I had an excellent experience with Carmine Heating Ltd and would highly recommend them. Mel carried out a full service and repair on my Vaillant boiler and fixed the problem properly. He cleaned the heat exchanger, added the required chemicals, replaced the seals and completed everything in one visit. He clearly knows Vaillant boilers very well and, as an accredited Vaillant specialist, gave me confidence that the work was being done correctly. He was professional from start to finish. He phoned around 20 minutes before arrival, arrived as agreed, worked carefully and did not leave until the boiler was 100% working. He also cleaned the working area after completing the service, which was appreciated. Very reliable, knowledgeable and thorough. I would definitely use Carmine Heating Ltd again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a proper Vaillant boiler service or repair.

Carmelo arranged an appointment promptly and was extremely knowledgeable. He was very thorough in checking my boiler and quickly resolved the leak in my bathroom towel radiator. He resolved the issues the very same day and even repaired my broken cupboard while he was here. His attention to detail and level of care were amazing throughout. First time using Mel for servicing our Vaillant Ecotec boiler, Gledhill water storage and underfloor heating system. From start to finish he was absolutely superb. It's really hard to get completely honest and reliable tradesmen and I would have no hesitation in putting Mel and Carmine Heating in this category. His Comms was excellent, turned up when he said he would and finished the job within the time he quoted. He mentioned a couple of potential issues that might happen in the future but nothing of immediate concern but something to keep an eye on. All in all brilliant service at a fair price. We have used Mel for regular boiler servicing previously, however had to had an emergency call out for a boiler issue that came up over the weekend. Second service with Mel and a fix - couldn't recommend more. I called Mel after a valve broke under the boiler and I couldn't correct a pressure issue as a result. Mel went above and beyond and managed to pop in on the same day (on this occasion, within the hour and without charging!) to provide a temporary solution, before coming back to permanently resolve at the same time as servicing. Very professional, extremely helpful and you can tell he values is customers.

We had Mel replace a central heating pump. I called him on Thursday he arrived and replaced the pump Friday morning when he had finished you would not know he had been, he never left any mess. He was a very pleasant guy, we had quite a nice chat as he worked. I would highly recommend him to anyone, he also did a gas safety check at a very reasonable cost.

Of course, on the coldest week of the year, our 13-year-old boiler started acting up… I messaged Mel in the morning, and by the afternoon, he was already here, diagnosing the issue in no time. I called Mel in the hope that he could see us about a faulty boiler that same day - turns out he could! (despite being busy with other jobs that day). He immediately identified an issue with the pump and (very) fortunately for us, explained that he had a rare spare part in his van, which meant that we wouldn’t need a full costly replacement pump. He fitted the part very quickly and efficiently and stayed to make sure everything was a-ok. A great job all round. I don’t generally write reviews, but this time, thought it was well worth spreading the word.

