Jack had to relay our old patio which was built for us about 40 years ago. Jack did an amazing job when he found the patio was built on sand, so he had to completely reorganise his schedule and build a proper foundation. Jack is a very tidy worker keeping everything under control and clearing up as he goes.. Our finished result is an amazing patio with no cracks and weeds being a thing of the past. Jack repointed the front wall of our house and replaced a number of cracked and flaking bricks. The quality of his work is faultless: he colour-matched the bricks and mortar perfectly - we can't now tell where the original brickwork ends and the repairs start. Jack is a first-class bricklayer. He undertook various brickwork including the making good of several penetrations following the removal of a boiler flue and vent. The end result was superb and you would have never known what was there previously. His attention to detail is phenomenal. Jack also rebuilt a garage wall and once again, a truly excellent finish. Chimney on quite steep roof needed repointing - Jack came, did the job over the course of one and a half days - and what looked to be in a very sorry state is now 'as new' - brillient job Jack. If you need your chimney repointed - Jack's your man.

Don’t be deceived by his youthful looks - Jack is a master at what he does. So thrilled with the elegant and transformative stone staircase built from the remains of a rotting corner terrace. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you are anxious about getting the right person for bricklaying, don’t be with JFE Brickwork. Jack is prompt, polite, reliable and reasonably priced. His work is efficient, professional, skilled, with a clean finish. He repaired part of my damaged caved in brick wall following a minor truck collision. He managed to recycled the bricks, blending it into the rest of the wall. The result is seamless. In addition, I asked him to change part of an old breeze block wall into a new brick wall and add a brick pillar to match the other repaired brick wall he did. It looks stunning. Plus, he very kindly agreed to return after the the brickwork was set to install my new garden gate onto his newly laid brick pillars. Thank you. Nice touch. Many neighbours have passed positive comments about Jack’s excellent workmanship. In short, Jack is highly skilled, hardworking and trustworthy. A good find indeed!
