I regret having this company trim down some trees and install a fence five years ago. Due to lack of tree knowledge by this company, leylandeii in particular, I have just paid £600 to have them removed as they were dying. Far too much was taken off, we’ve actually been told that they were butchered, and the nature of the tree is such that they shouldn’t be overpruned. Any tree surgeon who know their trade should have known this and advised us of such. I reckon we’ve lost £20-30k off the value of our bungalow as our garden now has a full view of a block of flats. The fence was poorly installed with rattling, crooked panels and substandard posts. I had them back as the panels were loose and they just pushed in wooden noggins. When I approached the company when my trees were dying, two years later, I was told there’d been a hot summer (it hadn’t, 2022) and we probably hadn’t watered them. No one else’s trees had died. In fact more emphasis was put on ridiculing me for referring to the tree surgeons as lads. I’d avoid this company if I was you, quick enough to take your money, do a poor job, and give you poor advice and non existent after sales.
A great job done today (26/02/24) by Brad, Harry and Adam. A whole tree felled in one day. Very courteous, professional and tidy workmanship. Would highly recommend for any tree work. Thanks once again. Jerry and Lesley Jessica Ave Verwood.
