I have been using Eco Partners since my solar installer ceased trading a year after installation. They corrected major installation faults and stopped my roof leaking. They recently installed a battery system for me, which I can already see starting to pay back the costs. They turn up when they say they will and keep you updated. I can absolutely recommend them.

Eco Partners has done a very good job for us with our first solar installation. After my initial enquiry they promptly prepared a quote accurately reflecting what I'd asked for and were able to give me further details to reassure me about their handling the process, including communication with the DNO, needed to connect to the grid. It took only six weeks from agreeing to go ahead to having a working system. They were neat, careful and did the work in two days. After a week I can report that the system is performing better than we had hoped. I'm not expecting any problems but I'm sure they will help us sort them out if anything does come up. I highly recommend them based on our experience. Our choice of Eco Partners wasn't principally based on price: you don't want to make a big investment like solar panels by just picking the cheapest option. You need to be assured of a good job and reliability. But I should add that their quote was also the cheapest we had.

This is an update, we had a further battery installed by the Ecopartners Team. Communication was great, the 2 man team arrived on time and did an excellent job. Previous review: The team from Eco Partners are phantastic. They were very efficient from the enquiry about panels, water heater and battery, to the quote and installation. The local scaffolder did not get the scaffold up in time, but they worked incedibly hard to get the panels placed in the allocared time. The whole team were friendly, tidy and explained things well. We have a complex roof and a Scottish installer was not interested in considering panels for us. The system is working well, the apps are easy to use and understand. It is suprising how much energy is generated in our rainy, cloudy weather and some of our panels facing East. We are very grateful for the successful installation and will wholly recommend the Eco Partner team to family and friends.

I've used ECO Partners on two occasions: once for the installation of our Mitsubishi Ecodan heat pump, and then more recently for our FoxESS 11kWh house battery and inverter. Both installations were fairly complex in that they needed to integrate neatly with our existing Solar Thermal and Solar PV installations. On both occasions I have found them friendly, professional and knowledgeable, ready to provide the right recommendation and advice during the design process and prior to agreeing the installations. For the installations they arrived when they said they would, and worked quickly and efficiently to set up the systems on time and to the agreed price, completing all the relevant DNO paperwork and communicating regularly with me for resolution of any snagging issues that came up. The heat pump has proven itself well over three winters now in an exposed, high location in Yorkshire, and the battery is well sized and completes the picture for us, linked together with our previous investments it will pay for itself in about 5 years. I will happily recommend ECO Partners for anyone looking at Solar, Heat Pumps or Battery storage solutions.

Very highly recommended. We had 18 solar panels fitted and from start to finish the service was brilliant. The lads turned up on a very cold February day and we very friendly, professional and clean. They explained everything well as they were going along. Price wise they were the best of the ones I surveyed. They recommended a battery, which I was sceptical of at first, but already I am seeing the benefits. If you haven't considered solar previously, maybe you should, I wasn't expecting to see a saving so quickly, especially not in winter. - I don't think you could choose better than ECO Partners.

Had a problem with my system not working right, turned out it wasn't their fault (logistics error at a suppliers lead to a European 110v part being installed) Diagnosed the problem in minutes and fixed it for free. very impressed with their service and competency.

They were very professional and completed installing 15 panels and a battery within 2 days- despite the scaffolding not turning up till the 2nd day, and despite the terrible weather.

We were persuaded to buy a battery for our solar system by their salesman... which has turned out to be a total waste of money. Based on it's initial performance the battery would take 26 years to pay for itself, which is bad enough. However, the manufacturer installed bug-filled software on our system (remotely) in August 2024, which has caused numerous issues, the system started importing energy at night to charge the battery, the battery stopped discharging below 30% and after a "temporary" fix in November 2024 the system now uses 25% of the battery capacity simply to run... which Enphase say is normal. The customer support initially simply passed on our emails to the manufacturer and were not interested in providing updates... because the manufacturer has NO interest in them as a small insignificant player. They closed out our "Fault No." on their system without telling us and 18 months since the problem was created by the updated software they have said there is nothing more they will do... so not just a waste of money but a waste of time too. There are many other better companies you can choose in this industry. ----------------------- The Ecopartners response is misleading, I have explained to them why their assertion on improved reporting is nonsense, as levels imported from the grid have increased (x20), but as they don't understand the problem, they have embarrassingly stood by a flawed explanation. maybe that's a lack of moral fibre. 10,000 customers and only 8 positive reviews !!! lol.

