Fix-It Windows

Fix-It Windows replaced three of our windows and were professional throughout, keeping us well informed at every stage. They returned to carry out final measurements before placing the order, and the windows were installed just two weeks later. The fitting was completed to a high standard, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards. I would definitely recommend them.

We are very pleased with the the work and with the helpful engineer, We highly recommend Fix-It

I chose Fix-It Windows to repair a patio door locking mechanism on the back of these Google reviews. I'm glad I did. They are busy, and had to wait a couple of weeks for Paul to come and assess the problem. Luckily he was able to repair the fault straight away at a very reasonable cost. No hesitation to recommend.

Fix - it replaced a blown window in one of our bedrooms. Good communication, courteous & tidy, & reasonable price. Would definitely use again, & would highly recommend.

Fix-it Windows and Door repairs fitted a letter box to an existing door frame sidelight, Paul visited the site, gave a price which was accepted. His office rang with a fitting date and time. The work was carried out on time ,within price. A very professional company, very pleased with the way the work was carried out. Will use again if needed.

This is the Premier company to use for your window repairs or replacements. On contacting the compan you are swiftly helped by Sally, she arranged for Paul to visit and repair our garden room door that had been fitted badly by a previous tradesman. The job was completed swiftly and efficiently by Paul and his colleague to our great satisfaction. We then asked them to look at a window that had blown, and that was again seen to professionally, and all at a very reasonable price. We would reccommend this company without reservation.

Excellent. Quick response and fix. 2 broken window handles. Replaced immediately from van stock. Fair price. Good service. Recommend them.

Great service to replace several windows that had blown and become misty. A very competitive quote and work completed quickly.

We had used Fix It Windows in the past for replacement of blown glass panes and been very satisfied with the service so when we needed two replacement windows we contacted them. Paul and his mate arrived dot on time and worked solidly for 8 hours. They have done a brilliant job on both upstairs windows, one being a dormer which proved to be challenging due to the old window having been badly fitted within the original frame. All problems were overcome in an efficient, cheerful and professional manner. We cannot fault this company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Very friendly and helpful staff, knowledgable about window repair needed. They were prompt in replying to my query, came to look when they said and then got the right parts and fitted them very quickly. The cost was very fair and I would recommend this local business for repairs and would certainly consult them if I need any windows replaced.

Fix it Windows and Doors came and replaced 3 windows in our bungalow From the initial visit to the completion of the job. The 2 Pauls were professional, helpful, good humoured and clean and tidy. The new windows look great - fabulous service would recommend and use them again. Paul and Pauline.

Excellent service provided. Great work done efficiently, friendly and helpful. Have used fixit many times over the years and would highly recommend.

Great service. Would highly recommend

Prompt assessment of my door locking problems. Quick and efficient repair to both doors when replacement parts became available. Would highly recommend this company.

Excellent and prompt service to replace "blown" window panes and replace broken window catches. Definitely will use again

I was very pleased indeed with my replacement window panes. Very efficient service and workmanship. Highly recommend

Fix it Windows have done a couple of jobs for me. They re hung and realigned doors and fixed some sliding patio doors. They are so professional and helpful, I would 100% recommend using them. I will use them again.

We had two upstairs double glazed sealed units replaced. Fix-it Windows did a first class job measuring up, and also when they replaced the units. Good email and telephone communication too. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic service! My kitchen window was stuck in the trickle position. Fix It fixed it providing me with clear maintenance instructions for all my windows. I am so grateful. Friendly efficient and inexpensive Couldn’t be happier Thank you Debbie Faulkner

Excellent - I cannot recommend Fix-It Windows & Doors highly enough. They replaced a number of blown double glazed window and French door units on the back of our house, adjusted the hinges on the French doors to allow smooth operation and supplied and installed a replacement front door, which looks amazing. The whole process was made very easy. They are truly lovely people, who care about the service they provide and at a great price too.

We have used Fix-it Window & Door Repairs for replacement double glazed sealed units, when existing units had become misted. We have also had four complete new windows. We have had excellent service from them. Terry Murray Merley.

We had Fix-It Windows supply and fit a new window and door unit when our kitchen was refurbished. Because their workmanship and product quality was excellent, I have now used them to replace two other double glazed windows which had failed. I am very pleased with their work. They came on the days and times arranged, were helpful and did a clean tidy job which was competitively priced.

Excellent job very helpful and friendly service would recommend this company to anyone very competitive price many thanks

Replacing two sets of wooden framed patio doors on our second floor balconies was not an easy task, but the guys did another superbly professional job and we are delighted with the result.

From measuring up, to quote and then to fitting, Peter, Taylor and Sally have given us a first class service. Very satisfied with door and window. Would have no hesitation of recommending Fix-It Windows.

Perfection in execution and service! We lost the feeling of floating patio doors. Over the years, they started to get harder to open, even refusing to be locked. And then came the ever so friendly and professional crew from Fix-it. These guys get it, they work in sync almost morphing into each other, amazing. Thank you for a job well done, priced fairly and executed to perfection and on time!

We have used Fix It windows over a number of years and always receive such good service from Paul and his colleague. So good to know they will come and sort any problems with our windows/doors/locking soonest. We highly recommend them when you have need of professional workmanship. On the first day of Spring we can finally enjoy a clear view! Thank you so much.

Excellent - I would absolutely recommend Fix-It Windows. They have a booked up diary for a reason - excellent work fixing and replacing the locks, handles, hinges and sealed units throughout my house for a great price. Will definitely use them again in future.

Great job today by professional and courteous firm. Blown glass replacements and other alignment work. Thank you for juggling the appointment date.

