We had Gavin from A&E Appliances out recently to repair our washing machine and couldn't be happier with the service. He was professional, efficient, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. His workmanship was neat and tidy throughout, and he was friendly and trustworthy the whole time he was in our home. Highly recommend Gavin and A&E Appliances - great experience from start to finish!

Just wanted to say how friendly and efficient your engineers were this morning. It took half an hour to remove the old integrated fridge freezer and to fit in the new one. Very impressed with their can do attitude, attention to detail and customer service. Big thank you to Christina too who made it all happen in less than 24 hours.

Fantastic service from A&E Appliances this week. Tried to repair my broken fridge freezer by calling them & they quickly turned that round to finding & installing a replacement. Took my old one away as well. A great service & very reasonably priced too 👏

First time using A&E. Bosch dishwasher playing up. Considered buying a new one, but thought id try a repair firm. Jacob arrived, diagnosed the problem and had the impeller out in a few minutes and removed a yoghurt pot (photo attached) that had welded itself deep inside. All back together and working as new. All just for the price of a reasonable callout fee. Absolute result

Time wasting scam merchants who won't respond to queries. Save your time and use a decent company who respond to queries and who want to work.

Gavin came out to repair my integrated dishwasher door and provided an absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. The phone was answered immediately by the office with no additional dials or waiting, and he attended within 24 hours of my call. The price was spot on, especially for such an essential repair. I would give more stars if I could.

No hesitation in recommending this firm! Called the very pleasant and helpful Gail last Wednesday about my washing machine, which wasn't emptying,. I was given a very reasonable quote, and a promise of a call the following day, to give me 20 minutes notice of arrival. Rob actually called 30 minutes before coming, and had sorted out the problem in 15 minutes. Great service!

They got me out of a bind very fast but the best thing about them (having tried a national provider first) is that by being local you have a real point of contact. The lady in the office is friendly and helpful and so was David, the engineer who came out to carry out the washing machine repair.

Highly recommend! Had a broken washing machine in my tenant's house. A&E Appliances liaised with the tenant when to arrive, turned up promptly the next day, found the fault and fixed it, all for a good price. Will definitely approach again in the future if I have any issues.

I received outstanding service from Jacob on both visits when he came to assess the washing machine and subsequently replace it with a new machine. Efficient as they come! Reported a dishwasher fault on Wednesday evening, phone call received Thursday morning to discuss the process, further call received from an engineer who came that day to diagnose etc! New unit needed, all fitted by 9am on Monday morning!

Lady who answered the phone was efficient helpful and most of all friendly and kind! Informed me of cost straight away (dishwasher was broken). Easy over the phone payment. My washer died. I rang A&E. I got great help on the phone. I bought a washer. It was delivered the next day. Superb service. Very polite and efficient service. The great price included delivery, installation and removal of the the old washer and all the packaging! I’ll definitely buy any new appliances from them! Many thanks to A&E for a fantastic service!

Excellent service! Steve and Jacob came over to repair my Miele washing machine. They called ahead of time, switched times to fit around my school run, and then arrived promptly. They did a brilliant job fixing the machine, and also gave me lots of information about how to stop it breaking again. Friendly and efficient. Prompt, easy payment and very nice office staff. Would highly recommend!

Had some small misunderstandings in the beginning but the customer service we received was above and beyond! In recent months I’ve needed both my washer and my dishwasher repaired. Both times I have used A&E Appliances and both times I have had excellent service. Gavin was very polite and professional and completed both jobs promptly, without any trouble. Prices very reasonable too. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Had a new hob fitted by Jacob, Excellent Customer service and finished the work in quick time. Couldn't ask for any better.

Jacob Kane came around and fitted our new heating element into our oven no problem, very fast and friendly. Only delays were caused by the landlord.

Really helpful company. The lady who took my phone was very pleasant and arranged for my washing machine repair to be done ASAP, which was much appreciated. When the repair man arrived the following day, guess what? My machine worked perfectly fine which was annoying. The repair engineer said he'd cone again for free if the problem reoccurred which I thought was very good of him. It was £58 for the visit, plus parts had I needed any. This company is very competitive AND FAR CHEAPER than the quotes I was getting from other sites, essentially the one which sends you details of repair companies... they were charging £89 just to look at the machine and then £99 on top, plus parts to repair it. Use JD services instead of those 'we will find you a repair company' websites

Really impressed with Gavin, he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I was sure my washer would need replacing but this is the second time he’s brought it back to life in the last two years. Great service, quick and very reasonable! I would recommend these guys to anyone in need of a repair.

I first contacted this company on 21/11/2022. They sent 2 engineers to my house on 23/11/2022 and told me the appliance needed a new heating circulation pump and power cable. I paid the call out charge and asked them to order the parts. I paid for the parts and waited for them to return and fit. They sent someone back with the part on 26/11/2022 but he said it was a 2 man job and it would'd need rebooking. I had to chase them to get it rebooked in. They returned on 30/11/2022 on this visit they broke a fixing ring needed to fit the part, I was then told it would need to go to the workshop. I had to chase them constantly the machine was returned at my insistence on 14/12/2022. They only sent one person with the machine and he was unable to install it as it was a 2 person job, also the power cord, that I'd paid for was not there. I asked the person who was delivering the machine to just leave it and go at which point he was abusive and left.

I had wonderful service from this company. A gentleman called Jacob came to replace my microwave and it didn’t end up being a simple as I had hoped but instead of rearranging he stuck it out and got the job done there and then. He was polite and friendly whilst still being professional and efficient. What an absolute credit to your company. I will be recommending you guys from now on. My new microwave is brilliant. Thank you.

Steve & Jacob from A&E Appliances attended and completed the repair in a professional manner. They were helpful, lots of advice, clean and tidy and were that quick and efficient they didn't even have time for a cup of tea. An excellent service and would definitely use again.
