Theo (Pheel) came round to take measurements for our bathroom and kitchen worktop, and honestly, he was an absolute gem. Really friendly, easy to chat to, and took his time to make sure everything was spot on. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting the job done properly. Big thanks as well to Alan and Jake for the bathroom work, they’ve done a lovely job, really pleased with how it’s turned out. And cheers to Daniel for sorting the kitchen worktop replacement. Ive been meaning to write this but haven't had the time. Charlie and Kiren from ollies came to fix my bathroom door couple of weeks ago. They were very friendly and polite. They were very mindfull about my special need child keeping the door closed and keeping the sound level down. They even offered help with my child.They were kind enough to put on a towel bar back on for me which I've been trying to put on for while. This will be an unusual review, but relevant, it's about the people.Today my bike got run over by a car, I couldn't cycle back home and instead a gentlemen from olli group has helped me to get up and gave me a lift home, taking my bike at the back of the truck. Gave me a high visibility vest and said to take care. Super grateful for kind hearted people that are still our there and helping others.

Had bathroom tiled and cupboards fixed. Chris was extremely polite, clean and tidy, I almost forgot Chris was here how quiet and prepared he was (no need to go back to his van 4-5 times like other contractors) cleared up afterwards. Wish all of Poplar HARCA contractors were this good!
One of their men Christian came out to repair my garden fence and I would just like to say that he was one of the most polite workers I have come across in a long time, he was meticulous in his work my fence looks great and he cleaned everything up before he left, even my dog liked him 😊
I've recently had french doors fitted. They took two days to complete but the workmen that came to my house were very considerate and kept my property nice and clean. They were fitted on the first day by two men called Giuseppe and Jose and on the following day Steve came and did any filling that was needed and then painted them. Together they did a great job!
We had our decking done today, this was done by Marcel and Daniel (hope we got the names correct) 30.08.25 at our flat at at David Court, London E14 Poplar (3rd Floor - 2 balconies) They did a fantastic job and kept everything clean and clear. Their communication with us was good and pleasant. Thank you both for doing a great job and taking care as if it was your own flat. We have also had the first visit from George and Chris on Thursday 28.08.25, we were happy with the Intiatial start of preparing for the job but the delivery of the decking was not made therefore they could not carry out the main job. But they were pleasant and kind and put the plastic cover on the floor to protect our flooring in the house. They kept us informed of the situation. Jake came on Friday afternoon (29.08.25) and chased up the company delivering and kept us informed and communicated well via phone and in person to ensure we were in the know, apologised for the delay although it was out of his control. Olli group seems to have a bit of a bad rep from what I've heard and experienced, however a lot of it seems to come from miscommunications between departments (office) or partnerships. For example I've been waiting for a job to be completed for about 9 months I'm still waiting on the lady to call me back ... Low and behold the job was completed today by 2 very efficient, kind and respectful men, Danny and Chris. Danny got straight to work at 8am and completed the fitting by lunch time and Chris was very helpful cleaned up all the mess, got rid of the rubbish and finished the job well no complaints. Thanks to both of them and the guys who fitted the flexi waste pipe.

The guys at Olli group are so professional, super clean job, Christian who did the balcony levelling at Flat 6 is one of the best and deserves A 5 start too.
Jorge went out of his way to find the right part to fix my old banister. He did a great job and was very polite and courteous. Only criticism is that Olli group did not pre-arrange appointment.
Brad/Badley brutt came to resolve issues i had in regarding my bathroom ie Plumbing issues as well as put a side bath panel on. He done an outstanding job and even tidy up afterwards which is rare to see these days In my experience with contractors that I usually have in to do work in my house. I have chosen to update my review as my experience with Ollie group as a company. I would never recommend them. The office staff are rude Specifically Jake the manager. This man should not be allowed to speak with customers. This company failed to complete the full job. The plasterers were good. But they company very unprofessional they struggle to coordinate a simple small project. Their scheduling is poor, and seamless process is not something they provide. They cant seem to connect different parts of a job. A Simply job requiring the plastering painting and skirting board fitting for 1 wall. They were given 5 full days over a 3 week period to complete this work. But they could not coordinate allocating the appropriate work man at the right days and times, arranging and supplying materials and actually doing the work in schedule. Dont waste your time on this company. The work men are good at what they do and this review is definitely not a reflection of their skill. but os a direct review of a poorly functioning company that act as if there are doing their customers a favor. This company seems to be run by people who are inexperienced in project work, have a lack of organisation, scheduling is a mess and totally unprofessional company!! It is clear this is a family run company with a poor level of customer care , satisfaction or even respect. @Poplarharca it's time to find a new contractor please. For you own private jobs, Avoid them at all costs.

