I chose Fix-It Windows to repair a patio door locking mechanism on the back of these Google reviews. I'm glad I did. They are busy, and had to wait a couple of weeks for Paul to come and assess the problem. Luckily he was able to repair the fault straight away at a very reasonable cost. No hesitation to recommend.

This is the Premier company to use for your window repairs or replacements. On contacting the compan you are swiftly helped by Sally, she arranged for Paul to visit and repair our garden room door that had been fitted badly by a previous tradesman. The job was completed swiftly and efficiently by Paul and his colleague to our great satisfaction. We then asked them to look at a window that had blown, and that was again seen to professionally, and all at a very reasonable price. We would reccommend this company without reservation.

We had used Fix It Windows in the past for replacement of blown glass panes and been very satisfied with the service so when we needed two replacement windows we contacted them. Paul and his mate arrived dot on time and worked solidly for 8 hours. They have done a brilliant job on both upstairs windows, one being a dormer which proved to be challenging due to the old window having been badly fitted within the original frame. All problems were overcome in an efficient, cheerful and professional manner. We cannot fault this company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent - I cannot recommend Fix-It Windows & Doors highly enough. They replaced a number of blown double glazed window and French door units on the back of our house, adjusted the hinges on the French doors to allow smooth operation and supplied and installed a replacement front door, which looks amazing. The whole process was made very easy. They are truly lovely people, who care about the service they provide and at a great price too.

Because their workmanship and product quality was excellent, I have now used them to replace two other double glazed windows which had failed. I am very pleased with their work. Give 5 stars During the heavy rain we are experiencing Conservatory door leaking very badly plus small windows leaking and filled with moisture. Fitter was here within 24 hours of our call. Door was fixed there and then and quote given to replace glass in window. Quote was reasonable and the work on window now completed in the time predicted. Excellent I have never had any previous experience before of having to find company to carry out this type of repair. I can definitely recommend this company. We have just had our ground floor windows and two doors replaced. Paul and his colleague worked very hard, and were both very friendly. The quality and attention to detail when sealing around a very difficult door opening was incredible. The house was left clean and tidy without any damage to the brickwork. Broke beading on our window when replacing it and said they would be back with a part which would take a couple of days to arrive, as wasn’t left water tight. We then had heavy rain and the water leaked through our ceiling. When I contacted them, they denied stating it wasn’t water tight and also said the part would take a couple of weeks to arrive not days! This was not what I was told! When they eventually returned a few weeks later due to Covid, they denied the leak was to do with the window as it was left water tight. Yet since it has been fixed, the water has not leaked through?! 🤷♀️ We are now left with a ceiling that needs redecorating thanks to this company! The workmen also refused to remove their shoes in our house and wore their face masks only covering their mouth not nose during the height of the pandemic! Avoid!!

We had some really old bay windows in our property and Paul at Fix-it windows was recommended to us. The whole process was fabulous. We received our quote, it was clear and easy to follow. We paid the deposit and were rang to arrange an installation date. The guys turned up on time and were, polite, clean and tidy and meticulous in their work. We were left with the final invoice, which I paid using a BACs transfer. Fantastic local trader, I'd give them 6 stars if I could. No messing about with haggling or upsales like some of the mainstream window companies. We are very happy with our windows and they come complete with a 10year warranty. Overall I felt that I had been treated like a wanted and respected customer. I was given a fair price for the work and I put money into a local business. If you want windows changed/fixed repaired. You really can't do better.

I've used Fix-It Windows For several years - they've repaired hinges, locks & blown glazing panels etc - all the fiddly jobs that most 'Home Improvement' firms shy away from. Paul Wales & his team have never refused a challenge and sorted every problem job I've sent their way. Yesterday, he replaced my old leaky patio doors with the very latest French doors and I'm delighted with the result !
What a star Paul from Fit-It Windows is. He was fitting a door for a customer on my road and I was trying to fit a doorbell and sign to my PVC Porch. I asked his advise about drilling into PVC plastic. It started to rain but, bless him, he got his drill out, gave me some weatherproof screws and finished the job off. I offered Paul 'a drink' for his time and trouble but he would not accept and just gave me his business card in case I needed any doors or windows fixed in future. I will be certainly be calling him.
Have been using Paul for a number of years, replacing blown windows also replacing window hinges we also had new windows for the front of our bungalow and just recently had new front door fitted. Paul and his team are very professional very tidy and very punctual and charge a fair priced in my opinion. The other important point they are not like typical double glazing company's wherein being pushy you explain the job you require and that's what they price for, I would certainly recommend Fix-It Windows for their excellent service keep up the good work guys thankyou Allan Bellamy Poole
Just had this installed by Fix-IT Windows, what can I say except QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY! The 2 Pauls were punctual, polite, pleasant and very knowledgeable about the product, they gave full details of how to maintain it. The price quoted was very competitive and was what I paid, no extras like a lot of companies. I have used this company before for smaller job and they have always been extremely good. Excellent customer service. I was kept up to date throughout, from arranging access via our tenant, to receiving a prompt and thorough quote to having the works booked in and completed. The works were done to a good standard. I am normally sceptical of using contractors I have not used before but their thorough and prompt customer service made me feel assured. The job was also priced cheaper than a competitor quote we received. I will gladly use Fix-it again.
A Company that fails to 'follow-up' I asked them once for window-locks - no response - I bought them myself. Came to look at leaking conservatory - no quote sent back despite phone calls. Do yourself a favour go elsewhere they have no interest in the customer
