I’ve used Glenside for servicing and MOT for my motorhome for years and have never had a single problem on any occasion & today, has passed its MOT. The communication from the servicing department has been 100%, every time. I’ve now recently took delivery of 3 trucks for the company and the Sales Department are just as good as the servicing department - could not ask for any better. Prices are very reasonable considering the service and quality level as always fantastic. Thank you again to the team at Glenside - I’m happy again with my experience!

Update for Second visit to Glenside Commercials. 5⭐️ again! My first MOT was due and I wanted an engine oil and filter change 05/05/26 Mary booked my vehicle in and she was absolutely brilliant, extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable and a huge asset to the company. I mentioned I was popping into town whilst the vehicle was being inspected and Mary updated me on the progress by mobile. A little while later Mary phoned me to say my vehicle was ready. Fantastic service all round by Mary and Glenside. Unfortunately I was too late to thank Mary in person as she had finished her shift. I collected the vehicle and another lady on reception attended to me. Sorry I didn't get her name and just like Mary absolutely amazing, very professional and helpful. Thank you! Glenside, you have some amazing staff who are a tremendous asset to your business. I was looked after extremely well along with my vehicle. Thank you! My campervan needed its first service, so I booked the vehicle into Glenside Commercials , Caerphilly. Absolutely brilliant service from the reception staff to workshops. They looked after my vehicle and carried out the service and recall checks in a timely and professional manner. I'm really pleased with everything that was done and like I said the staff were excellent. Wanted an appointment to disable a few features on my motorhome, spoke to lady on phone who advised it was over a 3 week wait before they could fit me in. Proceeded to book appointment, which takes us to present day, where I arrived this morning to be told my vehicle was not in the diary, management were not in until gone 9 ( this was 8.35ish ) and that if it wasn’t in the diary, they would not look at my vehicle (managers orders, but no manager on site) I sat and waited until 9.15, still no show from management or workshop management team. I was not prepared to wait any longer and waste any more of my time, when clearly it would not equate to my vehicle being seen, on the day it was booked in for. An advanced phone call wouldn’t have gone a miss, they are clearly busy on site, couldn’t park anywhere etc, feels as though as a customer i have conveniently just been pushed aside so they can play catchup. I had to pull the MH from storage for this appointment, only to be told they couldn’t help me and would have to book in again! Yep and wait another ridiculous amount of time to be possibly turned away again! No thank you & lesson learned. Very unprofessional, but receptionist was fab, credit where due, clearly see ahead was up against it by herself. Perhaps when she’s management she can come and go as she pleases as well! Complaint has been raised direct with Iveco. I appreciate your a busy dealership, but other people also have busy lives and have to take time out to do these things, especially when it’s a coordinated effort to get the actual vehicle out of storage! Poor effort Glenside Caerphilly!

Excellent service , had recurring adblue problems, all sorted. Very impressed with Kirsty, very very knowledgeable and knew every van coming in and out.. highly recommend

I must speak as I find and the communication from here is as bad as I have ever experienced which in turn leads to what can only be stated as poor service. Atrocious way to treat your customers. I never realised so much disdain was present in South Wales for your customers

Glenside are amazing! We stumbled on them by chance and discovered they are 10 mins from our house. They did two recalls for us that another dealer said couldn’t be done without dropping the engine!! They also did some investigative work as we had heard our van was one that could have oil gauge problems. They were efficient, polite and superbly knowledgable. Mary in the service centre was absolutely fantastic and phoned back when she said she would and explained everything as it was happening. She was an absolute joy to deal with and I would throughly recommend them.

Booked in for an EMS diagnostic for my Fiat Doblos which was proficiently completed and Mary in reception was efficient in all communications. Great to visit a well organised garage!

Mot on motorhome failed it after a repair. And the failed it a second time for a £3 rubber. Out come. Pay for a full test again. Rip off.

I would never use this company again. Appalling service with exhorbitant charges. Limited knowledge of how to solve and cure the problem to my Fiat motor home. After a huge invoice to change a clutch, they couldn’t get it to calibrate so more expensive parts were needed; all this at £135 per hour plus vat! The invoice kept on growing and on a major trip to Europe the clutch they fitted failed. We had to be repatriated, lots of grief in process. Glenside would not accept responsibility or offer an apology. Vehicle was recovered to Adams Morey in Southampton who professionally repaired it. I wouldn’t trust this company to change my dustcaps! So take heed. Fortunately the small claims court recouped a fair percentage of the costs incurred owing to negligence. I’ve awarded them one star, this is related to the cleanliness of the customer toilets.

Kirsty and her team were fantastic over our last (sadly ultimately futile) MOT. Even disposed of the carcass.. or maybe that should be vancuss.

The team at Glenside Commercials are that helpful, we are changing our fleet from Mercedes to Iveco. Not the closest garage for our PMI and service but well worth it.

I had the first service for my Fiat motorhome done here recently. Part of the service involved an oil change but they sent me away with the minimum of oil and alarms flashing on my dashboard. I reported the problem the following day and Kirsty Evans promised to send out another 6 litre bottle so I could fill the oil. The promised oil failed to arrive despite Kirsty's best efforts, so she eventually delivered the oil herself as nobody else at the company seemed capable. Many thanks Kirsty. I hope the company realises what a gem of an employee they have.