I had Les come in early today to repaint my damaged ceiling/wall. He did a marvellous job. Took him all day to complete the job but didn’t complain at all. He was such a gentleman and even helped move the furnitures for me. We need more contractors like Les.

Tony did a great job plastering and painting our kitchen ceiling. Nothing was too much trouble, he protected the surfaces really well. He worked around my family, and was mindful when kids came home from school and would need access to the kitchen, did his best to complete it as soon as and still took utmost care to complete the job thoroughly. Came quickly, surveyed the job, and carried out the works all within the same day, all to a high standard. Even went above and beyond and fixed some extras to ensure it was safe for my kids.
Alan and his colleague Jake are very friendly helpful contractors, I have recieved top service from them both on two occasions, they dealt with the roof leaks on the first visit. I had a major leaking my property and these two guys repaired leak in one day. I always see them arround the community and are very friendly individuals. Thanks guys and keep up the community spirit.

I am blown away. I have never had such a professional ,courteous company attend to anything in my property . John the plumber came to look at a hole in my bath , within 3 hours he had removed the old one went out and got a new one , fitted it and re plumbed everything including my pump. Excellent job , even hoovered up before he went. Next came Marcel the carpenter/ tiler . He looked at the job and went off to source the parts needed even going as far as to find the ceramic beading tiles I had ,which had to be removed when the bath came out. His workmanship and attention to detail was amazing down to putting screw caps in to match the bath panel . The bathroom was completed in one day to a high standard . Thank you so much Poplar Harca should be proud they have a team working for them that are so good .

Better known as Olli destruction for obvious reasons. No wonder they lost their contract with THCH and many others! I sense a lot of comments from friends and family here cause first hand experience with them and they are RUBBISH and lost at what they do! You lost your contract with THCH due to huge number of complaints, so you must be doing something right lol
Very rude receptionist. I called them more than 15 times. all the time they gave me misinformation. I put 1 star because there is no option to give 0 star or something less than that.
This 1star is not a reflection on the workmanship, (for if anything, I would give them 6 stars, for the workman are worth both your time and money. However, the management are the cause of this 1star review. They will prioritise profits over getting a job done. For if the job is not correctly assessed/quoted, you can be sure that they will leave you high and dry, not placing any effort into ensuring your issue is fixed (in an safe and appropriate manner) for their management really do not care if your job is correctly done. The workman do, the management don't. Be aware of this. (For the management sail this ship...to the rocks it seems, for getting on land quickly is a greater priority than ensuring it is done correctly - a metaphor for you to enjoy) - if you live in a council flat, they will treat your job accordingly. If the council were aware of the measures they go to(or severe lack of effort) , I doubt they would retain their contracts.
Hi there i am Nicola the manager of Naomihouse @ jacksplace in Boscombe a charity shop which helps children with life threating illnesses. We have had a problem with our roof and water has been leaking in the shop , one of your workmen John was working by and helped us fix the problem for free must i add Helping clearing our roof and fixing the problem. One of there drivers cut up my wife with kids in the car. She had to break hard or hit the van or swerve & hit the barrier I did send them a message but no reply just wish she had put the camera on other wise I would have gone to the police with the video.

