woodcock sash windows ltd

I honestly can't recommend Woodcock Sash Windows highly enough. From first contact through to completion of my project (supply and installation of three Victorian style sash windows), it was a pleasure to work with them. The quality of the work is exceptional, the guys were a pleasure to have on site, and having seen the amount of work involved in actually fitting them I can definitely see why they cost what they do. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. True craftsmen.

We recently had three casements replaced by Ben, Matt and Mike at Woodcock Sash Windows. They were great to work and the new windows have transformed the feel of our house, whilst maintaining the integrity of the original appearance. They deserve a special mention for the care taken to replicate the radial curve of a first storey bay cill, and the gentle slope of two other casement cills. These period details are often simplified into easier-to-manufacture angular sections and the aesthetic of the original window is lost. This attention to detail set Woodcocks apart and is why I heartily recommend them.

Really beautiful and great quality front door designed and installed by Ben and Matt. They were super nice to deal with too- highly recommend.

End to end awesome service from Ben and Matt at Woodcock Sash Windows! We had our new front door installed in August/September last year and the quality of the product (and installation) has 100% proven itself this winter. Ben and Matt were super flexible, offered ideas but also a healthy dose of realism which is very useful when you are a first time door buyer! Very responsive and kind too, so much so that we recommended them to our neighbour who also bought a door from them. Highly recommend this company!

Found Ben via an online search. He was great to work with and the quality of his work is excellent. I wouldn't look anywhere else if your in the market for quality, finish and service when it comes to wood windows.

Ben was recommended to us by our architect when we were looking for bi-fold French doors for our kitchen extension. She told us he had an ‘exceptional product’ so we were excited to work with him on the project. From our first meeting Ben was really informative, talking us through the different options / designs. Fast forward to install day and we were completely blown away, the doors completely exceeded our expectations. Ben and Matt are friendly, warm and professional. They are truly masters of their craft and we cannot believe we have something so stunning in our home. They are worth every single penny and the wait, we would have them again 10 times over. We are truly delighted and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a bespoke quality product with the wow factor.

I highly recommend Woodcock Sash Windows. Ben explained what was needed to get our 4M high sash windows opening properly and came up with a plan to get them sorted. The installation by Ben and Matt went smoothly and they went above and beyond by replacing the existing cordage of the windows and even helped fix one of the curtain rails. Our windows now glide open smoothly and we are very happy with the service.

Woodcock windows produced some stunning bifold doors for our kitchen-diner that really make the space! Ben and Matt were so polite and friendly, as well as clean and efficient, which we really appreciated as well.

Delighted with my new windows. Highly recommend Woodcock Sash Windows for craftsmanship and installation. My old windows were in a poor state and now they look fantastic and provide great insulation and reduce the noise from outside traffic.

I wholeheartedly recommend Woodcock Sash Windows. Suppliers make similar claims and it is hard to judge which will deliver, but having spoken to Ben Woodcock over the phone I was confident he was someone I could trust - and so it proved. I commissioned three sash windows and a casement window. Ben was communicative, understanding and flexible folding in with a building project which was not without its wrinkles. When another contractor let me down and some additional finishing work was required around the windows, Ben and his team stepped in and did the work for no extra charge even though it was not his responsibility. This sort of commitment to customer satisfaction is a rare thing indeed these days, and it is so comforting to work with someone who really cares - the benefit of working with an owner-managed business. I am delighted with the overall result and will be sure to use Woodcock Sash Windows again if I have work with windows or doors.

Superb communication, timing & workmanship. Excellent from start to finish and now the envy of the building - Highly recommended.

Fabulous front door! Wonderful process! This is the second time we have used Woodcock Windows after Ben refurbished a sash window for us a few years ago. He was brilliant then and I had no qualms using Woodcock Windows again. Ben was attentive to our requirements at all stages in the process of creating our front door. Knowledgable and efficient with an amazing eye for detail. He absolutely went the extra mile, making us a bespoke front door in keeping with the existing original doors on our street, right down to using special cutters to replicate the unusual mouldings. He has a great relationship with Art with Glass who made the stained glass for us - another great process & excellent communication all round. Matt who fitted the door was also courteous efficient, tidy and paid great attention to detail. All in all it has been a great experience. We would highly recommend!

Fantastic service from Ben and his team. The craftsman who came to do the job was highly skilled, efficient, courteous and repaired our sash window perfectly in no time at all. I would definitely use Woodcock again.

Ben & the team are simply sensational. An absolute joy to work with and we have been blown away with the quality of their workmanship. Professional true gentleman.

