Had a gas leak and after getting it shut off called around to try and find a gas engineer. Phillip responded and was round the next day to carry out the repair. Professional and high quality work at a reasonable price, would recommend without hesitation.
Cannot praise Philip enough ,fitted new combi boiler and pipe work. Removed both old water tanks. Very thorough, polite and friendly. He worked continuously to get finished before Christmas. Would highly recommend him .
I was lucky enough to find Phillip from Thermoglow Plumbing and Heating when the twenty year old gas boiler in my parents house broke down. This was a huge concern for me as they are both in their eighties and I do not live close enough to look out for them directly. Phillip quickly assessed the situation and booked them in as an emergency installation and was on site within a couple of days with a replacement boiler. He also had to relocate the flu and various other aspects of the old system to bring it in line with modern safety regulations. He kept me updated on the progress with calls and pictures. He was also able to reassure my mother who can be anxious in situations like this that things would be fine. Maybe this was his biggest achievement! I highly recommend him and he will be the first contractor that I call if anything goes wrong in the future.
Asked for a quote on Tuesday, by Friday had a new boiler fitted, replaced thermostats, pipework and electrics all upgraded and working smoothly. Really pleased with the work done. Phil is a true professional tradesman with a great attitude to his work,keeping the customer informed all the way. Thank you.

Phil fitted new thermostatic valves on two of our radiators,fitted a new boiler and tidied up the existing pipework after giving us advice and options.Phil always takes great pride in his work and appears hard working and dedicated to his job.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Phil to anyone.
CH boiler replacement: Saturday midday requested 3 contacts through online site. 30 minutes later received call from Phillip Smith. Saturday evening visit, excellent advice and instant quotation at a very good price. Monday installed and fully up and working despite being in a tight space - old boiler removed and cleaned up afterwards. Good choice of boiler, excellent choice of supplier/installer. Knowledgeable, friendly, competent and local. The very highest recommendation.
Absolutely brilliant work! Our landlord requested a new water cylinder as the old one was leaking. And the work was amazing, he done an amazing job and so good with the fact we had two little ones running around too! Even explained the process and how to use it properly! Would recommend to everyone!! 10/10 thank you again!

Phil came to the rescue at my house for a gas leak. As you do, I had three people around to assess the work and provide a quote, his price was very reasonable and I felt he was the most professional. He is really friendly, listened to my concerns and provided his own ideas for the best way forward. He explained everything to me at a level I could understand. The work required the gas pipe being rerouted. He completed the work quickly and left the site clean and tidy with minimal disruption to the house. I cannot recommend Phil enough. Thank you 🙏🏼