The service we had from Carmine Heating Ltd was exceptional. The issue was no hot water starting over the pre Christmas weekend, threatening to last over the Christmas holiday week. I sent a text on the Saturday morning and received a telephone call and subsequent visit the following morning being a Sunday . It required a follow up visit which took place at 7. 30 am Monday morning to suit our agenda as we were due to be out all day. To accommodate us the planned company work agenda for the day was rescheduled. By 9am that morning the system was up and running . I would suggest usually it would be very difficult to find such service at a weekend and one just prior to Christmas. The work was decisively and skilfully undertaken and the engineer was friendly. polite and explained the everything in detail.
We had Mel install a brand-new underfloor heating and manifold system, and I genuinely couldn’t be more impressed. Not only is Mel an excellent engineer, but he’s also such a lovely, pleasant, and down-to-earth person. He installed the system with outstanding care and incredible attention to detail. Exceptional operation -- trustworthy, down-to-earth and very decent. These guys are committed to doing business the right way: building a strong client base over time, of happy and dedicated customers. They diagnosed my old boiler for free and issued a very reasonable and comprehensive quote to have a whole new system put in. Mel talked us through the whole process and was patient in explaining our options and what we needed to watch out for. Mel and his Team provided a great service. They were reliable and very help when conducting a boiler service and changing my kitchen tap as well as providing excellent advice about which tap would be suitable. Mel and his team were also willing to return back to the property once the new part had arrived later on in the day once they worked out the initial parts were not suitable at no extra fee. Mel responded to my call on a Sunday late afternoon / evening after I’d been left high high and dry by two emergency call out plumbers over the weekend After I explained I could get by without him attending that evening, he was with me by late morning the next day- efficient, knowledgeable, quick to solve the problem (which required new parts), I had hot water within 2/3 hours of him first coming out to my house. Compared to 2 days of no hot water or heating after 2 emergency plumber call outs. I cannot recommend strongly enough.
Carmine Heating did a fantastic job of replacing my very old boiler after we moved into a new place. Mel came out very promptly to quote and then managed to squeeze me in the very next week. After the frustration of dealing with other plumbers that were either unprofessional or liars to try and get extra money from us it was a breath of fresh air to have Carmine Heating and especially Carmelo to come to our rescue. He was very polite, well mannered, reassured myself and my wife that there would not be a leak and that he would finish the job properly. We were originally quoted triple the amount by two plumbers because they could not find the fault however Carmelo quickly realised the errors the previous plumbers had made and rectified these issues: he even stayed back and finished the job after his contracted hours. In a world where private contractors are trying to charge extra and can be lazy and not do their work, it’s great to see a company and individual that is honest, hard working, knowledgeable and goes beyond the call of duty to give customers a fantastic experience and reliable work. Unlike some competitors, Carmine Heating took the time to listen to the details of the problem with our heating system and quickly managed to pinpoint the cause (a short stretch of blocked pipework) rather than immediately proposing to install a brand new boiler. Our boiler will inevitably need replacing before too long, but I was keen to keep it running for as long as possible while it remains economical to do so. The engineer also recommended the installation of a magnetic filter in order to prevent the issue from happening again and the work was carried out quickly and efficiently. All in all, Carmine Heating are extremely knowledgeable and proficient and I will certainly use them again in future.
Following dealings with less than competent heating engineers, I decided to go direct with someone very local. Mel is extremely knowledgeable and professional, arriving at the agreed time and quickly identifying the issue. Mel came to the rescue, we had a leaking water heating cylinder and woke up to water leaking from the ceiling, called Mel and he was round within the hour, stopped the leak and then completed all the works professionally to replace the cylinder, all done within 24hrs. Great work!!!

Mel came to repair my boiler which needed a valve change. He guessed what the problem was when I explained on the phone and came with the correct valve. Everything was sorted quickly, he was efficient and polite and I will definitely call him again soon for a service.

Mel installed a new Boiler, megaflo system and some radiators in our property earlier this month. Service was professional and friendly, quotation was fair and the work neatly carried out. Although the hot water didn’t work at first, he sorted it out very quickly as it was only a setting on the megaflo that was incorrectly set at the factory. I called Mel to help with removing and refixing 2 radiators as I had another company coming in-between to tile the walls. Since one of the radiator is a tower rail radiator, it was not possible to put it back where it was as it wouldn't be parallel with the wall. One solution was to extend the pipes which was quite tricky and required 2-3 hours work. Mel found a great solution by shortening the wall mounts. Mel is professional, has good worth ethics and his services are great value.

I discovered a leak at my house, which we ultimately discovered was in the “unvented boiler” in the loft. Mel Ingrayo, from Carmine Heating quickly understood that the diagnosis provided by the emergency plumber was incorrect, and took the initiative to rapidly source the additional spare parts, install them perfectly and do the work expediently. He was quick, calm, polite and hugely knowledgeable - when his electric pump ran out of charge, he didn’t bat an eyelid and did it the old fashioned way - elbow grease. Highly recommended. He did the whole thing in two hours, cutting down the time of repair by four days, compared to the other quote I received.

Have used Carmine Heating several times in the past, most recently a radiator replacement, for which we had to schedule removal and installation around some ongoing painting/decorating. Mel was available on short notice to remove the radiator and cap everything off, before coming back the following week to install the new rad. Mel was professional, polite and tidy as ever and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. I recently bought myself a new oven and hob and as I started to install it I realised that the gas pipe behind the oven needed to be moved. I contacted carmine heating who was very responsive. Upon arrival he was very professional and I have to say he did an amazing job and made something that looked hard seem very easy. No job was too hard for him. With the pipe moved he continued to instal the oven and the hob which I am extremely pleased with. I would highly recommend.
