I called Max today as my bosch dishwasher had an error code and a drainage issue. Max was able to come around within a few hours. Lovely guy and really helpful. Managed to sort the issue which needed a new pump fitting which he had in is van so everything sorted within half a day and his rates were much better than others. A pleasure to deal with and have saved his details now for any other appliance issues me or the family have.

My old Maytag fridge/freezer stopped working. Max came, diagnosed the problem, but found that the part was no longer available. He then did some research, found that a part for another fridge brand might fit, purchased that, returned and fitted it. Then when the fridge still didn't work he diagnosed another unrelated fault, and rectified that too, all for his one off labour and callout charge. The fridge/freezer is now working perfectly. Incredible old fashioned , - in the best sense, - service.

Our Neff oven stopped working on Monday evening, so I looked up local repairs on Tuesday morning and called SOS Appliances. Max answered the call and was around our house by 11.30. He checked out the problem, had a spare on his van (a fan heater ring) and had the job fixed by midday. You can't ask for a better result than that. If I'd gone national we'd still be waiting for someone to look at the job! On top of that the invoice was a £60 call out fee and and the cost of the part! Max is definitely someone to have on your Utilities Repair List.

Extremely poor service received and as yet SOS has never been back to fix my oven after first looking at on 11 November 2023.Saying they couldn't find the part needed to fix it but would keep looking.So in December 2023 I found and ordered the part myself and it arrived within a week .And contacted them in December 2023 informing them i now had the part and could they arrange to fit it.Then on the 6 January 2024 still not hearing from them after having no oven all Christmas and for you last two month's i called out another company to fix the oven which was repaired promptly,quickly and without a problem.As yet SOS has still not contacted me and i have now messaged them to say the oven has now been fixed by somebody else.

The fan in my freezer broke, unfortunately Daewoo no longer make appliances and parts are not available. Max managed to track down a suitable motor and repaired my freezer, thankfully just in time for Christmas. So pleased we have found Max! I got in touch after reading the rave reviews on Google when our oven stopped working - they are spot on. He was very quick to respond to my original enquiry and managed to do the repair within 24 hrs even though it wasn't an urgent job. (Just a word of warning he doesn't like dog so move your dog into the lounge before he comes. It will save you the embarrassing 10 minutes we had trying to get the dog out from under the table.)

Max spent a lot of time, patience and effort to make sure my dishwasher was repaired. He went above and beyond on a very difficult job, regardless of the time spent he didn't increase his price, he was always available to update me on when the part would arrive. Would highly recommend, a top professional.
My fridge wasn't working so I called Max late one evening and got through straightaway. He was able to come the next day and did his best to diagnose the problem. He went away to source a part but was unable to purchase and fit it due to the complexity of the programming of a new thermostat. He then refunded his callout charge ( which was good value considering it would have included any labour time) immediately to my account. In short, I can't comment on his work but Max is very reliable and I can recommend him due to his speedy response times and commitment to saving you money!

Great service and results, highly recommended. My dishwasher was not working and Massimiliano was prompt and stick to the date arranged for the visit. He conducted a full in depth diagnosis, only concerned about fixing the issue and not rushing it to just move to the next job. it is so difficult to find someone trustable and Massimiliano is. I decided at the end to buy a new machine and Massimiliano offered an extra service, free of charge, to help with the disposal of the machine. Would surely use his service again.

Max was quick to respond and diagnose the fault with my built in 20 year old Liebherr refrigerator. His fixed call out charge was very reasonable and covered the cost of diagnosis and repair. His usual parts supplier was unable to provide the new thermostat required but he was able to direct me to the right part on eBay. He fitted the part the day after it arrived. I found this gentleman on Facebook and I guarantee you I will never look for another engineer again, Max is friendly punctual, efficient, quick and very informative.