Eco Partners gave me very clear information about my solar sytem and what was needed to replace the Envoy. There was no pressure to proceed, just clarity of what was involved including the cost. An engineer arrived at the agreed time. He was outstandingly pleasant, informative and considerate. He made sure everything was as I wanted it and that it fulfilled my expectations and needs. I had decided to install a Power Wall and contracted Eco partners to ask their advice and for the options open to me. The person I dealt with was very knowledgeable and quickly sent information, recommendations and costs which I had struggled to get other companies to provide. Comments on Eco Partners I have a 16-panel solar system. Each panel is fitted with micro inverters so that I can see the power generated by each. This was installed in June 2013. The then installer has now gone out of business. Over recent months the information available from each microinverter has not always displayed correctly and has become a problem. I contacted Eco Partners who asked about my system. They said that the problem was probably that I had an Enphase Envoy R Gateway fitted and that this was now obsolete. This would be best replaced by an Envoy S and that this should fix the problem. The Gateway processes information from the solar panels and feeds it into the Wi-Fi network in the house. This then goes to Enphase and I can see the results from the panels on their Enlighten App. The Envoy S would be updated from time to time as necessary. This is not possible with the outdated Envoy R. An Envoy S was successfully installed by Armani from Eco Partners at the beginning of August 2025 and my solar system is now working perfectly. The engineer from Eco Partners that came to install the Envoy S was most impressive. He was very personable and carried out the installation efficiently. He answered all the questions I asked of him and it was a pleasure to have him in the house. I am now paying a monthly maintenance fee for the whole system to Eco Partners. This will cover any further problems with the solar system in the coming years.

Eco Partners have just completed the installation of my Air Source Heat Pump and hot water Cylinder etc. The whole process from initial enquiry to installation has been extremely professional and thorough and I would not hesitate to recommend Eco Partners to anyone. Communication by phone and email has been prompt and they kept us informed about all aspects including the BUS process through Ofgem. 5 star service!

Eco Partners have recently installed an air source heat pump in our house. In all our dealings with Julian,Bobby , Sam and other people who have helped, they have been extremely honest, reliable organised and trustworthy. They have spent time and shown patience in answering our questions, as well as being a friendly and helpful presence in our home, which they have left tidy every day. Importantly, they have done a very professional and extremely competent job and worked very hard to complete it, as well as dealing efficiently with any problems that cropped up during installation, so that the heat pump is working well. We would heartily recommend them as a Company to anyone requiring this kind of work.

I recently had a FoxESS battery system installed to work alongside my existing solar setup, and I’m really happy with how everything went. The installer was super friendly and treated my property with a lot of respect, which I really appreciated. There was a small issue with one part being incorrect on the van, but they sorted it quickly by getting the right part shipped overnight. Everything was prepped in advance, so the final bit of the installation the next day only took a few minutes. Eco Partners already look after my solar system, so it felt like the logical choice to go with them for the battery too. Bobby and the team in the office were great to deal with — always helpful and responsive. I had already done most of my own calculations, so I mainly just needed some technical info, but they were on hand to support however needed. I’m sure they’d be great for anyone who needs help figuring out the right system size too. Overall, a really smooth experience and a company I’d happily recommend to anyone thinking about solar or battery storage.

Eco Partners did excellent work at my property to replace a solar panel inverter that was no longer working and to install a new Solar IBoost+. There was great communication throughout, the work was done very well, and there was good explanation throughout including how to use the IBoost+ Buddy. I would thoroughly recommend them.

They were most helpful in identifying alternative approaches to increasing our battery storage capacity and explaining the pros and cons of each. Have had Eco Partners upgrading my battery storage system and replacing a micro inverter. Dealing with Julian and Bobby was a very pleasant experience and every part of then process was handled quickly and efficiently. Even though we live in North Northumberland there was never an issue with arranging a time to suit with regard to the installation because of our work commitments and the team who came to do the job were friendly, tidy and happy to answer any questions. This is my first experience with Eco Partners but have no problems with recommending them for there service and efficiency of work carried out.

