Had car for 14 months ac not working took to Halfords at weekend told blockage so couldn't regas. Phoned A1 Aircon this afternoon 2-30 told pop it over, home again 4-30 serviced and regassed all working fine! (Great Service)
Took my Citroen car for an aircon check as it was still not working after a gas recharge at Kwickfit . A1 inspected for leaks in the system and all was ok. They re-gassed and the difference is immediately noticeable. I can only conclude Kwickfit didn’t do the job correctly if at all ! Lesson…support this local company!
I took my 2016 Skoda here after trying (and failing) to use a DIY kit to top up the air con myself. Dan was really helpful, cleaned up my mess and got everything working brilliantly and for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them!
So very grateful to this company. After booking a recharge online with a national company and paying at time of booking, my husband took the car in and they did nothing because they said it had a leak - no definitive information, just no, can't do it. This was bank holiday Monday. I called A1 Aircon the same day, and was delighted when they answered the phone given that it was a BH. Car booked in for diagnostics the following day. Long story short: No leak was found after the diagnostics testing which I actually saw as I was stood in the garage to stay out of the sun and the chap explained to me each stage of the process. I left there being able to work comfortably today in temperatures that got to 37.5 after being in a car park in Andover for half an hour. Honestly cannot rate this friendly, professional company high enough.
Went to A1 Aircon due to the excellent reviews online I wasn’t disappointed. I believe it was Mick looked at my car and said unfortunately it needs a new condenser and gave me a quote which was reasonable. I bought the car back a couple of days later it was fitted it well under the time that I was told and unbelievably cheaper than what I was quoted. What a fantastic service if you need your Aircon sorting around new Milton this is definitely a place to go fantastic service
Fri 5th Sept. 2025 @ 14:00p.m had the Aircon re-gas on our Ford Focus today at my work place! Very helpful man Mick, who said the car has got some gas in it, but very low, needed topping up, which he did straight away! Excellent value for money & went out his way to be very kind & thoughtful, getting my Aircon running brilliantly! Well recommend him to anyone! ☆☆☆☆☆ Excellent job well done!

This is not your typical car service garage. No appointment system, just turn up and they will re-gas your AC whilst you wait (less than 30 minutes for me). It might be worth ringing ahead, because they have one service bay and re-gas one car at a time. They are expert at what they do.
I popped in to A1 Aircon Ltd today as my son’s AC on his car stopped working. They were able to look at it straightaway and it was repaired for a very reasonable price within 30 minutes. Amazing service.
Mick was amazing. So I turned up with an Air Conditioning fault without an appointment and he had a look straight away. Now I don't know a thing about AC units in cars so lets face it he could have told me anything and charged me whatever he liked especially as I was in a sports car. Mick had a look over, did some tests and found it just needed some new gas at £65 Mick also explained how on my vehicle the front AC radiators were vulnerable to stones hitting them and causing issues, what valuable information. Have now ordered a grill kit to cover these air intake ducts. You can just tell Mick has been doing this for years and probably seen it all. So all in all what a fantastic service and I didn't get ripped off. Thank you.

Took my old 3 series down to get the aircon sorted as it didn’t work, hour later it’s finished and it’s icy cold again for a decent price, highly recommend.
Called Mick in the middle of the heatwave, got booked in 2 days later and now have ice cold AC once again. Great service and quick turn around