Ben and Matt did an amazing job replacing 9 Victorian windows. Perfect job and such a pleasure to work with. The new windows have completely transformed every room!

Ben and Matt did an absolutely fantastic job on new sash windows for our flat. from the very beginning Ben provided lots of advice and support and throughout the process they were extremely professional and they completed the job very quickly. They were both very friendly and we felt we could 100% trust them with the job. Would highly recommend to anyone!

The service provided by Ben and Matt has been exceptional. They were both incredibly professional and went above and beyond to help me out. I am a first time buyer of a flat and there was a budget that needed to be considered. Ben came up with the perfect solution and manged to refurbish my two sash windows in a matter of weeks. I wouldn't hesitate to use/recommend him again. Thank you so much.

We had five sash windows that needed some TLC, Ben & Matt compelted the work on time, to cost and with zero fuss, he made the whole thing very easy.

Ben and the team are legends to deal with. They changed our existing single glazed sash windows to double glazed and gave the house a face lift. A pleasure to deal with and high quality end product. They also made an arched door for us. True craftsmen!

Ben was a pleasure to work with. We wanted a new front door and window frame to accommodate some pieces of bespoke stained glass. Ben helped us with every step of the design and created a bespoke door and fanlight window that looks absolutely beautiful and does justice to the glass. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing windows, amazing workmanship and lovely people to have around. They totally respected our home and worked hard to minimise mess and disruption.

I could not be happier with my new sash windows and cannot recommend Ben highly enough. First class from initial contact to installation. Thank you!

Ben and Matt’s windows are pieces of art. The windows have transformed our house, and the chaps were lovely to have round. Couldn’t have a better experience.

Awesome casement windows, professionally made, properly installed, perfect making good - we will be instructing additional windows in the future from Woodcock.

First class service. Great in both, communication and quality of the material. Thank you, Ben!

Really positive experience. We're veryt happy both with the end product, and with Ben's receptiveness and flexibility during the process. Thank you. What a difference these windows have made to our home!

Ben was very professional, helpful and polite. He came up with the perfect solution to suit my budget and the window was installed in record time. The quality of the workmanship was second to none and I wouldn't hesitate to use/recommend him again. Thanks Ben and your team.

Ben was recommended to me by a company who could not help. I only needed a new Sash not the sash and box. Ben attend the property and offered advise on what works needed to be undertaken and the best way to do this. Once the order had been placed Ben was in regular contact providing an update on the manufacture and likely delivery / works date. The installation was undertaken by an operative who was prompt and polite. Once the works were complete the room was left in a clean and tidy stated. I would thoroughly recommend Ben and his team

Wonderful service, quick and efficient. Fantastic craftsmanship and everything was left clean and tidy. Our new windows are absolutely amazing!!!

My Victorian property was needing full replacement of two completely different types of window. Both new windows are simply lovely and much smarter! I would definitely recommend this company who made the windows, fitted and finished them with minimal fuss, mess or upheaval. Ben and Matt are a great team who deliver a fine service. Many thanks to them.

I was referred to Ben by another company that advised that he was the only person they would recommend to repair/replace my windows. The job was not easy with original features and suspect looking wood to work around and the advice Ben provided was incredibly useful. After the job was spec'd up by Ben it was Matt that carried out the works and I am pleased to say they are both as professional, friendly and reliable as each other. I real class act team and great guys! The new double glazing looks perfectly in keeping and great. Thanks!

Ben was amazing, hardworking, neat, reliable and a great person to have in the house. Our windows are amazing. He worked so hard and we now have 6 beautiful new sash windows in our home. Woodcock sash windows are the only place to go to get your windows done. I would highly recommend. Thank you Ben for your attention to detail, quality and great service. Hope to work with you again soon.

It was a pleasure to work with Ben in the complete replacement of a sash window. From the start, Ben was professional and tidy and produced an amazing final product. When he heard we had just had a newborn baby, he went above and beyond to keep noises levels to a minimum and kept us informed of any periods where power tools were going to be used. The quality and craftsmanship was excellent and I would definitely recommend Ben for future projects.

Excellent workmanship with fair price.

We love our new doors and windows! Ben replaced our old victorian sash windows and patio doors and you wouldn't know the difference. We have had so many lovely comments from friends, family and neighbours. Our house is so much warmer, and quieter! Dealing with Ben was so easy and comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his products. Ben is hardworking, tidy and conscientious. We can honestly say it was a pleasure having Ben in our home for the week. We actually missed him being around once he was finished!!