Would never recommend... we may be in a housing association property where the landlord has paid, but the quality of work was disappointing and quite saddening as this is still our HOME! They failed to adequately cover our carpets and had to then pay to get them cleaned, had two weeks to insulate a bedroom, did just two days work in week one and then as were running behind schedule rushed the plaster drying with a dehumidifier... so I now have cracks along the skirting. Plastered over my ceiling rose so now it won’t screw on and still remains to be fixed, replaced a bedroom door today and took a chunk out of it!! The reason why they had to replace the door in the first place was because they damaged the original somehow, and have managed to damage the new one! No, I would never recommend.
I would recommend these guys. I had a water leak on Monday and I had Olli out to fix it. They did a great job. The gentleman that came to fix the problem had a long day but he still came in smiling. I think his name was Andy.
This gentleman attended our property and was truly a pleasure. He ensured we were all satisfied with his suggestions and then returned within half an hour with our cupboard door hinge! Usually, contractors go missing in that time!!! Not only are we happy with his kind and noble manner but more so with his professionalism and tidiness. Recommended highly! Thank you Olli for putting our trust back into reliable services :-)....and leaving us with a safe cupboard door which is not hanging!
Let me start by saying that I do not write reviews, but I am making an exception in this case. Having been left on the shelf by many roofing firms who promised to start work and couldn't be bothered to turn up, I called Olli construction. From start to finish the work was undertaken with a refreshing amount of professionalism and finished to a high standard. Thank you for restoring my faith in the building trade.
We all know that friends and family can leave great reviews but... this is one from a real, genuine and disappointed customer... I made a call into Olli construction today (THE RECEPTIONIST WAS VERY RUDE AND ABRUPT) This company was hired to fit a correct regulated fire door on my property, the job that was done was APPALLING to say the least! Everything was wrong with the job 'Olli Construction' executed. A fire door should have no more than a certain amount of space between the door and the frame. The door that 'Olli Construction' cut and put on to the frame is way too small, so.. if a fire does happen to take place anywhere in the property, the job that 'Olli Construction' did would help a fire spread quickly rather than allowing me more time to get out and save lives! The locks that 'Olli Construction' cut and fitted into the door... were fitted upside down!.. meaning that in order to open the Chubb, I would need to put the key in upside down and lock it to open and this is also the same for the top lock. I DO NOT recommend this company if you are wanting to have the best quality of fire safety in your home for yourself or your family, the job that 'Olli Construction' did in my home is something that will put my life in danger and would only assist a fire in spread throughout building or into my home. I called into 'Olli Construction' today to ask them when they would be coming to put right what they themselves said "was done wrong" (when they eventually came back to see previously what I had been complaining of) and what they said would be made right? I think...they fitted the door sometime in October last year and till this day NOTHING has been done by 'Olli Construction' to fix the terrible job that they had done. The man that I spoke to over the phone (James Cooper) made claims that many attempts have been made to gain access to the property to put right but this is false, it was only one time I said I could not make an appointment and this was for work. I gave the owner of the company my direct mobile number to call me and they never did call to make the appointment to come and do the job right. They have ignored me, they have not called me (NOT EVEN ONCE) to make an appointment to put right something that they did appallingly wrong! especially something that could endanger my life if there happened to be a fire! I feel that this company only care about money and this is why they have done a job that does not meet fire safety regulations, this is why they have not been back to make good and this is why they have continued to ignore me and hope I go away. I have had the job that 'Olli Construction' did looked at by a reputable, registered and regulated company (IFS Fire & Security) and they have said that the fire door that has been fitted on my property by 'Olli Construction' DOES NOT MEET FIRE SAFETY REQUIRMENTS, the space between the door and frame exceeds 3mm and they have put NO INTUMESCENT STRIPS along the sides and top of the door (I fitted them!), plus the spacing at the bottom of the door is also 1/2 inch from the ground. I am very disappointed that 'Olli Construction' DO NOT seem to care enough when it comes to people and their direct safety (especially when it's something that they have created) this should have been something at the top of 'Olli Construction' agenda, very sad that Mr James Cooper did not feel that this was something worthy of rectifying with urgency!
I used Olli construction for my extension and couldn't ask for a better service. Helpful,clean,tidy and reliable. Would definately use again.
Highly recommend Olli Construction and their expert team for their performance on plumbing and electrical repairs ...true professionals and nothing is too much for them.
Definitely recommend using this company as they are good value for money! They got the job done in a speedy manner with very good attention to detail. Most of all I appreciated the high standard of works with an extremely friendly service. Thank you Olli Group!
