Nuaire Ltd customers report a mix of experiences. Some reviewers praise the products as well made and effective, and several describe helpful customer service, including replacement under warranty and clear product advice. However, other reviewers report poor support for older units, with parts unavailable and replacement units offered instead; one reviewer said they were quoted for the wrong model, and one reported repeated motor failures and an obsolete model after six years. One reviewer described repeated cancelled engineer visits and an inability to reach the company by phone. One reviewer also reported poor technical advice when asking about a product.
Very well made products.
Don’t offer support on older products, so if you intend on purchasing one of their new MVHR units be fully aware that they will not support you in future. Furthermore.. on top of not being able to offer support or send an engineer out, they more than happy to try and upsell me a new unit and put me in touch with a sales rep.
Disappointed by lack of repair support for otherwise functional unit I own a Nuaire MRXBOX95AB-WM2 ventilation system that is just nine years old — a high-quality unit that should easily last 10–15 years. The body is in excellent condition, but the main control board and fan have failed. Unfortunately, Nuaire have informed me that no spare parts or repair options are available, and the only solution offered was to buy a brand-new model at full price. I find this approach very disappointing for a UK manufacturer known for its sustainability messaging. Ending all parts support before the unit’s expected lifespan not only forces unnecessary replacement costs but also contributes to avoidable electronic waste — the very issue the UK “Right to Repair” initiative aims to prevent. Other responsible manufacturers continue to supply or support essential spares for at least ten years after production ends. Nuaire should really review its parts-availability policy and provide a repair or upgrade pathway for existing owners rather than making durable systems disposable. I hope Nuaire takes this feedback seriously and considers reinstating or extending parts support for loyal customers who want to maintain and repair, not replace, their equipment.
Good customer service. Happy with the purchase, arrived as expected.
Excellent after sales service after glitch caused by my installer
Rang for a replacement item that I fitted to a property 5 years ago, parts now obsolete!! Asked for a price for replacement unit, quoted at over £620 for HC heat model, I actually only needed the HCS heat model. The guy didn’t really know what he was on about and told me where to buy them cheaper? I am trade, so found a local suppler who was very professional and a lot cheaper. I will look to switch to another brand for future installs.
Good customer service but I and all my neighbours have issues with the motors which breakdown in just a year or so. There’s clearly an underlying quality issue. What’s worse, they’ve now discontinued our model and no alternative models could fit, i.e the whole ventilation unit is now obsolete (only 6 years after a new build). No longevity to speak of. Very disappointing
What wonderful customer service! Christian talked me through all the different products that would suit my needs and explained everything super clearly. Incredibly helpful in getting all the right details so I could make an informed purchase. Thanks so much
Spoke with Gareth today on the technical team as my Nuaire machine wouldn’t start up. After advising on checking varies wires etc in the loft the unit was deemed to be showing a software fault and looking into my order and speaking with his manager Gareth has arranged for the unit to be replaced under warranty. Cannot thank Gareth and his manager ( didn’t get his/her name ) enough. 10/10.
Good customer service. Allowed us to return a part we didn't use with a refund and no questions asked. We are a non trade (individual) customer.
The worst service ever. I can't give less of 1 start unfortunately. I moved in to my new flat in December and the MVHR unit was faulty since day 1 making horrible noises that prevented us from sleeping. Customers care from developers made arrangements several times for an engineer to visit the flat and assess the problem with the unit. However, they keep cancelling these visits at the last minute with all the inconvenience and issues that this causes to the client. This has happened several times already and I had to take time off work every time. This time, they gave me a date in 2 weeks time which unfortunately I can't attend as I'm on holiday. I asked them to rearrange and they are not willing to do so apparently. They are totally unflexible, they lack customer care and they don't offer any decent service at all. They are even unable to communicate by phone as I tried to contact myself and never answer any phone at all regardless of what department you try to call. Absolutely outrageous and terrible customer care with arrogant attitude towards clients.
Beyond dissatisfied with the level of service. My MRXBOX has never worked despite me moving into my flat in April of this year and despite numerous attempts on my part to get this fixed I am still without a working ventilation system. There really is no excuse for such poor service or poor workmanship in the first place of installing a faulty system.
Trustworthy company, my piv stopped working after 3 years, no questions, they replaced it immediately and arranged pickup for the old unit.
From a Electrical Wholesale point of view one of the worst company's I've ever dealt with!
Received the Drymaster system two months ago for my rental property. This system is absolutely fantastic, wish I bought it few years ago . Thanks Andrew for advising me on what system would work best in my property. Oh and next day delivery to Northern Ireland . Thanks guys !!!! 👍
No useful information regarding the true running cost of the heated version during cold weather on their website so I called and was told its not possible to say as everyone having different tariffs but went online and instantly found a calculator ( that they could have on their site ) and found it costs £1.80 a day - So a massive cost of £54 a month - Now I see why they don't give this information on their website.
Great
Great bunch of people work here
Contacted the company to gain advise upon what product would be best for my property. The customer adviser offered no real information or technical expertise she was unhelpful and really sounded as if she couldn't be bothered! I was really surprised as the products have been recommended to us. Its a shame but I will be looking for an alternative supplier now.
they make a mistake and sent me 3 phase fan instead of single phase, when I try to refund it they refuse it ?
Purchased the Drimaster Eco Heat Directly from Nuaire on Wednesday the 9th of Oct 2017, delivered by 1pm on Thursday the 10th of Oct, installed by 3:30 pm the same day, condensation solved by 5:00pm (relative humidity was around 80% - 90% fluctuating up to 100% when cooking now between 50% - 60%. What more can I say an exceptional product that really works! Customer service (Jonathan) was exceptional from initial call to ask for help. Aside from the humidity issues we were suffering with (baby sterilizers, baths, showers, cooking and general living) the air quality in the bungalow is now fresh and constant, I would even install in a city area for certain to simply improve air quality. I would gladly advise anyone to go for this product without a shadow of doubt! Thanks to all at Nuaire - Will, Alice & Monty!
Though they was good until there was a problem. After installing the 7th HRVC I only started to notice the poor quality of there units and terrible customer service. They won't try to fix your problem. There 5 year warranty is a con is only 1 year then the rest is labour but its a con. The hrvc filters are rubbish cheap bit of material. Not a pleated filter that can be cleaned properly.
Said my brand new fan was faulty and needs replacing. Sent me a new motherboard instead, fitted it and it does not work. Probably as they advised me I need a new fan not a motherboard? Their recommended engineers Farmwood came to fit it and it and low and behold it still does not work. Bought the units brand new and have never worked. I wish we went with a different manufacturer who would have been about the same price
I bought a fan directly from these guys - quality product and great service over the phone when I had some queries after purchase. Recommended.
I moved into my property in 2013 and recently my MRXBOX developed a fault. I called the Nuaire customer services, and expected it to get expensive quickly. I think I telephoned 3 times in total, each time the person on the end of the phone was polite, and knew the product inside-out. I am inside my 5 year parts only warranty, so Nuaire sent out 3 replacement parts, covering all possibilities of what the fault could be. The unit is completely modular and after replacing the control unit (the most likely culprit and required only a screw driver to change) the unit is now fully functioning again. Thanks so much, I have been blown away by the customer service.