Give 5 stars During the heavy rain we are experiencing Conservatory door leaking very badly plus small windows leaking and filled with moisture. Fitter was here within 24 hours of our call. Door was fixed there and then and quote given to replace glass in window. Quote was reasonable and the work on window now completed in the time predicted. Excellent I have never had any previous experience before of having to find company to carry out this type of repair. I can definitely recommend this company. Fitter very professional and arriving on given time for appointment Thank you

Good clean job done efficiently our new front door looks lovely. Very good price

We have just had our ground floor windows and two doors replaced. Paul and his colleague worked very hard, and were both very friendly. The quality and attention to detail when sealing around a very difficult door opening was incredible. The house was left clean and tidy without any damage to the brickwork. The finished job looks excellent! I cannot rate them highly enough. Thank you Fit It Windows.

I was unable to open or close a small window. In the time of 5 minutes it was fixed. A local company which comes highly recommended.

We were recommended to use Paul and his team by a friend and have not been disappointed. The work was completed this week, they arrived on time and were cheerful and friendly. Great quality windows, we already noticing a difference. Brilliant job, I highly recommend.

Broke beading on our window when replacing it and said they would be back with a part which would take a couple of days to arrive, as wasn’t left water tight. We then had heavy rain and the water leaked through our ceiling. When I contacted them, they denied stating it wasn’t water tight and also said the part would take a couple of weeks to arrive not days! This was not what I was told! When they eventually returned a few weeks later due to Covid, they denied the leak was to do with the window as it was left water tight. Yet since it has been fixed, the water has not leaked through?! 🤷‍♀️ We are now left with a ceiling that needs redecorating thanks to this company! The workmen also refused to remove their shoes in our house and wore their face masks only covering their mouth not nose during the height of the pandemic! Avoid!!

I have had 3 windows replaced by Fix-It windows. The service was excellent and very friendly. I can highly recommend.

We had some really old bay windows in our property and Paul at Fix-it windows was recommended to us. The whole process was fabulous. We received our quote, it was clear and easy to follow. We paid the deposit and were rang to arrange an installation date. The guys turned up on time and were, polite, clean and tidy and meticulous in their work. We were left with the final invoice, which I paid using a BACs transfer. Fantastic local trader, I'd give them 6 stars if I could. No messing about with haggling or upsales like some of the mainstream window companies. We are very happy with our windows and they come complete with a 10year warranty. Overall I felt that I had been treated like a wanted and respected customer. I was given a fair price for the work and I put money into a local business. If you want windows changed/fixed repaired. You really can't do better.

Fantastic service, very friendly and extremely well priced! Highly recommend!

I've used Fix-It Windows For several years - they've repaired hinges, locks & blown glazing panels etc - all the fiddly jobs that most 'Home Improvement' firms shy away from. Paul Wales & his team have never refused a challenge and sorted every problem job I've sent their way. Yesterday, he replaced my old leaky patio doors with the very latest French doors and I'm delighted with the result !

What a star Paul from Fit-It Windows is. He was fitting a door for a customer on my road and I was trying to fit a doorbell and sign to my PVC Porch. I asked his advise about drilling into PVC plastic. It started to rain but, bless him, he got his drill out, gave me some weatherproof screws and finished the job off. I offered Paul 'a drink' for his time and trouble but he would not accept and just gave me his business card in case I needed any doors or windows fixed in future. I will be certainly be calling him.

Have been using Paul for a number of years, replacing blown windows also replacing window hinges we also had new windows for the front of our bungalow and just recently had new front door fitted. Paul and his team are very professional very tidy and very punctual and charge a fair priced in my opinion. The other important point they are not like typical double glazing company's wherein being pushy you explain the job you require and that's what they price for, I would certainly recommend Fix-It Windows for their excellent service keep up the good work guys thankyou Allan Bellamy Poole

Just had this installed by Fix-IT Windows, what can I say except QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY! The 2 Pauls were punctual, polite, pleasant and very knowledgeable about the product, they gave full details of how to maintain it. The price quoted was very competitive and was what I paid, no extras like a lot of companies. I have used this company before for smaller job and they have always been extremely good. I have no hesitation in recommending them, I certainly will be using them again if the need calls. Thanks Paul squared!

Brilliant job, helpful pleasant staff, punctual,do a full days work and clear up mess

Brilliant job, friendly staff, clean tidy hard workers, punctual and helpful

Professional, friendly and helpful, an all-round excellent service. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Tuesday 14th July 2020 Thank you very much Paul and Paul for arriving on time and completing 3 window glass replacements with oiling of hinges too. Your working is swift and efficient also leaving my home clean.

We have had new windows and window repairs done through Fix-It. An amazingly professional company, the service is second to none and the workmanship is of the highest standard. Really friendly staff who reply to queries instantly. Really highly recommended!

Paul and Sally are so lovely and helpful. Well priced & trustworthy company, highly recommend! I am always anxious about a new tradesman going into my elderly mother-in-law's home when I can't be there, but I completely trust Paul a d will use Fix-It Window & Door Repairs again 👍😊

Brilliant service, cannot fault. Would highly recommend! Thank you!

Ignore the post above-had many years of entirly customer focussed care- that comment is unjustified in my experience, Paul and the team have always been very helpful and good at the job

highly recommend this company efficient and really helpful

Excellent customer service. I was kept up to date throughout, from arranging access via our tenant, to receiving a prompt and thorough quote to having the works booked in and completed. The works were done to a good standard. I am normally sceptical of using contractors I have not used before but their thorough and prompt customer service made me feel assured. The job was also priced cheaper than a competitor quote we received. I will gladly use Fix-it again.

A Company that fails to 'follow-up' I asked them once for window-locks - no response - I bought them myself. Came to look at leaking conservatory - no quote sent back despite phone calls. Do yourself a favour go elsewhere they have no interest in the customer