Avoid this company whatever the cost I booked my grab lorry in for gearbox linkage repair for the Monday, dropped of Fri before. 1-2 days work absolute maximum, it took them nearly 5 wks to fix at cost of £1500 and loss of my earnings in excess of £12000. No communication, no emails, constantly promising to ring back with updates, I asked to speak to manager but apparently they haven’t got one and the managing director didn’t deal with complaints even though I was threatening to claim against them for loss of earnings, seems odd that perhaps I was lied to. They don’t understand the importance of getting your hgv back on the road as soon as possible being an owner driver, seems their more interested in the big money contracts. Will NEVER use this incompetent, unprofessional, useless company again.

No difference to any other

Hugely impressed with Mark and his team in the service department who sympathised with the urgency to get our truck back on the road. Plenty of communication, progress reports and fortunately we were back on the road very quickly. Great team effort. Thanks again all.

After being let down by a third party repairer ( I was trying to save myself money), Glenside Commercials Ltd picked up the pieces and carried out a speedy, successful repair. I cannot thank them enough. 👍

I am a private HGV owner of a Classic Vehicle. Having been assured that repairs could be carried out in the event of a MOT failure and the website stating " If your HGV or PSV fails the test and needs repairs they can be done in our workshops. Quick repairs can usually be done promptly so your vehicle may not even have to leave the testing station". Glenside can offer neither. My vehicle unfortunately failed its MOT and I was asked to remove it immediately by a foreman and told they were unable to do the repairs in their workshop. The Companies website is misleading and a misrepresentation in my opinion and despite challenging I have been referred to the Companies Solicitors. Clearly a company that only values "Big Business" not a private individual.

5 star service! Ordered a part for our 06 IVECO Daily which we struggled to find anywhere else. Must be honest avoided calling companies in the area at first as you always think online places like EBay will be cheaper but after no success contacted these guys and was pleasantly surprised, not only was it cheaper with them but also lightening delivery. Ordered at 15:30 on Monday and had it in my hand by 10am on Tuesday. Top customer service!

Had to order some parts for my 10 year old ducato van Jeff at parts was brill parts came in on time some even earlier despite COVID-19 won't hesitate to use glenside again😁😁

I use glenside for parts daily the 4 guys i deal with paul, anthony, geoff and declan can not do enough for me. Together they make a great team always polite and friendly. Changed an injector which took them 8 hrs to drill out of my fiat, overall cost £1300.. only one person working on it so when they were off no one else was tasked with it..not a great deal of exceperiance took nearly a week to sort..I decided to have the other 3 replaced and wished I gone to Short Bros to have them sorted but went to city Elctro diesel services instead ... theres a guy called Pete who owns CVC who pulls or drills injectors for £100 each ..wish I'd known before ..never again either of them..

Requested a quote for cambelt, waterpump and tensioners renewal over two weeks ago, still waiting. I wish I could of ignored a £1000 job when I was working.

Shocking place.. Never anywhere to park so when you go to hand your keys in they tell you to take your vehicle to over flow car park up the road and then expect you to walk back sorry but if this is your policy then please tell the customer before arriving as funny enough most people are very busy and don't have time for the inconvenience. Shocking customer service. If it wasn't the fact we have to use due to company vehicles i would avoid at all costs

Just had my truck back after sending to Glenside for an mot it passed on the 3rd attempt as there fitters are not up to speed with the law my first failure was a brake imbalance of 86% they had my lorry 3 weeks then the second was 72% percent imbalance also no side markers working on my lorry what service is this

Great service phoned for parts not expecting them to be a stock item they were there ready for me when I got there around 30 minutes later

I was booked in for a tachograph calibration at 2pm and was told it would take about 90 minutes so I went for a walk while it was being done and returned at 3.40pm to find my vehicle still in the car park untouched. I have better things to do with my time than have it wasted by Glenside Commercials

Good service, friendly staff

Excellent service, I was a walk in customer at 07:10, needed a £3 clutch cable clip for my 21 year old Daily, they didn't have one but could get it by the next morning from the Swansea branch, rang me a couple of hours later to say they had got it sent up and was available for me to pick up, can't fault this service. However, for first time customers some better signage would be beneficial, and move the van from in front of the reception door!

Waited 20 minutes for my invoice.

Ordered an iveco part that no other Iveco main dealer could get at all or with a delivery time of 5 weeks. Glenside Commercial came to the rescue I placed my order by 6.30pm and had a phone call by 7.10 am that my part has arrived and was ready for collection. As a busy recovery company time is money and I wasn't able to collect the item so Glenside Commercial send a driver out from Cardiff to drop it off to me in Swansea at no extra charge. The delivery driver called me in advance to make sure I was in . He was friendly and professional. Operating also in Germany where customer service is to a much higher standard I can honestly say in 13 years in the UK I have never experienced a company that could live up to German standards until I dealt with Glenside Commercial. Thank you very much for getting me out of a pickle and the Easter egg was a nice added Bonus.
