is no option to give 0 star or something less than that.

Really helpful friendly staff

This 1star is not a reflection on the workmanship, (for if anything, I would give them 6 stars, for the workman are worth both your time and money. However, the management are the cause of this 1star review. They will prioritise profits over getting a job done. For if the job is not correctly assessed/quoted, you can be sure that they will leave you high and dry, not placing any effort into ensuring your issue is fixed (in an safe and appropriate manner) for their management really do not care if your job is correctly done. The workman do, the management don't. Be aware of this. (For the management sail this ship...to the rocks it seems, for getting on land quickly is a greater priority than ensuring it is done correctly - a metaphor for you to enjoy) - if you live in a council flat, they will treat your job accordingly. If the council were aware of the measures they go to(or severe lack of effort) , I doubt they would retain their contracts.

Hi there i am Nicola the manager of Naomihouse @ jacksplace in Boscombe a charity shop which helps children with life threating illnesses. We have had a problem with our roof and water has been leaking in the shop , one of your workmen John was working by and helped us fix the problem for free must i add Helping clearing our roof and fixing the problem. John was very kind and helpful and done a great job and has not charged us for this., i thought this was very kind of him in helping us today Thank you again John there are still good and kind people in this world. Nicola

I can’t thank the Olli group enough, they did a fantastic job, & nothing was a problem for them. Thanks again.

Kris good job today

One of there drivers cut up my wife with kids in the car. She had to break hard or hit the van or swerve & hit the barrier I did send them a message but no reply just wish she had put the camera on other wise I would have gone to the police with the video.

The workman who helped me get into my home after my key broke in the lock, were outstanding they helped me, were patient and even carried my shopping when they finally got me into my home, thankyou very much Susan Marsh 7Gayton House

I would definitely recommend them done a lovely job no mess and very friendly

Kris was really helpful and friendly, he solved our problem really good without giving us stress, we will definitely recommend kris and his service for any emergency lock change. Many thanks

Excellent work on my loft conversion. Would definitely use this friendly and honest local company again. Good value.

Family run builders with considerate workforce!!

Would never recommend... we may be in a housing association property where the landlord has paid, but the quality of work was disappointing and quite saddening as this is still our HOME! They failed to adequately cover our carpets and had to then pay to get them cleaned, had two weeks to insulate a bedroom, did just two days work in week one and then as were running behind schedule rushed the plaster drying with a dehumidifier... so I now have cracks along the skirting. Plastered over my ceiling rose so now it won’t screw on and still remains to be fixed, replaced a bedroom door today and took a chunk out of it!! The reason why they had to replace the door in the first place was because they damaged the original somehow, and have managed to damage the new one! No, I would never recommend.

I would recommend these guys. I had a water leak on Monday and I had Olli out to fix it. They did a great job. The gentleman that came to fix the problem had a long day but he still came in smiling. I think his name was Andy.

Nice staff

This gentleman attended our property and was truly a pleasure. He ensured we were all satisfied with his suggestions and then returned within half an hour with our cupboard door hinge! Usually, contractors go missing in that time!!! Not only are we happy with his kind and noble manner but more so with his professionalism and tidiness. Recommended highly! Thank you Olli for putting our trust back into reliable services :-)....and leaving us with a safe cupboard door which is not hanging!

Let me start by saying that I do not write reviews, but I am making an exception in this case. Having been left on the shelf by many roofing firms who promised to start work and couldn't be bothered to turn up, I called Olli construction. From start to finish the work was undertaken with a refreshing amount of professionalism and finished to a high standard. Thank you for restoring my faith in the building trade.

We all know that friends and family can leave great reviews but... this is one from a real, genuine and disappointed customer... I made a call into Olli construction today (THE RECEPTIONIST WAS VERY RUDE AND ABRUPT) This company was hired to fit a correct regulated fire door on my property, the job that was done was APPALLING to say the least! Everything was wrong with the job 'Olli Construction' executed. A fire door should have no more than a certain amount of space between the door and the frame. The door that 'Olli Construction' cut and put on to the frame is way too small, so.. if a fire does happen to take place anywhere in the property, the job that 'Olli Construction' did would help a fire spread quickly rather than allowing me more time to get out and save lives! The locks that 'Olli Construction' cut and fitted into the door... were fitted upside down!.. meaning that in order to open the Chubb, I would need to put the key in upside down and lock it to open and this is also the same for the top lock. I DO NOT recommend this company if you are wanting to have the best quality of fire safety in your home for yourself or your family, the job that 'Olli Construction' did in my home is something that will put my life in danger and would only assist a fire in spread throughout building or into my home. I called into 'Olli Construction' today to ask them when they would be coming to put right what they themselves said "was done wrong" (when they eventually came back to see previously what I had been complaining of) and what they said would be made right? I think...they fitted the door sometime in October last year and till this day NOTHING has been done by 'Olli Construction' to fix the terrible job that they had done. The man that I spoke to over the phone (James Cooper) made claims that many attempts have been made to gain access to the property to put right but this is false, it was only one time I said I could not make an appointment and this was for work. I gave the owner of the company my direct mobile number to call me and they never did call to make the appointment to come and do the job right. They have ignored me, they have not called me (NOT EVEN ONCE) to make an appointment to put right something that they did appallingly wrong! especially something that could endanger my life if there happened to be a fire! I feel that this company only care about money and this is why they have done a job that does not meet fire safety regulations, this is why they have not been back to make good and this is why they have continued to ignore me and hope I go away. I have had the job that 'Olli Construction' did looked at by a reputable, registered and regulated company (IFS Fire & Security) and they have said that the fire door that has been fitted on my property by 'Olli Construction' DOES NOT MEET FIRE SAFETY REQUIRMENTS, the space between the door and frame exceeds 3mm and they have put NO INTUMESCENT STRIPS along the sides and top of the door (I fitted them!), plus the spacing at the bottom of the door is also 1/2 inch from the ground. I am very disappointed that 'Olli Construction' DO NOT seem to care enough when it comes to people and their direct safety (especially when it's something that they have created) this should have been something at the top of 'Olli Construction' agenda, very sad that Mr James Cooper did not feel that this was something worthy of rectifying with urgency!

I used Olli construction for my extension and couldn't ask for a better service. Helpful, clean, tidy and reliable. Would definately use again.

Highly recommend Olli Construction and their expert team for their performance on plumbing and electrical repairs ...true professionals and nothing is too much for them.

Definitely recommend using this company as they are good value for money! They got the job done in a speedy manner with very good attention to detail. Most of all I appreciated the high standard of works with an extremely friendly service. Thank you Olli Group!

Would just like to thank the olli team for all the hard work they put into the refurbishment of our premises. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Thanks once again and we know where to come when we start our next project.

Very rude receptionist