The installation of my home ASHP was completed successfully in three days, including gas boiler removal and radiator changes. All involved were very efficient, knowledgeable and competent. The system worked well straight away and in the six weeks since the installation. I’d highly recommend them.

I contacted Eco Partners to ask for a quote to install additional batteries, an additional inverter and energy management system. They responded very quickly and gave me a quote, which I accepted. I had to wait for DNO approval before the new batteries could be installed, but the installation was quick, the installation guys very friendly and pleasant. Incredible team led by James at Eco Partners installed Jinko Tiger Neo 54c 415W N-Type solar panels and batteries across 5 buildings on site at Northcliffe Environmental Enterprises Team (NEET) in Shipley. Have just bought a GIV All in One system from Eco Partners - first dealt with them over 5 years ago. As with all my transactions with them it was very easy - they are very helpful and knowledgeable. The installation went well - the guys were very professional and clean & tidy (something I've found not all electricians aspire to!). Yes there was a problem with the commissioning but again they dealt with it promptly and effectively. Can totally recommend them.

I wanted the GivEnergy AOI battery, and Eco Partners price was very competitive. Eco Partners handled everything, from obtaining DNO authorisation to installation, and kept me informed on each step. The Eco Partners team have been great. I had been told they would resolve and get my Giv Energy system working with dual inverters and they have. I've been dealing with Eco Partners since they installed a Pylontech 2.4kW battery with a Sofar inverter in 2018. I have always found them very helpful and responsive. I was, however, never comfortable with the Chinese technology or the reporting, so I recently took the plunge and went for a 13.5kWh Tesla Powerwall 2. The two lads who performed the install did a great job right up until trying to get the reporting app working on my phone. There was a problem with the Tesla server, and they stayed for hours trying to get it working before they left. They eventually left around 4:30 and still had a 2.5 hour drive home. They left my garage much cleaner than it was before they arrived, and took away all their rubbish. Proper customer service!! I have to say, I am absolutely delighted with my Powerwall and the reporting. For the first time ever, I now have real-time reporting of what is going on with my solar, battery and grid usage. The in-home display on my smart meters doesn't work because it's too far from the meters in the garage. The Pylontech reporting only updated every 15 minutes and the enPhase solar reporting only updated every 5 minutes. Now, I can see all of them in the same place in real time. The battery works much better as well. There's no waiting until the solar input is above a certain level before it starts to charge and no more jumping up and down to turn things on when the sun comes out, and remembering to turn them back off when it goes behind a big cloud. The Powerwall will charge at a rate of 5kW, so it will take the full output from my 4kW solar system. Depending on the ambient temperature, my Pylontech battery might take 1kW, 0.5kW or nothing and I could never tell which. This was a big problem if I was generating 3kW and didn't want to waste it. Now, I only need worry in summer when the battery is full, but I no longer need to worry about clouds. It will all smooth out. Now, I need to switch to an Octopus Solar PV tariff, so I can program the app to charge the battery at night at a cheap rate and export what I don't need for the night in the evening at peak rate to make a bit of a profit. Best of all, though, I no longer need to worry about power cuts because the system will automatically switch off-grid and I can continue as before using my solar PV and my battery. It will automatically switch back when the grid comes back up. I just need to make sure there's always enough in the battery. There's help with that, though - the app will monitor local storm warnings and, if you allow it, it will charge the battery fully from the grid if there's a storm coming. My life is changed forever. Thanks guys!!

I am very pleased indeed with the installation of the Mitsubishi Ecodan heat pump carried out by ECO Partners this week at my house. The installation and workmanship were exemplary, and I cannot praise too highly the way in which Julian and his team carried out this work. It was actually a pleasure to have them on site for three days. I would go as far as to say the pipework of the hot water cylinder is a work of art! The system appears to work much better than the old gas boiler system, with the rads pumping out plenty of heat and loads of very hot water. In short, one very satisfied customer !

