SOS Repairs gets mostly praise from customers, who report fast, efficient service and professional, polite engineers. Several say the repair was done on the visit, including ovens, washing machines and a dishwasher, and some would recommend the business to family and friends. A few reviewers raise serious concerns: one says he was asked for an £80 call-out fee and found the man shady and rude on the phone, one says a control board replacement was suggested when the fault turned out to be a loose connection, and one says an £80 call-out fee was charged but nothing was done.
DO NOT USE THESE CONMEN. Asked for £80 for a visit and when I asked what dies it go towards the man was very shady rude then hung up. STAY AWAY
Called out, attempted to charge for a control board replacement which was pricey. Checked myself and a single spade ferrule was loose, required no parts and no expensive fix. Had the Technician opened up the washer and actually looked they'd have fixed it on first callout, unless they knew and were trying it on. Unclear either way, but waste of time.
Beware. £80 call out fee and did absolutely nothing. Won't use again.
Dishwasher broke and needed someone as soon as possible with a busy household. Received fast service and the man who came out was lovely and sorted the issue in great time. very efficient and resolved a stressful situation quickly.