FABULOUS. I am over the moon with the work completed by Ben and Kieran. This was a huge project for folding doors and apex glazing to match in a new extension. Everything was bespoke and required a lot of design savvy and technical expertise - WSW Ltd have this in abundance. They also repaired and replaced sash windows which now look fantastic. I really enjoyed the whole process. I will definitely be a returning customer as my old windows now look so tired next to the new ones! Really grateful to these guys.

Couldn’t be happier with the refurbishment of a window. Ben made the process very easy from the first assessment through to completion of the work. He was easy to communicate with and gave very helpful advice. Both Ben and Kieran were a pleasure to have around and the quality of their workmanship and attention to detail is excellent!

Ben was absolutely wonderful! Our sash windows were badly in need of refurbishment and Ben was one of the of the only people we found willing to refurbish rather than replace these windows, dating back to 1790! He did a fabulous job and even helped us to open a window that hadn’t been able to open in years! He also uncovered some secret shutters along the way!! He was very knowledgeable and meticulous to detail and was very neat throughout, with no debris/dust/mess left at any stage. It was lovely having Ben’s company during the process too - he was very friendly, but also attentive to our work schedules and kept noise to a minimum. We would highly recommend Ben and would call him again in future if some of our other doors/windows need some work.

Woodcock Sash Windows installed 2 windows, which had been manufactured by a different company. It was hard to find companies willing to do this. Most work only with their own brand. They did a great job and the windows look great. As this was a relatively quick job for them, they were able to do the work between other jobs and I didn't have to wait long for them to install. I'd recommend this firm.

We would definitely recommend Ben & Team. They have done a fantastic job restoring our old Sash Window. We are really pleased with it. We will be using them again in the future. When we restore the other windows.

Ben refurbished and double glazed our windows and replaced our front door and did an amazing job, they look fantastic and the heat difference and noise reduction is great. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this company. They replaced my sash windows in my house in Wandsworth and did a great job. Ben was very easy to deal with.

We are really happy with the job. Ben removed, renovated and replaced our old sash window and made good some gaps in the mortar where we think the rain was getting in. He was efficient, organised, tidy and courteous too. Would definitely use his company again. Thanks for a great job!

Ben fixed my broken rope in a sash window in no time at all, was friendly and efficient.

Highly recommend Ben who did great work replacing a rotten casement window in the upstairs bay of our Edwardian house. He turned up on time and delivered when he said he would. He is very sensitive to the needs of older properties and no hesitation in recommending.

Woodcock Sash ! Amazing service from start to finish. Fair quote and quality workmanship . Professional work and so happy with end result, cannot recommend Ben enough. Brilliant .

Ben is excellent in the work he does (everything as quoted and explained clearly and professionally executed), the way he goes about the work (clean, dust sheets, cleaning up and finishing off) and just a really pleasant person to be around and talk to. I really can't recommend him highly enough. Thanks Ben.

We need to replace all the windows in our new house built in 1826! Ben has just finished the ground floor and we are delighted with the result. He was able to refurbish the frames and fit new double glazed sashes. BEAUTIFUL. It is so difficult having work done at the moment, but Ben was an absolute pleasure to have in the house. Very neat and tidy and excellent company (socially distanced of course). We are looking forward to commissioning the 1st floor windows in the summer. Thank you Ben

Ben was amazing. We had windows that were in a dire state and he was able to work magic to sort them out. He always left the place clean and was very considerate. Not only is Ben passionate and great at what he does, he is also approachable and honest, an all-round great guy that I trusted in my home and enjoyed talking to. We would 100% recommend Woodcock sash windows and will use them again in the future.

Easy experience, excellent result and nice guy! We had all seven sashes refurbished or replaced on the front of our Edwardian house in Wimbledon. They hadn't had much love for over 20 years, but the work was done really efficiently and to an excellent standard with minimum fuss. Ben is great to work with and left everything secure and in a good state each night. He even finished a few days early. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect service for us. Ben came and looked at our windows, and helped me to ascertain what exactly we needed. Thanks to him, we did not get new double glazing, but rather were able to preserve the original historical windows (I was not even aware how old they were). And obviously a refurbishment was much less expensive than replacing with new windows. Ben works super hard, does excellent work, and delivers 100% what he promises. Not only are Ben's prices very reasonable, but he will not do work that he thinks you do not need, so in fact we paid less than we had originally agreed. Ben offers an outstanding service, couldn't recommend more highly.

Ben was very professional and exceptionally clean, tidy and considerate in my home. The windows he has repaired and redecorated look like new. I would definitely recommend Ben’s work.

Ben did a fantastic job fixing a cracked sash window pane. The job was easy to organise with great communication and competitive price. Ben completed the job to a professional standard and I would definitely use him again for any future jobs. Highly recommended.