Just over 12 months ago Eco Partners fitted my system, it is a 5kw Gen3 inverter, 16.4kwh of batteries and 7.8kw of panels east/west. I've been leaving the review for 12 months to see how it went on. I've also got a heat pump and ditched the gas 2 years ago (not by Eco Partners) and very please how everything has worked out with all the systems together. I've worked out the total cost of our energy bill for 2023 and we are actually £67 in profit. This is due to the charging and discharging on octopus flux in summer and using octopus go in winter, this makes a saving of almost £3k of energy which now gives me a payback time of 7 years for everything. They also replaced my whole roof while they was installing the panels which was a bonus so no need to touch it again in my lifetime. Would I recommend them? Without a doubt and I wish I'd have known them when I was having my heat pump done as they would have been my first choice as well.

I have had 3 separate jobs done by Eco Partners so this hopefully says a lot about how trustworthy I have found them to be. These projects have allowed our household to be greener and have very low energy bills.

This company are fantastic. I had ordered a battery system from another supplier and spoke with Bobby Chand about why the wanted to remove the individual inverters. Bobby questioned this and asked me to check the size of the inverter they would provide. He checked the manufacturers details and explained there would be limited energy flowing to my electric car. I decided to cancel my order with the company and Bobby using his extensive knowledge tailored a better system for me which didn't involve removing my individual solar panel inverters. The other company refused to pay my deposit back and with Bobby advice I managed to get it back via my bank. The service was exceptional with a proper survey and brilliant installation. I cannot praise the installers enough. They were polite, efficient and very neat and tidy. Eco partners monitor my complete system so I have great peace of mind. They were very helpful in keeping us informed of what they were doing and when they finished they left no mess. It is justa shame they cannot guarantee sunny weather to go with the panels!

Great experience getting a Givenergy battery installed with existing solar panel system. The whole process from initial enquiry, site survey to installation has been easy. Installers (sorry forgotten their names) were very knowledgeable and friendly. Did a very tidy install. Excellent company to use.

After an extensive research into solar energy options, I received three different quotes. During this process, I had several discussions with Bobby Chand, a director at Eco Partners. His focus on customer service and ability to convey accurate information impressed me. This gave me the confidence to opt for Eco Partners to supply and install. Although their pricing was not the lowest among the options, I felt I was getting value for what is a considerable investment. Taking the next step, I contacted their sales representative, Richard, and placed the order. I went for 2x12 Panels arrays with Enphase micro inverters with a Tesla Powerwall, the Eco Partners team arrived and over the next 2 days completed the installation smoothly. Even when faced with on-site adjustments, the team, Jake, Isaac, Andy, and Tom, led by Julian dealt with these in their stride. The finished installation is excellent, and I am pleased with my choice of equipment and supplier/installer I have no hesitation in recommending Eco Partners, their professionalism, attitude and focus is terrific and their installation team are outstanding.. Efficient Solar PV Installation with Same-Day Commissioning and Friendly Team I recently had the pleasure of getting solar panels installed on my roof by this (local to me) company. Not only was the installation process efficient, but the system was also commissioned on the same day, accompanied by a quick tour of the hardware and account setup for the GivEnergy portal. The team's was very friendly and professional what made the entire experience enjoyable. Their punctuality and attention to detail were impressive this installation had really smooth workflow. Throughout the installation, the team's expertise was evident as they installed the nine panels. the team filled me with confidence and trust in their work. What stood out was the same-day commissioning of the system. The team efficiently completed the necessary setup, providing a quick tour of the hardware and guiding me through the account setup process for the GivEnergy portal - so I can monitor and manage my solar energy production. The GivEnergy 3.6kw inverter 2nd gen and 9.5kWh went through the calibration overnight and I was up and running on following morning. In conclusion, the solar PV installation performed by this company was exemplary. The team's efficiency, same-day commissioning, and their friendly approach made the entire process effortless and enjoyable. EcoPartners installed a Tesla Powerwall and solar panels for us recently and I’m very happy with the job they did. I can thoroughly recommend a Powerwall as not only can you store your excess energy to use later, but you also have seamless, whole-house, backup during a power cut.

After a recent add on to my existing Solar system I have been asked to give an honest evaluation of Eco Partners Ltd. Well I can honestly say they have been nothing but exceptional in looking after me as a customer and also monitoring my solar system for errors for which they react swiftly. In the last few months I was contacted to say they had a deal on a tried and tested battery system (GivEnergy) to run in conjunction with my solar, knowing the excellent quality of their workmanship I had no hesitation to get them to do the work, they sorted all the necessary applications and paperwork perfectly, so my new 8.2kW battery and intelligent inverter was fitted on the 15th May, the install team were great and made sure that everything was all ok with me during the installation, after a couple of day's I had an inspection from an Eco Partners representative to double check the install was done in the best possible way, which of course it was. If anyone is thinking of getting a new Solar system or a battery upgrade to there existing system then give them a call and ask for Bobby Chand. * * * * *

Excellent service from these guys from start to finish. Obviously getting a PV/Battery system installed isn't a mean feat, and I'd been going over the specifics with myself and other suppliers for years. I knew what I wanted, specific to my requirements - and when talking to Eco Partners, they listened - agreed with what was correct, disagreed with what wasn't. Outcome being a well designed system specific to my needs. Comms were great, responses were quick. Priced right where it should be. Handled paperwork efficiently. G99 took as long as they thought it would. Quick to book install once approval through. Install date - scaffolding up a few days prior by third party (still clean, efficient work guys, good job done). Eco Partners installation guys were sounds, friendly, knew their stuff, quick and clean. Massively impressed. 4.4kWp PV on the roof over 2 elevations with bird protection - Enphase microinverters. 12.8kW battery storage loaded over 2 Lux AC coupled inverters. All done within 2 days. Very happy. Would recommend.

Eco Partners were used by my insurance company to replace our inverter and panels when our solar panels failed. They have been excellent. They took the time to explain what the changes were and how we could get the most out of the panels. They were quick and understood our own working lives and were able to do the work around us. They came back months after when we called with a problem and were happy to help. I can't recommend enough.

No concerns. Came back with a quote fairly quickly and answered questions so we could make a choice. When we decided to go ahead there was a slight delay getting the DNO approval but that wasn't their fault and they pushed DNO to give us the go-ahead asap. Once that was sorted installation was quick and efficient despite difficult weather

I have now had my GivEnergy solar and battery system running for close on two months and I feel in a position to give a fair assessment of the experience. Overall I am happy with my choice of both Eco Partners who installed the system and GivEnergy. I should also give special mention to Carl who did the electrical work. He produced a very tidy and professional installation using good quality components and I am well pleased. Eco Partners informed me before the start of some software issues using two inverters together and this proved to be the case. I wrongly assumed the inverters worked in parallel, but on examination it appears each inverter works in isolation resulting in some mis-balancing of the batteries. One battery discharging before the other means I have to micro manage the system via the portal which is not ideal. However, this is not a serious issue and Eco Partners have assured me that GivEnergy are working hard to resolve this. The biggest benefit to-date has been the dual 9.5kWh GivEnergy batteries. I am currently on the Octopus Go split tariff allowing me to charge the batteries overnight at a cheaper rate. This means even in the UK winter without much solar input I have enough energy to run the house for a full day without drawing further power from the grid. I can see already that during summer I will be energy positive with big savings! Altogether a big thumbs up!

Excellent communication. Received my quote very quickly. Installation was agreed with a few weeks of paying my deposit. Installation was very neat & tidy. No mess was left after installation was complete. MCS certicate received a few days after final payment. Very happy with the service provided, definately recommend to anyone else.

Contacted them about a fault 9 days ago, very promptly received a PDF about their monthly warranty plan which they suggested I buy to cover future problems but wouldnt help me with my current fault so I asked for a quote to fix the fault and also asked for a quote for battery installation options, they said i'd get a quote in "a day or two", I chased 2 days ago, this has so far been ignored.

Had a storage battery added to make the most of my solar panel production. The installation crew arrived on time and did a neat, clean job in fairly restricted space. Very friendly, helpful attitude and happy to answer questions. Would have no reservations in recommending them for this type of installation. Dealings with the office staff have also been straightforward and easy. All in all, an excellent experience.
